Chapter 21 - CHAPTER-21

"Tenfold Gravity Training Room?"

Luoyu blinked in surprise as he stared into his consciousness space at the object he'd just drawn from the silver treasure chest.

Instantly, he recalled a certain iconic "training chamber" from a parallel world filled with screaming warriors, exploding planets, and glowing hair.

In that world, if you hadn't trained under enhanced gravity, you weren't a real fighter.

The road to becoming a dyed-hair powerhouse practically required it!

But compared to that legendary 100x Gravity Room, this one felt like a massively nerfed version—barely a tenth of the original.

A shadow of its former self.

"So cheap... and it shows," Luoyu muttered, downing a swig of strong liquor with a sigh.

Still, despite his grumbling, his mindset quickly adjusted.

Considering the silver chest cost only a million points and only had a 30% chance of yielding cross-dimensional gear…

Pulling this item—a tenfold gravity chamber—was already a pretty lucky draw.

Besides, this wasn't the Dragon X world where people exploded planets for fun.

In the One Piece world, even a tenfold increase in gravity was already insanely useful.

The item's description even stated it was an essential tool for awakening hidden power and becoming a true powerhouse.

Just then, a sudden voice broke his train of thought.

"Admiral Luoyu… would you teach me Haki?"

Luoyu snapped out of the system interface.

Standing before him was Ain, her face full of unshakable determination despite the hesitation in her voice.

He blinked behind his gold-rimmed glasses.

Ain? Asking him for help? That was unexpected.

"You want to learn Haki?" he asked with a raised brow.

"You've trained under Instructor Zephyr for years. Shouldn't you already be familiar with Haki?"

Everyone on deck turned toward them, ears instantly perked.

Just half a day ago, they had watched Luoyu unleash an absurdly overpowering Conqueror's Haki, flattening CP9 with a single glare.

Now, hearing the word "Haki" made everyone involuntarily clench.

"Instructor Zephyr focused more on physical combat," Ain explained, her fists clenched tightly.

"Binz and I trained under him for ten years, and we've long been introduced to Haki..."

"But... we haven't been able to awaken it. No matter how hard we try."

"Admiral Luoyu, you understood Armament and Observation Haki with a single glance... even your Conqueror's Haki is terrifying."

"I'm begging you—can you please teach me?"

Her voice quivered slightly at the end, filled with frustration and desperation.

It had been two years since the disaster during the rookie exam.

She had always believed that with enough effort, she would eventually gain the strength to avenge fallen comrades and bring justice to the world.

But witnessing Luoyu's overwhelming power firsthand—

She finally understood.

Some people aren't surpassed through effort alone.

Rather than keep struggling blindly, it was better to lower her pride and ask for help.

"Armament and Observation, huh?" Luoyu muttered.

He pushed up his glasses and took another gulp of his coarse brew.

Then he shook his head.

"Colonel Ain… it's not that I don't want to teach you."

"It's just... I didn't learn the three types of Haki through training. I was born with them."

"Instructor Zephyr, as the Marine Academy's top educator, has the best training system available."

"If you're looking for a structured path, he's far more qualified than I am."

"Honestly, if you want me to guide you systematically… you're going to be disappointed."

Born with all three types of Haki?!

Everyone on deck twitched.

If anyone else said this, they'd be ridiculed by the entire internet.

But after what they'd seen—

Luoyu's monstrous Conqueror's Haki blitzing CP9?

No one dared to argue.

If that wasn't natural-born talent, then nothing was.

In fact, hearing that it was innate helped ease their inferiority complex. If they couldn't catch up, it was at least because the guy was born broken.

Inside the ship's hold, Mr. 1 finally broke his silence.

"Boss Crocodile... is mastering Haki really that hard?"

He had stayed silent even when Mr. 2 tried to free him.

But now, after everything he'd seen—he couldn't hold back his thirst for strength anymore.

Crocodile scoffed.

"In the New World, Haki is the only way for the weak to survive."

"But that doesn't mean anyone can awaken it. Even I never mastered it—otherwise that Straw Hat brat wouldn't have beaten me."

He exhaled a cloud of smoke.

"That new Admiral, though... at least he's self-aware. Marines have structured systems. Zephyr's taught for decades."

"If Luoyu had claimed he could teach this girl better than Zephyr, I would've lost respect for him."

The soft but clear words echoed over the silent deck.

Spandam, looking for any chance to reclaim a shred of dignity, eagerly nodded along.

"Is that so... even Admiral Luoyu can't teach me?"

Ain muttered, her voice full of disappointment.

Then she forced a bitter smile.

"Don't take it the wrong way, Admiral. I'm not questioning you... I just truly want to grow stronger."

"Even if I can't learn from you, I still thank you. I'll continue trying."

She turned away.

"If there's nothing else… I'll excuse myself and go rest."

She left.

And silence returned.

Even Hina and Smoker remained quiet.

They too longed to unlock Haki.

When Ain asked, they were filled with the same hope.

But… the answer was as expected.

Even under Zephyr's guidance, none of them had succeeded.

So what chance did they have with Luoyu?

Watching Ain's retreating back, Luoyu sipped his liquor and frowned.

He remembered the Tenfold Gravity Training Room from earlier.

If he recalled correctly, its description mentioned something—

"Essential for awakening latent strength."

If the system wasn't just playing word games...

It might actually help with Haki awakening.

Excitement surged through him.

He instantly pulled up the system menu and reread the item description.

As he scrolled through the detailed explanation—

A slow grin spread across his face.

System-made items really never disappoint!

Luoyu turned.

"Colonel Ain," he called out.

She froze.

"Do you want to take a shortcut to Haki?"
