Kaida moved as Isaac stood back, defending the disciples who were making sure the siblings were okay; Isaac was about to call out for Kaida, but before he could, Kaida had already disappeared in a flash.
Her leg moved and slammed directly towards his head, with him moving and grabbing her leg. He threw her down to the ground, and she hit it full force. Her body clearly hurt, but she got up as quick as she was pushed down. She stepped back, waiting for his movement, but around her, Qi danced. It looked black, though hidden under it were white dots dancing around her like an aura certain people had. She moved her hand and smacked directly towards him, though nothing seemingly went his way.
"You're wasting your time protecting that Sect. They're not great at all."
SMACK!!!
From above him formed a ball of Qi, which flew down at full speed, crashing right into his back and causing some damage, but he regained composure, still floating; but from the time distracted, Kaida jumped up, grabbing his leg and using it to pull herself up and kick his head, She let go of his leg and reaching higher after hitting the man's face. He stumbled back.
He looked clearly annoyed, and in a swift movement, he moved quicker than she expected, even faster than Akari, as if he hadn't even Accelerated or moved; she felt something was disturbed in the place. He skipped feeling distorted. But she couldn't think about it for long and got punched by him into the wall; she moved quickly, balancing herself and moving with her legs connecting to the wall, yet at the same time, his hand burned bright only to turn different colors, reaching a lightish purple color.
Kaida bent down as his punch struck the back of the wall, and with that, it completely shattered the concrete, which was already enhanced by Qi to make it more durable. The heat was something even she could feel; Kaida moved as fast as she could, creating a blade out of Qi and slashing directly from above to him as he retracted his arm with a smirk.
The man noticed it and quickly stepped back through the air.
"You should give up; I'll wipe all of you corrupted people off this planet before going for the Empress." His Qi flared up as the top part of the building burned even further.
Kaida, on the other hand, jumped down from the wall she was attached to and looked as if Isaac had helped the siblings and the other disciples escape and was going to come and help her. Her hand moved, and the Qi, which was dancing around her, formed into a spiral formation, sending out tiny dots of Qi that expanded into blasts. Yet, he could dodge them effortlessly due to his clear physical advantage.
But, with a dark object at the center moving closer, then moving back, it had whipped him around it and thrown him towards her, using some sort of gravitational pull. He had then moved his hand to pull the Qi blasts back from where they were flying.
"...If you're going to monologue, earn it." Her hand moved, coated in Qi, slamming into the back; apparent damage was done as the Qi flew directly toward him as well. But, before she could-
He vanished once more to the side as the Qi flew towards her hand and hit it directly there. The Qi coating provided some protection, but her hand broke from the sheer force and began to tear apart. The skin. Even the Bones cracked.
{"...Shit."}
["Accel-"]
{"No, Wait."} Kaida thought to herself while speaking to Cinder.
He looked at her with a calm look. "Why don't you go to my side and help? You seem powerful and highly talented. I'm Alaric Schwarzfeuer."
She stared for a second, her flesh regenerating and her bone healing back in place. It was quicker than the last time she broke this arm, and it felt like it was cursed.
{"...He erased the interval of his starting position and destination... So it took zero time; clever. It seems that people do appreciate science here. And his name is... Fitting for what he acts like."}
Isaac, in a swift movement, had formed a blast of Qi in the form of a beam towards the Alaric. Yet the Qi beam, though it hit him, didn't simply hurt his physical body; it bypassed his core with enough force to start damaging it. Alaric sent back flying, hitting the wall, as he hadn't expected Isaac.
Alaric spoke once more. "Soul Rooted, How troubling. I'll deal with you first." He moved to send out another attack towards Isaac this time- But before he could, Kaida moved her hand and sent a splice through space and stepped through it and moved right above him randomly, though almost hitting the roof with her head; in that, she moved spinning and slamming down with her leg against his head, now enhanced physically with Qi making her attack threefold's stronger.
A single hit sent him crashing to the ground with enough force to destroy the entire building, but instead, it concentrated on her leg, which was both being protected and empowered by the Qi.
"Be ready for any counters!"
Kaida looked up, hearing Isaac, who shouted at her and then back down at Alaric while her leg was in some pain from the attack. Even with how powerful it was, she couldn't just take it that easily, especially since it was three times stronger than her own physical body.
Kaida stepped back, looking down, and stared as the dust cleared. She noticed movement, and then, suddenly, she saw two more people running in the same direction, wearing clothing similar to what they had worn underground. They were probably on Alaric's side.
["You've gotten stronger, Kaida. A higher realm and your proficiency is growing as well, you might reach Expert."]
{"Expert?"}
["I forgot I need to explain to you. Look, you're proficient with the sword. The stronger it gets, the harder it'll be to fight you with a sword; at Expert, you'll also get a Sword Aura, which enhances the blade and can rain down blades and extend it, like how Akari did."]
{"Ah, Alright."} Kaida moved quickly as a blast of Qi flew up to hit her while she was distracted thinking to herself.
Suddenly, she watched the two people running over jump up to grab her, though she swiftly moved back through the air and swung her blade once more, the sound of something happening in her ears. She looked around frantically as she heard another voice.
{"Why don't you let me take over~?"}
{"Are you going to ruin my reputation in any manner?"}
{"...No, I just wanted to fight. I haven't done so in a long time."}
Kaida Pondered it while the two of what seemed like Underworld goons took out their blades, slicing from each side; Kaida slipped through between them and swung her blade right at their legs and cut their heel to cause as much damage as she could without killing them. They were the only Foundation Establishment like hers.
Both of them lost balance and fell to the ground, only for Kaida to be punched directly in the back of the head and sent flying through the building from sheer force; it had to have been Alaric.
{"Screw it, Sure, take over... ████."}
A change in Kaida's expression. She moved up and, in what felt like an instant, moved towards Alaric. A punch which, while also enhanced with Qi, moved a lot faster than he expected; she hit him directly in the solar plexus, sending him flying with her, looking a... Smile?
"Come on, Fight back!" She felt very different. Taunting him, and with that, he became more agitated, and with that, his attacks a little more sloppy.
From his sloppy movements now, she could dodge them easily. He sent a punch towards her shoulder, dashing to the side while moving, and her legs attached to the wall; she launched herself, causing the part of the wall she landed on to collapse as she slammed her leg directly at his ear with the sound of a crack.
His skull was clearly damaged, and instead of being sent flying from the force, Kaida redirected it into his own body, causing even more damage, including internal bleeding.
{"...████ could you calm down a little?"}
{"Sure."} Her hand moved and roughly grasped his hair and threw him down towards the other two disciples before taking a breather. Her Qi was nearly exhausted, with barely any droplets of it left.
She switched back, Kaida blinking and floating down softly with her head dizzy. She looked over at him, her head held by her hand somewhat.
{"You stopped them; now there's going to be consequences."}
{"Why didn't you talk it out with them?"}
{"You shouldn't have saved them; it was a waste of time."}
Kaida shook her head, hearing the voices repeat with other methods she could've dealt with this predicament. She tapped the ground nervously with her mind flooded with this sensation; she couldn't handle it; more and more voices flooded her mind; it wasn't Schizophrenia, she knew it; she'd dealt with it for long before that. And it wouldn't get this bad. Isaac stood there to call her out, but she couldn't hear him; she shook her head violently.
Her mind filled with more voices, enough to fit an entire cruise.
{"Last time I came down, this didn't happen; why now..."}
["What's wrong, ma'am?"]
{"I'd tell you, but I can barely keep my thoughts coherent."}
Kaida would have looked over at Isaac, still dizzy, and left with him quickly. He was trying to talk to her, but Kaida signaled she couldn't hear him right now. At least in some form, pointing at her ear and shaping an X with her fingers. Once he understood this, he nodded, with her following right next to him. Though her mind drifted. The sound of speaking gets louder.
{"Why are you trusting him so easily?"}
{"He feels odd; why follow him? Go somewhere else!"}
Kaida just let it continue, at least for the time she was traveling; she didn't want to be a nuisance. Finally, once they reached the Sect, she could see the giant writing in Chinese, which translated to 'Waning Sky Sect.' And with that, Kaida jumped up. Walking inside before just letting herself fall down with the sound of talking in her mind only getting louder. But since she felt Isaac touch her back, she looked towards him, who was looking exceptionally annoyed.
"Fine, I'll get up..."
Kaida slowly got up, stretching, her ears ringing from the annoyance, and the more she pushed it back, the harder it tried. Every step felt painful; she let Isaac submit to it, and whatever they'd get for this would have appeared to them equally. Kaida ran as quickly as she could, even with the feeling of millions of needles poking her skin just for moving.
{"Maybe I shouldn't have let her fight for me."}
Finally reaching her home, she stumbled inside, looking at Bear, who was asleep, and Vael spinning on the stick that had been stuck into the wall before. She moved down, petting Bear's head softly, and went to the kitchen only to see that the plates were washed in the sink, multiple, so Wenxu had fed Bear. The sky became darker. So it was clearly becoming nighttime, and Kaida moved upstairs, stepping inside what looked like a bedroom and dropping into the bed, letting herself rest.
Kaida's eyes drifted shut as her body turned to lie on top of the blanket. Even if she wanted to have it covering her, it was somewhat hot outside, but she didn't care much about it.
["I'll be making a barrier around you just in case since you're in a vulnerable position."]
Kaida gave a thumbs up, barely able to make a coherent thought.
