Evan blinked his eyes. There is a reward written on this. He's not tired or seeing things right? He squints a little, trying to re-read what he had just seen.

What in the world is that reward?
It sounded familiar somehow. Where did he hear that? Evan paced a little, eyebrows furrowed as he thought about it.
"Eyes to a Seer. Eyes to a Seer..." Evan repeats to himself.
His eyes widened a little bit when he remembered the words he had to read every time he needs entry.
He had it memorized by now, but the second part of the poem was what his focus was on.
"'Passage through the ancient arcane,
Broke each person, all insane,
Hunters to a prey, jumping to the fray
Rewarded the Eyes to a seer, seeking the all-seeing.'"
While Evan says the words out loud, he heard Iva following along to recite the words too, creating a weird echo both from what Evan could hear from his ear and from his own head.
'Seems like the very same thing you keep reading every time you come back is a clue huh~?' Iva's sing song voice broke through the silence.
Evan hums in response. "From the many times I come here, I would be surprised if I don't have it memorized. It still doesn't make sense though. Do you know anything about it? It's not going to give me actual eyes would it?"
'Dunno!' Iva replies, almost immediately. 'Poems from long ago can serve as riddles that either has a solution or just serves as something you should not take literally. It's just a clue. I don't think either of us would know what it would be, until you get rewarded for it.'
Evan looks at the panel. Iva's right. The only way to find out what it was is to try and do he quest and finish it. What can he even use to write continuously on the walls?
"It doesn't say anything specific on the quest. It just said writing equipment that can do uninterrupted lines. So, nothing that is directly ink because it dries too fast and it needs to be dipped again..." Evan closed his eyes.
The only thing that comes to mind is the broken pieces of plant pots that Evan keeps to use as chalk on the rough ground back near his best friend's house. It isn't ink and it might be possible to use that continuously.
Or at least he hoped so.
He took a deep breath. "Yes, I accept." He says to answer the question.
After replying, the panel closed on its own and reopened. The duration on it got updated. It now says the same limit as the main quest he had.
Evan would have to try and find out how to he can accomplish both before the time ends. He still has a week, but he also has no idea how long each path will take.
Finally, he is down to the final panel. He closed the accepted side quest panel and began reading the last one.

Evan hums as he narrowed his eyes. The other side quest mentioned a reward. He does not know what exactly it meant, but it mentioned it. This one didn't.
Still, there would be a reward once he did it. He remembers that he had done the Slime Dungeon one. He had some idea that the next dungeon he will have access to would be the frogs. Other than that, he has no idea.
Though unclear, Evan decided to accept it. It's not like he will get any downsides if he does not accomplish it.
"Yes, I accept." He replies.
The panel closes for a moment and re-opens, just like it did for the other side quest panel. It didn't really update anything other than a list of progress of the unlocked dungeon, the slime and the frog listed while the others were in question marks.
Evan sighs after closing the last panel. He wasn't expecting to get so many of those panels today. But he can't deny that he is just as excited now as he was when he got his new Cure ability from earlier.
"Summon Pet Iva." He grins as he summon Iva.
The faint light appears on the ground as Iva the slime appears.
"Why am I summoned? Are we finally going?" Iva asked. For a slime, it looks both annoyed and resigned.
Evan nods his head. "We're going to the left path, finish as far as I can and then go back. Remind me every 30 minutes, like we agreed."
Iva bounced up to rest on his shoulder. "Sure, as long as I don't have to move that much. I don't think there would be any fighting in this path right?"
Evan shrugs as he began walking forward to the left branching path. "I don't think so either. But there's only one way to find out, right?"
He began to lead it towards the familiar path he had taken after the day he won against that Shadowling. It's time to see just how far his current willpower, intellect and perseverance can really take him.
