IJN Kirishima

1440 Hours

IJN Kirishima continued to stand still near the Wreckage of IJN Musashi as her surviving crews were still being rescued by Kirishima's Crews.

"Sir, Our Communication system has been destroyed and we cannot contact the base or the 1st Task Force Fleet," said the communication officer of Kirishima to the Commanding officer, Captain Youji Takeda.

"Sir, we have rescued Admiral Tsukada and he seems fine, no signs of injury" said another Sailor as he rushed in to inform Captain Takeda about this good news. "He would like to talk to you."

"I'll go now." said Captain Takeda before rushing out of the bridge while Captain Hiroshi Masao, the Executive Officer of IJN Kirishima, followed him from behind.

Both of them ran as fast as they could so that they could talk to Admiral Haruki Tsukada, one of the many admirals in the Imperial Japanese Navy and the very person that the fleet was escorting, about the current situation. They reached the Cruiser's Deck and continued to rush to Admiral Tsukada, running past the ship's crews trying to save the Surviving Crews from the water one by one.

"Admiral Tsukada." said Captain Takeda as he approached the soaked Admiral Tsukada before taking off his hat and bowing to the Admiral "I am glad you survived the attack."

"I can't believe that we're in an ambush." said Admiral Tsukada while taking off his black coat and handing it to Captain Takeda "Tell Admiral Hayashi to wait for me."

"Admira, We cannot contact the 1st Pacific Task Force Fleet." replied Captain Takeda with a sad expression on his face.

"If we cannot contact Admiral Hayashi, the 1st Pacific Task Force will not be able to come and rescue us," said Admiral Tuskada.

Admiral Tsukada turned his attention to the Unknown American Fleet, looking at the Carrier in the middle of the Fleet as a Turboprop Aircraft with a dome on top was launched from the carrier.

"We'll get you inside." said Captain Masao to Admiral Tuskada before taking the admiral inside.

United States Navy's 2nd Carrier Strike Group Fleet

Combat Information Center of USS Enterprise CVN-80

The Atmosphere inside the room was no longer tense as the situation began to calm down after the successful sinking of 3 Imperial Japanese Navy's Cruisers and One Battleship.

"Sir, E-2X Hawkeye has been deployed." said Air Warfare Coordinator of the Enterprise to Vice Admiral Steven.

"Sir, Skyeye-1 is not even a few kilometers from us but it already detected 12 Enemy ships, approximately 600 Kilometers north of the fleet." said the Radar as loads of data were sent from the launched E-2X Hawkeyes after a Data Link was established.

The Room fell into silence as each officer was doing their assigned job while being observed by Vice Admiral Steven. He continued to look at the Radar Scan sent from Skyeye-1 and after a while, Skyeye-1's Main Camera System was activated, allowing the AWACS to capture pictures of the Fleet from Hundred of Kilometers and with the Powerful Camera System and advanced Zooming System, Skyeye-1 was able to took pictures of the fleets from high up in the sky and those photos were sent to the CIC of Enterprise.

"Pictures from Skyeye have been analysed and there's a carrier in the fleet. I believe that this is a Supercarrier because of its size compared to other ships in the fleet." said Rear Admiral Jack Malloy to Vice Admiral Steven before handing two photos to him. "There are 12 Small Ships, either destroyers or frigates but further zoom shows that each of these destroyers has 4 Quad Cells Missiles Launchers and a couple weapon systems that I think are Close In Weapon Systems."

"Angled Flight Deck, Rising Sun Flag." said Vice Steven as he looked at the first picture from the E-2X Hawkeye "This must be an Imperial Japanese navy's carrier and are those Fighter Jets on the Flight Deck?" He continued before checking another picture showing the zoomed image of a destroyer near the supercarrier "These probably house Anti-ship missiles. Since this Imperial Japanese Navy fleet seemed to no longer have world war 2 style ships, I suppose that these Anti-ship Missiles are not designed to penetrate heavily armoured ships".

"The carrier's length is estimated to be around 330 meters and the beam around 38 meters." said Rear Admiral Malloy as he pointed to something on the picture Vice Admiral Steven was holding "Two bow Catapults with 2 More on the Angled Flight Deck, possibly Steam Catapults. The Island has no funnels so this could be a Nuclear Powered Supercarrier."

"If this carrier is Nuclear Powered, then, this could be early 1960's or late 1950's." said Vice Admiral Steven after a brief moment of thinking when something hit him in the head "The Island Superstructure." said the Vice Admiral as he pointed at the carrier's Island Superstructure "It's a box shape, Phased Array Radar? Enterprise design?"

"What does USS Enterprise have to do with this?." asked Rear Admiral Malloy before he looked closer to the Photo. "It's possible that the Big Box island Superstructure is used because of the use of Electronically Scanned Array radar like sir said."

"CVN-65 has the same Island Superstructure as this Japanese Carrier." said the Vice Admiral as he looked at Rear Admiral Malloy "Phased Array Radar can scan up to 3 Dimensional Space. We are about to face a Nuclear Powered Supercarrier. We have to act fast"

"Then, what should we do?" asked Rear Admiral Malloy "Deploy F-35's?"

"Let E-2X continue to scan the area." said Vice Admiral Steven "We don't want to escalate too much since we're only a fleet. We have limited weapons. Try avoiding detection from that carrier."

After saying this, Vice Admiral Steven handed back the two pictures to Rear Admiral Malloy. Rear Admiral Malloy started making his way out of the CIC and left the room.

"Sir, IJN Kirishima seems to be standing still." said the Radar Operator while looking at the Radar Scan.

"Keep an eye on them." said Vice Admiral Steven "Make sure that they don't retaliate on us."

"Aight sir." replied the Radar Operator when all of a sudden, Link 16X between USS Enterprise and Skyeye-1 updated "Sir, Skyeye-1 has detected a chain of islands. 500 kilometers North West of the Fleet."

"What?" said Vice Admiral Steven as he went to that Radar Operator's Console to look at the radar scan from the AWACS. As soon as he saw the island chain, he was shocked to know that the island chain was "That's Hawaii."

"What are we going to do sir." asked the Tactical Action Officer approaching the Vice Admiral

"Tell Admiral Grant that we are not away from Hawaii," Vice Admiral Steven continued "Launch X-47b to do a recon mission on Hawaii."

"Aight Sir."

"Sir, since there's no GPS System, we need to transmit the control through Skyeye-1 and then to reach the drone." said the Drone Operator while turning his head to Vice Admiral Steven "We need at least 3 more AWACS to ensure that the connection will not be lost."

"Alright." said Vice Admiral Steven before walking the phone behind him and connecting the line to Aircraft Handling Officer or Airboss of the Enterprise "This is Vice Admiral Steven, this is the direct order, launch another E-2X."

"Yes, Vice Admiral." replied the Airboss from the Enterprise's Primary Flight Control Room before the line was closed.

Bridge of USS Enterprise CVN-80

The Bridge was silent, everyone was standing still, thinking about what could happen next. Admiral Grant was still standing on the same location, looking down to the flight deck as deck crews were preparing to Launch X-47B. Admiral Grant continued to observe while a small car operated by a deck crew was pulling the UAV to the Catapult.

"Recon mission over Hawaii…" said Admiral Grant as he signed, looking at the Front of the carrier as the X-47b's engine came to life and was pulled by the Electromagnetic Catapult before the drone's Turbofan Engine went full throttle, gaining thrust and altitude, ascending up into the sky.

"Sir, according to the radar scan and the on board map, We can determine our location to be around the same as before the storm," said Rear Admiral Malloy standing next to Admiral Grant, looking at the Flight Deck. "Our Search Radars are still downed and the carrier's Technicians are doing their best to fix this issue as fast as possible"

"They are loading B61 huh." Said Admiral Grant while looking down to the Flight deck, seeing the Weapon Officers loading Multiple B61's onto 5 F-35C's Internal Bay. "These B61 was supposed to be used on China" he continued as he sighed "We are stuck in this world, I don't know what will happen to all of our relatives"

"Maybe someday, we might return back?" Said Rear Admiral Malloy, looking out to the vast sea with no end "There must be a reason we are transferred here"

"Only time will tell" answered Admiral Grant "Make sure that we captured every Japanese in that fleet and interrogate the highest ranking officer"

"Admiral, May I ask a question before you go." asked Rear Admiral Malloy as Admiral Grant was about to leave.

"Go on." replied Admiral Grant.

"Why doesn't the Mark 52 release radiation?" asked Rear Admiral Malloy without any hesitation.

"All I can tell you is that it uses a New Generation of Nuclear Weapons for its warhead." answered Admiral Grant, "Other info is classified."

Admiral Grant started walking out of the bridge, heading for his room as Rear Admiral Malloy looked at the admiral leaving the bridge.

"New Generation of Nuclear Warheads?" said Rear Admiral Malloy to himself, thinking about this new Nuclear Weapon. He turned his attention to the Aircraft Elevator in front of the carrier's Island Superstructure when something caught his attention "AGM-181 LRSO?" said the Surprised Rear Admiral Malloy after noticing the weapon elevator acceding up, showing two Long Range Standoff Weapons. He looked at the two Nuclear weapons being transported by the deck crews to a F-35C beside the Island "What is Admiral trying to do?"

After asking himself this, he decided that the best thing to do was to ask Admiral Grant himself about his intention. So, with this in his mind, Rear Admiral Malloy left the bridge, heading for Admiral Grant's room while the bridge crews were looking at him.

USS William Charette DDG-130

An Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missiles Destroyer, USS William Charette (DDG-130), broke formation along with other two Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missiles Destroyer, USS George M. Neal (DDG-131) and USS John E. Kilmer (DDG-134), pushing through waves of water at a speed of 30 Knots, heading for IJN Kirishima to seize the Cruiser and capture all of her crews, especially the Commanding Officer and the Executive Officer.

"Looks like you have no way to run away now." said the Commanding Officer of USS William Charette, Captain Daniel Vance, while looking at IJN Kirishima with his Binoculars from the bridge of his Destroyer. He continued to look at the IJN cruiser as the cruiser's crews were just finished saving the survivors.

On the Helipad of USS William Charette, a SH-60 Seahawk started its Turboshaft Engines as its rotors started to spin slowly. Five Marines ran out to the Helipad of the Destroyers, fully equipped with their latest and most advanced Tactical Gears yet, before going on board the SH-60 Seahawk.

"We jump down from the helicopter and capture everyone on board." said Lieutenant John Fletcher as he and his team got on board the helicopter. "This is Charlie 0-1, we are ready to take off."

The Rotors of the Helicopter began to spin faster and faster before finally taking off from the helipad, gaining altitude and speeding off toward IJN Kirishima. Lieutenant Fletcher looked down to the sea, seeing two RIHBs speeding from the other two Arleigh Burke Class destroyers, both heading for IJN Kirishima while each having ten Marines, fully equipped with the same gears as them. He returned his attention back to the Japanese Cruiser as they were about to reach it.

"There's a helipad on that cruiser, land there." said Lieutenant Fletcher to the Pilot of the Seahawk as the distance between them and the Kirishima was getting smaller.

"Yes, Lieutenant." replied the Pilot after he noticed the helipad on the aft of the Cruiser.

The Helicopter ascended down to the helipad and before the helicopter even landed down to the cruiser deck, the Marines jumped out from the helicopter, landing on their feet.

"This is Charlie 0-1, we have successfully boarded the cruiser." said Lieutenant Fletcher to his comms while holding his M27A4 Rifles.

"This is Echo Team, we are preparing to board the cruiser." a voice was heard through his comms while two ladders were thrown onto the cruiser's deck and the all twenty marines climbed up the ladders from their RIHBs, boarding the cruiser.

"Everyone, make sure that your head up displays are working properly." said Lieutenant Fletcher to comms.

"This is the CIC from USS Enterprise, the blueprint of Kongo Class has been sent." The voice of a man was heard by every marines currently on board the Cruiser. "The Blueprint will be shown on your HUD, out"

Lieutenant Fletcher and his Marines started making their way to the inside of Kirishima and started clearing the Cruiser, capturing every Japanese Sailor they saw and with the help of the other 20 Marines, they were able to successfully capture the ship and its crews.

Inside Captain Takeda's Room

Admiral Tsukada was sitting behind Captain's Takeda desk while Captain Tadeda and Captain Masao were sitting on chairs beside the desk. Lieutenant Fletcher and 6 Marines were standing inside the room, holding their guns tight and keeping their alert high. Lieutenant Fletcher was standing on the corner of the room while making a report back to the Carrier by typing the report on the screen on his arm when he received an order from Admiral Grant to bring the Japanese Admiral and the two Captains to USS Enterprise. After seeing the order popping up on the screen, he walked up to Admiral Tuskada and stood there, looking at the Admiral sitting down.

"Hey, do you even speak English?" asked Lieutenant Fletcher while looking at the Japanese Admiral.

"Whether I can or not, it doesn't matter." replied the Admiral in English which surprised Lieutenant Fletcher. "Because of you damn Americans, we already lost 2 Admiral in just the last two years."

"We are going to take you for interrogation." said Lieutenant Fletcher while continuing to look at Admiral Tsukada as two Marines came to take the Admiral. The other 4 Marines took Captain Takeda and Captain Masao with them.

After the 6 Marines took the 3 Japanese Officers out of the room, Lieutenant Fletcher continued to look at the room, especially Captain Takeda's desk after he saw a picture frame on the desk. He took the picture frame and looked at it. It's a photo of a family and it seemed that it's a picture of Captain Takeda's Family with him standing in the middle while his two daughters and his wife stood next to him while wearing traditional Japanese Kimono. He looked at the bottom left of the picture and saw the year "1956" which he realized this year was probably after 1956.

"Lieutenant, are you going with us?" asked a Marine while peeping out into the room.

"I'll be there." replied Lieutenant Fletcher after he returned back to his senses. He looked at the photo for a bit more which reminded him about his other two daughters. He put the photo back to the desk and left the room.

He reached the helipad and boarded the Seahawk helicopter with the other 2 Marines, heading for USS Enterprise while transporting Admiral Tsukada, Captain Takeda and Captain Masao.

Empire of Japan's Occupied Territory of United States of America's West Coast

California, San Francisco

4th of July, 1958

5:50PM / 1750 Hours

Despite California being under Japanese's control, it was still as busy as before the Occupation. San Francisco was full of lives throughout the city despite being under the Japanese's control since the Invasion of the US in 1943.

It was already evening, the sun was coming down, shining over the City of San Francisco with a bright orange light as night slowly took over. Even at this time, the Golden Gate bridge was still filled with endless waves of cars travelling on the Bridge, standing strong with these weights after 14 years. Not far away from this bridge, Several Imperial Japanese Navy's destroyers and Cruisers were seen sailing out of California to somewhere the public didn't know.

On a Street in San Francisco, different colours of cars were travelling down the street, people walking down the Pavement. In front of a Cafe, there was a man, wearing a white shirt with a black pants, sitting on a chair while reading today's New York Time newspaper.

"One of the Japanese Admiral missing while travelling to Pearl Harbor?" Said the Man while reading the Newspaper, flipping through pages about the breaking news as if it was important to him. He's Alan Paul, A Young 29 year old man living in San Francisco. "I need to tell this to Michael"

Before he could even finish reading the newspaper, two Japanese police officers shouted in the Distance as they ran at a fast speed toward Paul.

"Hey, You, stop there." Shouted one of the officers as they were running toward Paul.

The Shouting of the officer made Paul's Attention going from reading the Newspaper to the Two Japanese Offices. As soon as he saw the two running officers, his instinct kicked in as he put down the newspaper to the Table next to him before running off as soon as he got off the chair. Paul started running as fast as he could while looking back only to see the two officers still in a pursuit for him. He returned his attention back and while he was running past people commuting down the pavement, he turned to his right, running along another road before jumping into a valley and hid there. He stood inside the valley as sweats started dripping down from heads while breathing heavily. He stood there, waiting for the two officers to eventually run past the Valley. He peeked as head out, looking at his surroundings to make sure he was safe. After looking around as bystanders looked back at him, he backed to the valley before sitting on the ground with his back beside the brick wall.

"That was a close one" said Paul as he threw out a big breath while sweat continued to drip down, as if he knew what would happen if the two officers caught him "I need to return back to base." He continued while looking at his empty hand "God Damn it, I forgot the newspaper"
