Synopsis
Born with the blood of both the Uchiha and Senju clans, Chiba should have been destined for greatness. Instead, he was treated as an outsider—rejected by the Uchiha, denied a surname, and shunned by all of Konoha. His strength was feared, his loyalty doubted. To them, he was nothing but a ticking time bomb. When he finally walks away from the Hidden Leaf, they call him a traitor. But none of them knew the truth—none except Kushina Uzumaki , the only person who ever showed him kindness. And from the moment she saved him, Chiba began to plan everything. Now, the so-called traitor returns—not with hatred alone, but with cunning, secrets, and power that even the Yellow Flash can't outrun. They called him a rat. Now he'll show them what a rat can really do.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Witness

"Again, that ominous thing appears."

"Heh, even though he carries Uchiha blood, he's still just a stray dog!"

"Shhh, are you looking for death? If they hear you, you might end up in jail."

"A descendant of rogue ninjas. He'll definitely become a traitor too. The Hokage is simply too kind for taking this guy in."

...

Chinya walked with his head slightly lowered, his expression dark as he moved through Konoha's streets.

It had already been nine years since Chinya arrived in this world, and five years spent within Konoha.

Over those nine years, Chinya went from being excited to feeling full of resentment.

Just as those villagers mocking him claimed, Chinya carried Uchiha blood.

However, the Uchiha refused to recognize him.

To protect the purity of their lineage, the Uchiha practiced endogamy exclusively.

His parents weren't both Uchiha.

His mother was Uchiha while his father came from the Senju, carrying their bloodline.

If his father had just been a regular civilian, maybe life wouldn't have been so harsh. Maybe the Uchiha would've accepted him then.

But fate dealt him the worst hand possible: his father came from the Senju, the Uchiha's historical rivals.

When the Uchiha clan elders discovered Chinya's mother was pregnant with him, they immediately confined her and demanded she abort the child.

Upon learning this, Chinya's father sneaked into the Uchiha compound, took his mother away, and fled Konoha.

The Uchiha naturally couldn't allow Uchiha blood to be lost outside the clan, immediately reporting this to The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Hiruzen immediately declared his parents rogue ninjas and dispatched Anbu to hunt them down.

Nonetheless, Chinya's parents successfully escaped, settling anonymously in a civilian village without Ninja. There they lived happily together for four years after Chinya's birth.

Those were the four happiest years of Chinya's life.

But misfortune eventually struck.

A group of ferocious beasts invaded the village. Without any Ninja to protect it, the village had no way to resist these monsters.

Chinya's mother was forced to activate her Sharingan, fighting off these creatures alongside his father.

However, this incident planted the seeds of disaster.

Like hyenas sensing prey, various Ninja soon tracked Chinya's mother down, coveting her [Sharingan].

In the brutal battle that followed, Chinya's father sacrificed himself defending both Chinya and his wife.

Chinya's mother suffered grave injuries as well, barely managing to push herself upright long enough to send Chinya to Konoha, pleading desperately for shelter.

Hiruzen agreed to her request. Though Chinya's parents were rogue ninjas, they hadn't committed any acts harming Konoha. Additionally, containing bloodlines from both the Uchiha and Senju clans meant there was potential for awakening a [Kekkei Genkai] in the future—it couldn't be allowed to remain outside Konoha.

So Chinya stayed in Konoha.

Hiruzen assigned someone to take Chinya to the Uchiha compound, inquiring whether they would accept him, recognizing his Uchiha heritage.

But the Uchiha rejected Chinya's claim to being one of them.

Thus, after assigning Chinya a shabby house, Konoha completely ignored him.

In fact, Chinya didn't care much about this.

He clearly understood the conflict between the Uchiha and Senju Clans. It was normal for the Uchiha Clan not to accept him since he carried the blood of the Senju Clan.

At that time, unaware that his parents were rogue ninjas, Chinya had thought everything would get better after arriving in Konoha.

Chinya naively believed that as long as he wasn't associated with being a jinchuriki, the villagers in Konoha would at least treat him kindly. He wanted to start a new life.

But later on, Chinya was completely broken.

Because nearly all villagers hated him.

Eventually, Chinya figured out why the people of Konoha hated him.

Firstly, because his parents were rogue ninjas.

Secondly, it was due to the Uchiha Clan—in precise terms, the Konoha Military Police Force controlled by the Uchiha Clan.

At this point in time, the Uchiha Clan's prestige and power had reached its peak in Konoha thanks to their control of the Military Police Force.

The primary duty of the Konoha Military Police Force was maintaining internal security and stability within the village. They were responsible for formulating village rules, enforcing and maintaining order and peace in Konoha, and arresting those suspected of criminal activities or ninja crimes.

The arrogant Uchiha Clan would even arrest someone immediately just for criticizing them, labeling such individuals as having criminal tendencies.

This caused extreme hatred towards the Uchiha Clan among the villagers.

However, the Uchiha were powerful and influential—the largest ninja clan in Konoha—so no one dared provoke them.

And this resentment was redirected toward Chinya, a child carrying half-Uchiha blood who didn't even have a family name.

Chinya wasn't Naruto; he lacked Naruto's unwavering compassion.

Living in such an environment for five years would shatter anyone's mental resilience, no matter how optimistic they once were.

Chinya just couldn't understand how Naruto had grown up in this kind of environment from childhood yet still chosen forgiveness.

As for the villagers, that was one thing—but even Hiruzen Sarutobi wasn't as kind, tolerant, and compassionate in reality as Chinya remembered.

During these five years in Konoha, Hiruzen had witnessed more than once Chinya being bullied by villagers. Yet each time, he simply glanced at Chinya and left without saying a word, pretending not to notice and simply walking away.

Gradually, Chinya became convinced that Hiruzen's kind appearance was nothing but an act.

Now, Konoha felt like a prison to Chinya — but one he couldn't escape.

Because Konoha wouldn't let him leave. Even if Chinya somehow could flee, he lacked the strength to protect himself.

Although Chinya now saw Konoha in an extremely negative light, he had to admit that, for him personally, Konoha was the safest place.

Chinya was fully confident he could change this situation someday.

Yet this confidence didn't come from his Uchiha or Senju heritage.

With only half of each lineage, Chinya might never even awaken the Sharingan or Wood Release kekkei genkai in his entire lifetime.

Instead, Chinya's advantage was a system known as The Witness System.

By witnessing events, he could earn Witness Points.

However, activating The Witness System required a prerequisite of 100 Witness Points.

Over the past five years, Chinya had only managed to complete 50 out of the necessary 100 Witness Points.

That came mostly from Chinya entering the Ninja Academy three years ago and witnessing Minato Namikaze's enrollment—which scored him 50 Witness Points.

But when it came to the other 50 points, nothing Chinya did worked.

This was entirely due to Chinya's awkward status in Konoha, which prevented him from accessing other events.

Besides, this was a time of peace—long after the Third Great Shinobi War—so there weren't many events for Chinya to gain Witness Points from.

Just now, an opportunity was about to come Chinya's way—the arrival of Kushina Uzumaki in Konoha and her transfer into the Ninja Academy.

By witnessing Kushina Uzumaki's enrollment, he should be able to obtain the remaining 50 Witness Points and finally activate The Witness System.
