ETERNAL SHADOWS ~~ CASTLE
"Huh?"
"I said we....."
"Never said I didn't hear you. Why did you suddenly change your mind?" She asked.
"I will take you out of Garberville then you'd go back to your clan and when you go back don't try to come back here" He said and she furrowed her brows.
"I'm not understanding you. Why are you suddenly changing your mind?" She asked and he stood on the railings before coming to her front.
"Go dress up Ava" He said and tried walking past her but she pulled him back by the arm.
"I am not going to agree until you give me a reasonable reason why you don't want us to marry anymore"
"You really want to die huh?!" He snapped and she furrowed her brows..
"I will kill you sooner or later Ava and I don't want to do that so I want you to leave"
"Who said I'd let you kill me?" She asked and he scoffed.
"I can defend myself yunno" She said,
"Okay then. We're going to duel right now, I'm going to go all out and if I bring you down to the ground, you're leaving" He said and she blew out air from her mouth.
"The wedding is tomorrow, you can't just cancel it"
"I'm the Lord. I can do anything" He said and left the terrace.
She didn't even know why she didn't want him to stop the marriage. She just doesn't want that to happen and she won't let it happen.
She walked to the closet and brought out a black long sleeve cropped shirt and a black fitted jean. She took it with her into the restroom and when she took her bath, she put it on.
She came out and packed her hair in a ponytail before putting on Nike sneakers.
She went downstairs and out of the castle. She saw Lucian standing there and she sighed remembering the first time they fought.
"Lucian. Please don't stop the wedding" She said and he kept quiet.
"You won't kill me Lucian" She said but still no reply.
"Or do you want to kill me?" She asked and he turned sharply speeding to her.
"Yes Ava. I want to end you so badly" He said through gritted teeth and she bit her lips.
"Then why don't you do it?" She asked and he inhaled.
"Your kind killed my brother Ava, I can't have your kind as my wife"
"But that's just what you don't understand, I am not the werewolf who killed your brother. Not all of us are the same, you should know that!!" She yelled.
"You won't be talking like this if you know...." He stopped talking and sped out of the castle immediately.
"Lucian!!" She yelled and ran after him too. Her eyes turned golden and her wolf ears came out, her pace increased greatly as she tried to catch up to him.
He stopped at a mountain and screamed out. She stopped behind him breathing heavily.
"I caught up to you" She grinned happily and he turned a side of his face to her.
"Leave me alone would you?!!" He snapped and she smiled.
"Not until you agree not to end the wedding" She said,
"Why don't you want me to end it? You want to spend the rest of your life with me?" He asked, facing her and she blinked.
"Maybe" She said, wiggling her brows.
His eyes widened immediately and he turned around, a blush creeping onto his cheeks.
She sat at the top of the mountain staring at the sun rising. He sat beside her and she smiled looking at him.
"I don't want to go back to my clan just yet. They banished me remember and I can't go to the human world, they're looking all over for me so it's only staying here that's an option." She said,
"So if your clan never banished you, you would have gone back?" He asked.
"Nope. That place became boring since I always stayed inside or did chores or train. That's why I started sneaking out and I guess I met a nice man whom I thought was nice" She said,
"Oh"
"I used to regret having loved the guy but now I don't think I regret falling for him"
"Why do you say that?" He asked and she smiled.
"I'll tell you another time. Just please don't end the wedding" She said and he stood.
"When we marry, you'll become the queen of vampires. Meaning you'll be busy keeping things in order"
"What's your job of being the Lord huh?" She asked with a frown standing up and he smirked.
"I'll just relax and....."
"No no no! I ain't doing all those. Once I become your wife, I'm allowed to move freely in Garberville and I'll look for a job to do, you cool with that?" She said and asked.
"Maybe. Let's go" He said and sped away.
"Heyyy! Wait for me!!" She yelled and ran after him speedily.
The day went by so fast and they laid on the bed staring at the ceiling.
"Can't believe I'm getting married tomorrow" She muttered.
"We can still....."
"Oh please don't say that, I'm just shocked" She said and he exhaled.
"There's no going back Ava. You really need to think this through" He said and she turned facing him.
"Is there something you're hiding from me?" She asked.
"I just...." He stopped and closed his eyes.
"Let's sleep" He said and she stared at his face.
'Do you really want to do this Ava?' Her subconscious mind asked.
'Yes and I know you want to do that as well!'
Ava smiled before closing her eyes.
Lucian's eyes opened and he looked at her.
THE NEXT DAY ~~
Ava was seen sitting in front of the mirror as Gorya did her makeup.
"I'm so happy for you Ava" Gorya said and Ava smiled.
"Why would you be happy, I'm just marrying him because of the deal we made" She said..
"Whatever, I am still happy to have a sweet werewolf as our queen" Gorya said and Ava blushed..
"But be careful Ava. A lot of enemies are coming to you soon, if you aren't strong enough, you won't be able to overcome them" She said and Ava smiled.
"I know. As long as I have you as my wonderful teacher and Lucian as my soon to be husband, then I'll be fine" Ava said.
"We won't be with you all the time Ava!" Gorya said and Ava looked at her.
