Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Perfect Quality Light Bulb (2/5)

[Excellent Grappling Hook] [Perfect Quality Light Bulb] Trade [None]

Tang Xuewei was currently tidying up her wooden raft, which had become somewhat disorganized after her battle with the Great White Shark.

Upon hearing Luo Feng's words, she paused her movements, and two new items appeared before her.

When she saw the Perfect Quality Light Bulb, her eyes lit up—she hadn't expected such a high-quality item to exist.

With this, her nighttime activities would become much more convenient.

Moreover, the Excellent Grappling Hook was also an incredibly useful tool for her. With it, her speed in salvaging items would significantly improve.

Thinking this, Tang Xuewei felt overjoyed and said, "Luo Feng, you're truly amazing.

Meeting you out here on the ocean is such a blessing."

Hearing Tang Xueying's words, Luo Feng pondered for a moment before smiling and replying, "You've already agreed to marry me—isn't it only natural that I treat you well?

I'm just a little worried… what if we run into Tang Xuewei out here on the ocean?

Normally, she doesn't let you date or interact too much with guys.

If she finds out about us, she might not be too happy."

Tang Xuewei's expression darkened at his words. Was this really how Luo Feng saw her?

After a moment, she said, "How can you say that about my sister? She's not like that at all—she's actually quite easygoing.

If you spent more time with her, you'd see her good qualities.

Don't worry, she's actually very reasonable. She's always been good to me, and if it's something I truly want, she'll support me.

Our thoughts are actually quite similar—we share many of the same hobbies and preferences, so you really don't need to worry too much."

Luo Feng felt a headache coming on as he listened. It seemed Tang Xueying really had changed.

This line of thinking was dangerous.

But if things really were like this… it might actually be a blessing.

The only downside was that he might start suffering from face blindness.

Luo Feng didn't dare dwell on it too much and quickly shook off the thought.

Something this good… he had only ever dreamed of it.

With that in mind, he said, "Don't worry too much. If she does enter the ocean world, I'll help you find her so you two can reunite."

By now, the sky was gradually darkening.

It wouldn't be long before night fully fell.

Given the circumstances, Luo Feng decided to stop salvaging for the day.

After dinner, he planned to rest up—tomorrow, he would set out for that island.

What could he possibly encounter there?

He just hoped it wasn't one of those ridiculously overpowered islands from the Myriad Islands Illustrated Handbook—otherwise, exploration would be impossible.

As for why Luo Feng was confident about reaching that island, it was because people in the chat channel had already started trading Paddle Blueprints.

Normally, without paddles, these wooden rafts could only rely on waves to move, which often meant unpredictability—since the direction of the sea breeze was random.

But once paddles were crafted, everything changed. You could now steer in any direction you wanted.

So tonight, Luo Feng wasn't in a hurry anymore.

Just as he was about to take out dumplings to cook, he suddenly heard Tang Xueying's voice.

"Luo Feng, do you still have any bananas? I'm thirsty."

Luo Feng's expression shifted slightly—her words sounded a bit ambiguous.

Even if he wasn't a seasoned veteran in such matters, his mind couldn't help but wander after hearing that.

Still, he knew Tang Xueying definitely didn't mean it that way, so he replied, "Sure, didn't you just eat some? You're craving more already? I'll send them over now."

Luo Feng still had plenty of bananas left—he had obtained a hundred in one go earlier, so there was enough for both of them in the short term.

With that in mind, he didn't hesitate and immediately sent the bananas to Tang Xueying.

Truthfully, Tang Xuewei had no choice. Working nonstop on the open ocean under the scorching sun left her parched.

Plus, the bananas Luo Feng had given her earlier boosted her stamina, so she had already used them up while working.

That's why she had asked now.

Once she saw Luo Feng had traded the bananas to her, she stopped overthinking it. She peeled one and slowly ate it.

After finishing, she sighed contentedly. "I'll rest tonight. Tomorrow, with the Excellent Grappling Hook you gave me, my salvage speed will improve. I'll fish up more treasure chests to repay you."

Luo Feng nodded. "Sounds good, but stay safe. If you run into a Great White Shark at night, it'd be dangerous. I've got plenty of food here, so I'll try something different tonight. After eating, I'll head for an island tomorrow. Do you see any islands around your area?"

Suddenly, Luo Feng realized something—he had already confirmed Tang Xueying's direction, which pointed toward that island.

If there was an island near her, wouldn't that mean they could meet soon?

Hearing this, Tang Xuewei grew curious. Encountering an island in the middle of the ocean would be incredibly lucky.

After all, humans were land-dwelling creatures. Staying on the ocean indefinitely would feel unnatural.

With that thought, she stood up and scanned the horizon but found nothing. Disappointed, she said, "I don't see any islands here—just some floating debris."

Luo Feng wasn't surprised to hear Tang Xueying say that. After all, one's vision is limited, and it might be impossible to see things at a great distance.

However, Luo Feng had a Legendary Telescope, so he didn't need to worry about such things.

His Legendary Telescope still had two minutes of viewing time left. He would use it after finishing the tasks at hand.
