Chapter 1 - The Cave

Friday, May 10, 2013.

The sky had turned black with rage. Heavy clouds smothered all sunlight. Suddenly, an unfamiliar kind of rain began—silent, yet chilling to the bone.

The streets were empty. Human voices seemed lost behind the walls. The city itself felt like it was breathing under a deep silence. It was a holiday, but everything was unnaturally still.

Amid the sound of rain and distant, muffled thunder, something unknown was awakening… something that could only be felt, not understood.

There was a boy, around fifteen years old. He was staring out the window. Suddenly, his eyes caught a man in a coat and formal pants, holding a beating human heart in his hand. The boy trembled in fear.

Just then, his mother called out, "Yan!"

Startled by the sound of her voice, Yan turned away—but the man had vanished without a trace.

That night, Yan went to bed. As soon as he closed his eyes, he felt something strange, like someone was sitting near his feet.

There was a man, silently sitting at the edge of his bed. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring, handing it to Yan.

He said, "Keep this with you, always."

Fear and mystery merged into the darkness of the night.

Scene Change:

Inside a cave, an old scholar sat in deep meditation on a stone slab. Ancient scrolls and cryptic symbols lay scattered around him. Sweat beaded on his forehead—as if he could feel the movement of some invisible force.

Suddenly, the same man in the black coat appeared at the entrance of the cave and attacked. He grabbed the scholar by the throat and pushed him back. The old man quickly began chanting a mantra aloud. Using his energy, he defended himself.

Rising to his feet, the scholar spoke, "You have returned… Van."

Van slowly walked toward an old wooden box. He reached for it and tried to open it—but he couldn't. Inside the box was a dagger—the very thing Van wanted.

But his body wouldn't cooperate. Some invisible force had bound him. He was like a shadow, his real body sealed inside stone.

Failing to retrieve the dagger, Van disappeared, just as silently as he had arrived. Silence once again consumed the cave.

The scholar staggered toward the box, holding onto the stone wall for support. In his eyes, flickered a shadow of the distant past.

[Many years ago, this cave had been the sanctuary of an ancient monastic order. They had forged a special weapon to resist the forces of darkness—a dagger called "Bloodstain Dagger"

This dagger wasn't made of ordinary metal. It had been forged from meteorite alloy—its power existing somewhere between illusion and reality. It could wound not only flesh but also the soul.

The dagger had once belonged to a guardian family, passed down through generations. But one day, a member of that family—Van—grew greedy for power and tried to take control of it.

His soul was twisted upon touching the blade, and his body was trapped inside stone. Since then, Van had existed as a shadow, endlessly roaming, drawn to the dagger's power.]

The scholar closed his eyes. A soft mantra passed through his lips. "Je ka nam... Bloodstain Dagger... Secret Power…"

The box lid slowly closed by itself.

Whispering under his breath, the scholar said, "Van has returned. But now… everything depends on the boy—Yan…"

Yan's Room:

Yan was fast asleep. Suddenly, he felt like he couldn't breathe. The air in the room had grown heavy. The curtains were swaying on their own. The ring on his table started spinning by itself.

Yan woke up. He saw a faint mist had filled the room. Within it, stood a figure—a pale face, black eyes, and a strange smile.

The figure slowly said, "Your time has begun, Yan…"
