Chapter 53 - Chapter 53 Zombie Island? Not a Good Place to Go Ashore

After speaking, Luo Feng also began to focus on his own task—expanding his raft.

Tang Xuewei, who was rowing the oar, nearly dropped it in shock upon hearing Luo Feng's words.

She knew just how massive Luo Feng's raft was. The fact that he was still worried about not having enough space for supplies was enough to make anyone feel inadequate.

However, having spent so much time with Luo Feng, she had grown accustomed to his capabilities and had somewhat adjusted to his way of thinking.

So, she began steering toward the large treasure chest.

Tang Xuewei knew Luo Feng loved opening treasure chests. If she could bring this one to him, it would surely make him happy.

Meanwhile, Luo Feng started working on expanding his raft.

His raft was already enormous to begin with.

Luo Feng's raft, a Perfect Grade Raft: 10*10

An average person's raft, a Common Raft: 2*2

At this point, most people's rafts barely had anything on them besides a single person and a Throwing Hook.

Luo Feng's raft was 25 times the size of an ordinary person's.

Yet, even under these circumstances, Luo Feng was still concerned about running out of space for supplies.

As he worked on the expansion, Luo Feng took a moment to glance at the 9527 chat channel.

There had been some subtle changes—now, the channel had a prefix, likely indicating it was the dedicated chat for their 9527 Sea Zone.

Luo Feng didn't know exactly how many such sea zones existed, but based on his past gaming experience, these zones were probably similar to beginner villages in online games—low difficulty, designed for newcomers to develop and grow.

Once players had progressed enough, they would likely advance to higher-level sea zones.

At that point, people from different zones might even cross paths.

But that was a matter for the future.

For now, the primary goal for most was simply survival.

It had already been a full day and night since people were thrust into this oceanic game.

Many had managed to gather some resources, but quite a few had also succumbed to thirst or hunger, unable to endure any longer, and had jumped into the sea to end their suffering.

Luo Feng could only sympathize—he was no saint, nor would he freely give away his own food to strangers.

At this point, he opened the trading platform to see what people were exchanging.

However, based on his earlier experience with the Treasure Map Fragments, he knew some players would never put truly valuable items up for trade.

They were probably still clinging to the hope of collecting all the fragments themselves and hunting for treasure.

[Excellent Grade Raft Plank Blueprint] — Trade for [Wood40]

[Good-grade Spear Blueprint] — Trade for [Wood20]

[Inflatable Doll Blueprint] — Trade for [Food*3]

[Wei Ge1] trades [Good-grade Spear1]

[Jumping Orange1] trades [Fruit10]

After seeing these trade items, Luo Feng was truly amazed by the sheer variety—there was everything imaginable.

All sorts of bizarre things were being exchanged.

Luo Feng was certainly broadening his horizons.

However, the Item Levels of these goods weren't particularly high. So far, not a single Perfect Grade or above item or Item Blueprint had appeared.

Even Perfect Grade items were few and far between.

After all, not everyone was as overpowered as Luo Feng. Most people obtained low-level items from Common treasure chests.

Then, Luo Feng turned his attention to the chat channel.

"Why can all of you get food and water, while I haven't obtained anything so far? Not even a treasure chest—I haven't even seen a single piece of wood!

Is this because my luck stat is only 2?

I was already unlucky enough in the real world. How come I'm still this unlucky in the game world?"

"Brothers, does anyone have an item to enhance that aspect? I could really use one. If this keeps up, I might not last much longer.

As for payment, we can split any fish I catch 50-50."

"Damn, you dare show your face again? I tried your method.

If I hadn't slipped and fallen, I would've been scared out of my wits.

Hurry up and give me a few fish as compensation!"

"I'm the unluckiest one here! I found an island and excitedly went ashore, but as soon as I landed, I got so scared I ran away.

Guess what I saw?

A horde of zombies—exactly like the ones in Resident Evil! It was terrifying.

Luckily, I ran fast, or I might've been done for."

"Damn, bro, you didn't get hurt anywhere, did you? If you're injured, speak up fast—this virus is contagious."

After reading these messages, Luo Feng noticed one person mentioning the discovery of a Zombie Island.

Seems this guy had pretty good luck.

Now, as more people discovered islands, Luo Feng grew even more curious about the islands listed in his Myriad Islands Illustrated Handbook.

He still wanted to explore all kinds of islands properly.

Luo Feng didn't idle around either—he started bulk-purchasing Time Accelerators.

As the Item Levels of the items people obtained improved, some began realizing the importance of Time Accelerators.

After all, time was extremely precious now. The sooner they could craft high-level items, the faster they could stockpile food and supplies in the early stages.

This time, Luo Feng managed to acquire a total of ten hours' worth of Time Accelerators, which satisfied him.

The only thing that displeased him was that he still hadn't obtained a Time Accelerator himself. Otherwise, with his God-level Billion-Fold Reward System, triggering even a modest multiplier would ensure he'd never run short of Time Accelerators.

Just as Luo Feng was about to close the chat channel, he suddenly spotted a new message.

Zhang San: "I saw a huge trail on this island, over a meter wide, most likely left by a Big Snake."
