Those were the words of the first Vestan heir Ralphus Vestanian many centuries ago. To be exact 20,000 years. Many moons ago, many wars ago and countless succesors. Ralphus found the Vestanian planet Vyistros (;Vistros). A planet who became one of the biggest empires till this day. He and his lady Anora taught their people to be humble, to not seek revenge but justice and to share. The galaxy should honor Empires like House Vestan for there wealthy by sharing and caring.
Unfortunately these days 20,00 years later their are only a handful of traditional empires left. the rest became corps and republics and some dictatorships. Vyistros is therefore known for its perfect blend of progressiveness and honour traditon. The majority of the galaxy thinks we should abandon ancient times. and so does 40% of Vest, modern day name of Vyistros to new republics and corps. not to Vyistros itself. Vyis comes from the ancient name for Vestanian and ''tros'' from the ancient language word ''sharing'' because Ralphus and Anore gave their folk the same holy grapes, holy pesto and drinks as they ate and drunk. Kostic, the galaxy famous pesto is from Vyistros. the Kostic oil is only found in Vyistros's soil. It is absolutely delicicious and House Vestan over centuries made a lot of revenue from it because it is not finite.
Vyistros consists of major modern cities, enormous trading ports and astonishing food. They do have the biggest artillery but artillery is not relevant these days were people have powers that are way too strong. But not really everyone does. Only royal blood, accidents or other origin stories create the good and the bad. Fortunately most of the weird, outrageous criminals are captured on Busillic (modern name- Bullsik), planet of president Charles bullsif. who actually is called Charloi Kylian Bullsif. But he got rid of the ancient tradition after his father Kylian Coogler Bullsif abdicated a few years ago.
House Vestan has a complicated family tree. speaking of the living part of it than. Currently Vyistros governs under Duke William Ralph Paul Vestanian (his father paulter) the second. He's a great succesor of his father because he continued the progressiveness his grandfather Nicolas brought from his predecesors. Paulter was a man of too much ambition and died when William was 19 because Paulter lost a war to gain another planet. Paulter died leading that war. But William became a Fierce force of nature and settled all conflict in al of his governing years. He repaid his debt to Queris (the planet the tried to take over) and doubled the amount of great empire/republic relationships that were considered ''Impossible to break''. William's wife Maria Kessil Vestanian came from an village in the nothern part of Vyistros where people lived the ancient way. She is quite mysterious but always contributes to comforting the Vestanians. Some say she was grown by a Silver fox and a sorcerer, and prophecies say that she has the womb to birth a child with such powers people will bow before him. Well those prophecies are probably true because nowadays there are more and more people with certain powers. Ancient prophecies describe it like it is rare and that is partially true but time has told there are a handful of supernatural beings. Like William's first born Phaistos and last born Tex. Phaistos has shown that he has no interest in becoming the successor of William. He aspires to become one of the most richest person in the entire galaxy. 2 years ago when he was 23 he started his own vehicle comapy containing on ground and off ground vehicles. Phaistos Nicolas Vestanian is not as humble as his father. Quite arrogant is an understatement.
Oressa Kostic Anora Vestanian is William's only daughter. She is creative, smart and at the young age of 21 aspires to be Vyistros next minister of culinary. She wants to dominate galaxy trade when it comes to food/drink supplies. Trying to maintain House Vestan's reputation of wealth.
Everyone in and around Vyistros has their eyes on William's youngest, Teaxisson Mobius Odysseus Vestanian. Teaxisson is named after William last general, his left hand Mobius Hydlestine. And Odysseus derives from a ancient legend. Men doesn't know where it's from but that it is about a glorious man. Teaxisson is a real warrior. He fights everyone that threatens the people on Vyistros and the traditional people have given him a name: the Texxias, because he protects their believe they say. Teaxisson beholds power unlike anyone else on Vyistros, at least as far as we House Vestan knows.
It appears that the percentage of folks who think House Vestan should retire its traditional flairs is increasing. Is William losing his what seemed forever-lasted trust from his folks. Should William betray his bloodline like other leaders have done and make Vyistros a modern republic 100% instead of ruling in an traditional area that is 25% of its planet and govern from a modern place.
What is House Vestan in desperate need of?
A new leader?
Or just a new philosophy?
