Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Mark of the White Wolf

The snow fell in silent sheets over the Bloodfang Pack territory, covering the dead leaves and the scent of betrayal.

Selene's breath came in shallow bursts as she stumbled through the dark woods, barefoot, bloodied, and hunted. Her white wolf once a symbol of divinity was now cursed. The Moon Goddess had chosen her, yet her own mate had cast her out.

"You were never meant to rule," Alpha Darius had growled before slashing the mating mark from her neck, his eyes cold, void of the love he once swore. "The Moon made a mistake."

She didn't scream. Not even when his Beta dragged her across the ground like a carcass. She had screamed too many times before. For her parents. For her pack. For the future that had been stolen.

Now, only silence remained.

The snow turned crimson where she walked. The wolves howled in the distance—celebrating the Luna's banishment like it was a victory feast.

Selene collapsed near the edge of the Crescent Cliff, her wolf whimpering weakly inside her. Her vision blurred, but the silver moon above seemed to pulse with life.

Then she heard it.

A voice—low, ancient, echoing within her bones.

"Your pain is not the end. It is the beginning."

Selene's body arched as an unseen force surged through her. A blinding white light erupted from her skin, and her wolf—her divine wolf howled once more.

But this time, it wasn't in pain. It was in rebirth.

Three Years Later

The White Wolf was a ghost story now. Packs whispered her name in fear and reverence.

Some said she died. Others swore she was gathering strength, blessed by the Moon herself, waiting to reclaim the throne she was denied.

They were all wrong.

Selene hadn't died. She had risen.

And now, under the blood moon of the Reaping, she would return to the lands that cast her out. But not as a broken Luna.

She was no longer the mate of an Alpha.

She was the Luna of the Wild Moon, born of light, trained in shadows, and destined to unite the broken bloodlines of the North.

Her vengeance would not be served cold.

It would burn through the forests like wildfire.
