📜 [Veltharion Calendar System]
Used across the world of Veltharion and its affiliated realms.
In a world where Aether shapes both seasons and survival, time doesn't just pass — it flows, measured by a structure refined over countless ages. This calendar isn't celestial or mythical in origin — it's functional, practical, and universally followed across Veltharion.
Here's how time is measured:
---
🔟 Weekdays
A week in Veltharion has 10 days — nothing more, nothing less. The days repeat in a fixed cycle used for everything from travel schedules to cultivation routines.
Lunethday
Arkosday
Vaelday
Zhorasday
Tyrosday
Cyrnday
Velday
Narethday
Orrasday
Myndrasday
There is no religious or astrological weight to these names. They're simply part of how society moves — schools, systems, missions, and life itself are organized by this rhythm. Myndrasday, the 10th day, is often treated as a rest or reset day in many regions.
---
📅 Months & Highrest
The year is divided into 10 months, each consisting of 59 days. After every month ends, there is a 9-day period called Highrest — a neutral block where normal scheduling pauses. These Highrest days are not part of the weekday cycle and are commonly used for rest, ceremonies, or resets before the next month begins.
The 10 months are:
1. Veyrune
2. Solharen
3. Kaeldros
4. Thamoris
5. Draventh
6. Aesundra
7. Veltrinox
8. Nhalivor
9. Zepharun
10. Myrrthas
Each month keeps the same number of days year after year. Seasons do shift, but in some regions — such as the City of Gates, where the Aether remains stable — time flows unaffected by external patterns.
---
❄️ Seasons
Veltharion has five seasons, each lasting 118 days. They follow natural energy shifts rather than climate alone. These are known universally, though their effects vary across continents and cultures.
1. Dawnmelt
2. Highflare
3. Fadewell
4. Duskrime
5. Glimmerend
Some places bend with the seasons. Others remain untouched.
---
This calendar doesn't belong to any one people. It's the system recognized by all major regions of Veltharion — not for tradition, but because it works.
And for those who walk between dimensions, it gives one fixed anchor… when everything else shifts.
