Chapter 42 - Chapter 42: Heads Like Watermelons? Shatter at a Touch (5/5)

Luo Feng saw the arrows flying toward him and immediately accelerated, causing all of them to miss their mark.

Moreover, with strong winds blowing across the sea, these arrows had little effect.

Seeing how determined the other side was to kill him, Luo Feng no longer hesitated.

He took out his Legendary Grappling Hook and hurled it toward one of the men.

The speed of Luo Feng's Legendary Grappling Hook was incredibly fast—within seconds, it had already reached the island.

The men were terrified when they saw a massive hook flying toward them, scattering in panic. But this was a Legendary Grappling Hook—once someone entered its ten-meter range, escape was impossible.

Horrified, they watched as the hook seemed to have a mind of its own, homing in on one man before clamping onto his head.

The moment the hook seized his head, the man screamed in terror and pain, "Brother Hao, save me! I don't want to die!"

Wang Hao was also startled by the situation and didn't dare approach.

But he knew that abandoning his teammate and fleeing now would only make things worse once Luo Feng reached the shore.

Thinking quickly, Wang Hao shouted, "Stay calm! While he's still on the raft, focus on shooting him down! If we kill him now, there's nothing to fear. If we run, he'll pick us off one by one. Xiao Zhao, grab a knife and cut the rope to save Xiao Li!"

The group had been in complete disarray, but Wang Hao's words snapped them back to focus.

They had followed his leadership before, going from starving to amassing plenty of resources. So they still trusted his judgment.

Without hesitation, Xiao Zhao grabbed a large knife and rushed toward the grappling hook.

Meanwhile, the remaining two men and Wang Hao, seeing the approaching raft, wasted no time and began firing arrows frantically.

Among them, Wang Hao had practiced archery before, and with the Superior Grade Bow, his accuracy was decent.

One of his arrows even landed on Luo Feng's 9x9 Giant Raft.

Frowning, Luo Feng couldn't help but wonder—why were these people so fearless, so determined to kill him?

This was his first time encountering them. Why were they so eager to take his life?

If Wang Hao and his group had never killed before, they wouldn't have made such a ruthless decision upon first meeting.

But four people had already died by their hands.

That experience had left a deep impact on them.

Under extreme circumstances, people's personalities can change drastically.

After all, very few can kill and remain completely unfazed.

Deep down, they were extremely worried—what if others discovered their secret?

This was precisely why they were determined to kill Luo Feng.

However, Luo Feng couldn't care less about their concerns.

Since these people insisted on taking his life, Luo Feng naturally wouldn't hold back.

So, he commanded the Legendary Grappling Hook to retract.

The person caught by the Legendary Grappling Hook was swiftly dragged toward the sea.

Xiao Zhao could only watch helplessly as Xiao Li's body was pulled into the water.

Once Xiao Li's body sank beneath the surface, the seawater suddenly turned crimson.

Xiao Li was dead.

Then, the Legendary Grappling Hook returned to Luo Feng's hand.

Washed by the seawater, the hook remained as pristine as ever.

At this moment, Luo Feng felt little emotional turmoil.

Now, he wanted to know why these people had tried to kill him, so he didn't immediately strike again.

The four men on the island were utterly terrified by Luo Feng's actions.

They didn't dare make another move.

Luo Feng's Wooden Raft moved swiftly, and soon, he reached the shore.

Standing at the edge, Luo Feng spoke coldly, "Drop your bows. Don't make any sudden moves, or my grappling hook will fly again."

Hearing his words and seeing the exquisitely crafted hook in his hand, the men froze in fear.

To them, Luo Feng now seemed like a demonic killer.

From nearly a hundred meters away, he had effortlessly taken out one of their companions with a single strike of his hook.

It was horrifying.

Trembling, all four of them lowered their bows.

As Luo Feng approached the island's edge, Wang Hao could clearly see the massive Wooden Raft behind him, piled high with fruits and food.

But when his gaze landed on the two Great White Shark carcasses, his heart skipped a beat.

A name flashed through his mind—Shura.

Hesitantly, he stammered, "Are you... Shura?"

Luo Feng was taken aback. How am I this famous? he wondered. Two random groups, and both recognize me?

But when he noticed their awestruck expressions, he understood.

His raft, loaded with mountains of food and the two shark corpses—only Shura could have amassed such resources.

His expression darkened. "If you knew I was Shura, why attack me? I never provoked you. Yet you tried to kill me?"

Wang Hao suddenly broke into a nervous smile. "Great Shura God, this is all a huge misunderstanding! We've heard so much about you—we've always admired you! We were just... joking earlier. We never imagined your skills were this incredible. No wonder you've gathered so much in such a short time!"

Luo Feng sneered inwardly when he heard their words. Those people had all fired at him, and now they were claiming it was just a joke. Did they really think Luo Feng was a three-year-old child?

Thinking this, Luo Feng spoke expressionlessly, "Just earlier, I encountered three people."
