Chapter 1 - A couple too nice to separate

Author Note:

Seeing that my little project created on impulse got quite an appreciation, I decided to give more attention and love to the idea of Caster Luz and Saber Amity.

Probably in the future I could create some alternative paths using a different Server from the CCH Universe

POV Narrator

Fuyuki Holy Grail War, also called Heaven's Feel, is a Holy Grail War ritual founded in the 1800s in Fuyuki City, Japan.

Established by the three founding families of Tohsaka, Matou and Einzbern, the wizarding community at large knows it as a competition to win a Holy Grail.

Seven magi are chosen by the Grail to be Masters and, with the support of the Grail, can summon seven Servants to battle.

The winning pair will, presumably, claim the Holy Grail and use it to grant their wish or wishes.

Unfortunately, things never quite worked out in this ritual.

The first two wars were spent fixing bugs in the ritual, and the first fully formed Grail War, the third, saw the summoning of the Avenger Angra Mainyu.

Tampering with the system to summon an Avengers Class Servant was the Einzbern Family's worst mistake.

Angra Mainyu turned out to be one of the weakest Servants you can call upon.

Avenger was the first Servant to be defeated in the Third Holy Grall War, then something unexpected happened.

Angra Mainyu's soul tainted the core of the Grail, turning the wishing machine into a time bomb.

It no longer matters who wins the war, all wishes made by the Corrupted Grail will be manifested in the most destructive way possible.

Fortunately for the inhabitants of this world, the self-awareness of the Grail is more developed and sensitive than normal.

The moment the Avengers was invoked, the Grail consciousness based Justeaze Lizrich von Einzbern began to work out a solution to the problem.

XXX

In a metaphysical location within the Grail, the "ghost" of Justeaze Einzbern weighs his options.

In human terms, Justeaze Einzbern resembles a young woman, with long snow-white hair, a doll-like face, red pupils likened to rubies, pale skin.

The classic perfectionist look of the Einzbern homuculus

He wears a beautiful white robe, made of gold and is gifted with seven rings which are said to have control over creation and the souls of others.

'I have managed to insert a sub-program into the grail system.

In the coming War, the King of Knights will be invoked, and the Sword of Promise Victory will destroy the corruption of Angra Mainyu.' Justeaze thinks, believing he made the best possible choice.

The Excalibur Sword is the most powerful sword that can be found in the past and future of this world.

' But are we sure King Arthur is enough?

What if the King of Knights is defeated before he can use Excalibur?' A small voice filled with doubts and insecurities appeared in Justeaze's head.

Instead of ignoring this little voice, Justeaze listens to it and imagines numerous scenarios where King Arthur cannot save the day due to circumstances or a too powerful enemy.

The self-awareness of the Holy Grall, could not allow any chance that the Avengers could destroy the world.

"I need a hero who will ensure the complete and assured destruction of Angra Mainyu.

If this world doesn't grant the ideal hero, I just have to take a hero from another world!" Justeaze proclaims, in a voice full of determination.

The accumulated energy of the previous Wars will be enough to allow the Holy Grall to make contact with the Throne of Heroes of another reality.

XXX

Heroic Spirits are spirits of heroes who have accomplished great deeds in life, having become objects of worship after their death.

They are freed from the constraints of time itself and removed from the ring of reincarnation, moved to the Throne of Heroes, a place existing outside of both the World and the time axis.

To explain this metaphysical place in the simplest and most understandable way, the Throne of Heroes is a huge library where books are the greatest heroes of humanity.

Normally, the Holy Grall acts as a simple customer who borrows the materials needed to carry out his War.

If a Heroic Spirit is a whole book, representing the beginning and end of the legend of a great hero, containing all their knowledge and skills.

Well, Servants are weaker versions of Heroic Spirits, representing only a single chapter focused on a single aspect of the hero.

In most cases, a customer (Holy Grail) would go and borrow books (Servant) from the local library (Throne of Heroes of his world).

But Justeaze Einzbern using a large amount of magical energy and managed to enter, in a different Throne of Heroes.

In a way understandable to the human mind, Justeaze Einzbern has just entered a giant library, filled with books dedicated to the heroes of this world.

The first thing Justeaze did, is find out what this "library" is called.

"CCH Universe aka Earth-2126?" Justeaze reads aloud, raising an eyebrow, not understanding the meaning of the acronym or the numbers.

The Grail's self-awareness has begun to scour the library, seeking the perfect hero for its objective.

At first, Justeaze Einzbern was not impressed, most of the Heroes of Ancient Times are quite similar or even identical to the heroes of her world, except for a few preferences…

''How come in this universe homosexuality, polygamy and deviants are more common than mine?' Think Justeaze, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

This white-haired woman has discovered that many heroes of this universe have extravagant tastes…

But things changed when Justeaze arrived in the section dedicated to modern times, discovering a gigantic amount of super-heroes.

The Americans during World War II created a super-soldier, the first Avenger, a man capable of leading an army of heroes against the enemies of humanity.

A genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist built a Power Armor in a cave out of a scrap box.

A strange girl who loves magic and her friend obsessed with mysteries have traveled to a magical realm called the Boiling Isles, where a long and complex legend began.

Four girls from Los Angeles stole a music box and ended up in a realm populated by amphibians, all to fulfill an ancient prophecy.

A pair of twins have been sent by their parents to a small Oregon town full of supernatural creatures and mysteries that need to be solved.

A scary goth girl with a lot of behavioral problems has been sent to a private school for people with supernatural abilities. In that place she made a contract with the Velvet Room.

In the city of Paris, a lucky girl has been given magical earrings, while an unlucky boy has been given a magical ring, all to battle an evil man and his cursed butterflies.

A nun named, Index Librorum Prohibitorum, she holds within herself 103,000 magical grimoires.

In a small town, a white-haired boy has five older sisters and four younger sisters, and all of them have been involved in a strange Holy Grail War.

A magical princess from another dimension came to Earth to learn, during her stay she befriended a genius little girl and her crimson dinosaur…

"This world is absurd, there are heroes of all shapes and sizes." declares Justeaze, knowing he's only scratched the surface of this encyclopedia of offbeat heroes.

The self-awareness of the Holy Grail suffers for once in its existence from the embarrassment of choice.

This Throne of Heroes is looking very different from its world's version.

Most of the "books" of the modern era are represented as Comics, Manga or Light Novels.

"Whoever designs this place's system must either be a strange person like Zelretch or deeply childish and immature." murmurs Justeaze Einzbern, looking left and right in search of the perfect hero.

Justeaze's eyes were drawn to a library consisting of books dedicated to a pair of heroes.

A girl named, Luz Noceda, and her best friend, Bruce Belmont.

The two of them seem to have obtained a privileged place within this Throne of Heroes.

" Let's see what you did to deserve your own shelf." Justeaze murmurs, grabbing the first "book", starting to read the legend of the Good Witch and The King In Black.

XXX

After a "quick read", Justeaze Einzbern has completely forgotten about all the other heroes, except the members of the Clawthorne-Noceda Family and some of their associates.

" I haven't found a single perfect hero, but I have found two, who can be considered the Enkidu/Rin and the Gilgamesh/Shirou of their eras." Justeaze murmurs, in an excited and childish tone, showing that he is related to Irisviel and Illyasviel.

"But who should I choose?" Justeaze asks, rather unsure who would be a better hero for the mission than him.

The Good Witch of Boiling Isles, can be invoked to her full power as Caster for the future Lesser Grail, without having to resort to an Extra class.

I would have enough energy left to be able to bend the rules and grant some perks.

Plus, her positive personality and benevolent disposition are a nice bonus for everyone." Justeaze Einzbern lists the positive qualities in casting Luz Noceda as the Caster of the Fifth War of the Holy Grall.

" The King In Black of Chaldea is one of the mightiest heroes of this world, a Heroic Spirit comparable to Gilgamesh, Karna, Ozymandias and Solomon.

Invoking him will consume almost all my energy and finding a suitable Master will be a feat in itself.

An indomitable soul, monstrous strength, extraordinary intelligence, far-fetched survival skills, and unmatched destructive power.

If he is summoned, it is certain that Angra Mainyu and the Grail will be destroyed, along with the city of Fuyuki and much of Japan." Justeaze mutters, trying not to think about what happens if the King In Black fights an opponent of his own level.

In short, Justeaze has two options.

Number one, a witch, with powerful and versatile magic, endowed with a benevolent and reasonable personality.

All for a mediocre energy consumption which opens up the option of a small addition.

Probability of success, with Luz Noceda in the Fourth War of the Holy Grall, plus or minus 70%.

Number two, a King who can be considered a two-legged catastrophe or a living apocalyptic event.

Probability of success, 95%; probability that it will cause mass destruction ... assured.

After a long moment of silence, the "ghost" of Justeaze Lizrich von Einzbern, has made a decision.

"The Good Witch of Boiling Isles, I pray your heart is strong enough to win the War of the Holy Grall and destroy Angra Mainyu." Justeaze said, grabbing the "book" that represents the Heroic Spirit Luz Noceda.

The will of the Holy Grall has taken the contents that can be placed in Caster's vessel.

Justeaze instead of leaving and returning to his original world with the Caster for the next War.

Justeaze stayed to fetch some extra "pages" and some material from another "book" that is closely related to Luz's "book".

'Lumity are too cute a couple to separate.' Think Justeaze Einzbern, before disappearing.

Year 1994.

In a remote corner of Germany, where winter seems to have no end, there is a castle that belongs to the Einzbern family.

Inside the castle there is a man and his wife.

The man has dark hair, a long black trench coat over what appeared to be a black suit with a black tie, a small patch of facial hair on his chin, and eyes so cadaverous, he stands before an evocative circle with what appeared to be a blue and gold colored scabbard placed on the altar.

Behind him is his wife who has snow-white hair and red eyes, and wears a white dress with yellow stripes running from shoulder to shoulder along the collar.

Husband and wife find themselves in the grandest but also the darkest place of the castle: the ceremonial chamber.

Surely it wasn't to praise the gods for favorites or to let the spirits find their peace.

As a castle of the Magi, the so-called 'prayer room' is used for the execution of thaumaturgical ceremonies through sacrificial offerings.

As such, the stained glass does not portray any saints, no, but rather the long history of Einzbern's quest for the Grail.

XXX

The dark-haired man having finished his preparations, began to recite the verses of the summoning spell.

"First, or silver or iron. Or foundation stone, or Archduke of the contract. Listen to me in the name of our great master, the Archmagus Schweinorg.

Let the descendants of the winds be like a wall. Let the doors be closed in all directions, climbing over the crown and let the streets three forks in the Kingdom rotate.

Closed. Closed. Closed. Closed. Closed. Five perfections for each repetition.

And now, let the filled seals be destroyed in my place! Set.

Let your body rest under my domain, let your destiny rest in your blade.

If he presents himself to the call of the Holy Grail and if you obey this mind, this is right, then answer.

I make my oath here. I am the only person who has become the basis of all of Heaven. I am that person who is covered by the evil of all the Hells.

That seven skies, dressed in a trinity of words, Come over your breaking rings and make hands that protect the balance! "The black-haired man spoke the last words of his magic.

Kiritsugu's vision darkens.

The Emiya family crest, passed down from generation to generation and carved on his back, began to chant the spell separately as individual entities to support Kiritsugu's thaumaturgy.

Kiritsugu's heart, in a dimension beyond his mind's control, began beating rapidly like the hand of a hasty clock.

His flesh tormented by the prana collected from the air had already forgotten its functions as a human being

Instead, it has become a component of the mysterious ceremony, a circuit that connects purely the ethereal with the material.

Kiritsugu gave no thought to the severe pain created by this discord that was enough to make one want to scream aloud, and concentrated on casting his spell.

Even the presence of Irisviel, who stands beside him holding her breath, was no longer present in his consciousness.

Thunder and lightning roared, accompanied by rolling clouds carried by a mighty wind.

In the pressure of a storm that wouldn't even allow onlookers like Kiritsugu or Irisviel to open their eyes, the evocative circle designs glowed with a brilliant light.

Finally, the magic circuits connected with the plane that is not of men... from the dazzling light that shone endlessly, the silhouette of a woman emerged.

" Servant Saber, I ask you, are you the Master who called me?" asks the female knight, dressed in blue and silver.

Kiritsugu Emiya looks at the female knight in confusion, believing he's done something wrong during the summoning process.

Before Saber or Irisviel could say anything, something unexpected happened.

The magic circle used for summoning has begun to glow once more.

Saber raises his sword preparing to defend his Master.

Kiritsugu and Irisviel prepare to flee, knowing they cannot face a Servant head-on.

"haaa!" Irisviel yells, holding her right hand as if she's just been branded by fire.

Slowly, a crimson symbol, divided into three parts, forming a sun and a moon appeared on the back of Irisviel's right hand.

"Command Seals!?" Irisviel declares, with an incredulous tone, unable to conceive the idea of having become a Master.

For the second time, the ceremonial chamber lit up, as if a flash bomb had exploded.

All Irisviel could do is squint in the direction where the light appears to be coming from.

At the center of the light display are three figures.

Two human figures and one angel-like figure.

The scene only lasted a few seconds, but time seems to have stopped in that space.

The angel-like figure has disappeared, leaving only the two human figures holding hands.

As the light dimmed, Irisviel saw that inside the circle are two girls who appear to be between 18 and 20 years old.

The girl on the left has tan skin, short brown hair, brown eyes.

She is dressed in a fancy Witch dress, colored in white and purple. The most eccentric piece of her outfit is the large pointed hat and long cloak.

In his hands is a magical staff, topped with a totem in the shape of a snake.

The girl on the right has pale white skin, lavender hair held in a ponytail, pointed ears, and golden eyes.

Her attire consists of a tiara with three pointed magenta crystals, black triangular drop earrings, a dark gray button-down shirt with gold buttons and rolled-up sleeves with matching buttons, and a black collar.

He wears a pair of brown gloves, a lavender shoulder belt with a gold adjuster, and a brown belt with a gold rectangular buckle and a round purple hip flask.

Complete this look with dark purple abomination-style pants and black high-heeled boots with his classic symbols of the moon.

"We are Servant Caster, we ask you, are you our Master?" the two women asked, looking directly at Irisviel.
