The city was bustling with its usual morning chaos — honking cars, hurried footsteps, and the faint hum of neon signs flickering to life. Kai stood at the crowded bus stop, his eyes half-closed, staring out at the towering skyscrapers that stretched above him like cold, indifferent giants. It was just another ordinary day in a world that had long since given up on surprises.
He shuffled his feet in the dirt, adjusting his worn-out backpack as the familiar scent of stale coffee wafted through the air. The bus, late as always, would come eventually, but Kai wasn't in any hurry. The thought of another day at the office, another endless stretch of spreadsheets and client calls, made him feel like a cog in a machine — a machine that didn't need him, but that he couldn't leave.

A loud, deafening *crack* echoed through the street, and before anyone could react, the rift split open wide, revealing what lay beyond: a vast, sprawling landscape filled with jagged mountains, towering creatures, and dark, foreboding forests. A massive, reptilian beast, covered in scales as black as night, stepped through the rift. It roared, shaking the ground beneath them. Kai's instincts screamed at him to run, but his feet were frozen in place.
"Get inside!" someone screamed, pushing through the crowd.
The creature let out another bone-rattling roar. Its eyes locked onto the streets below, and it leaped, its claws ripping through the air like knives.
Kai stumbled backward, his heart pounding. Panic swept through the crowd, and people began to scatter in every direction. He watched as the first few people were torn apart by the creature's massive claws. His hands trembled, and he didn't even know what to do. His mind went blank, and for a moment, he was frozen in terror.
But then… something strange happened.
A flash of light sparked in his chest, warm and sudden. His vision blurred, and a strange voice echoed in his head.

Kai blinked, confused. What the hell? What was that?
Before he could process it further, the ground beneath him cracked open, revealing a set of glowing symbols. The words *"Dungeon Entrance Detected"* flickered in the air before vanishing into thin air. And then — as if the world was responding to some unseen force — the city around him began to distort. Buildings trembled, and the sky darkened even more, as if the entire world was warping.
