Chapter 28 - The recreation

Scene: Silence After the Storm

The battlefield was unrecognizable.

Where once there had been multiverse-shattering chaos, now only silence remained.

The skies above were a deep crimson — not from war, but from the afterglow of energy so vast, even space had wept.

At the center of the broken ground, beneath the open sky, stood Marine.

She knelt beside Kai's body, her father, motionless, pale — his armor cracked, his hands scarred.

Her fingers trembled as they brushed his chest, waiting for breath, for movement… for anything.

Marine (softly):

"Did you make it, Papa…? Or did you just stay long enough to see me rise?"

The only reply was the whisper of the wind.

But Marine didn't cry.

She stood.

---

Scene: Ascension

Her hair rose with the breeze.

Her eyes glowed like suns birthing galaxies.

Her Aether Core now pulsed not from within… but through the fabric of the cosmos.

She floated upward — higher, past the broken sky, until she stood above the remains of existence.

Then, she spread her arms.

And began to recreate everything.

---

Scene: The Recreation of All Things

Marine didn't just remake the universe.

She remade it beautifully.

From her fingertips bloomed:

New galaxies of spiral flame and soft blue clouds.

Stars that danced with rhythm instead of explosions.

Worlds with life that breathed in harmony, without fear.

Solar systems with music, multiverses bound not by logic, but by peace.

Each creation was drawn from her memories, her hopes, and the love her parents had left in her soul.

For every star she lit, one tear from her heart returned as light.

The multiverse did not simply recover.

It was reborn — gentler. Kinder. Wiser.

---

Scene: The Return of Kazuya

From the edge of the void, where emptiness once reigned, Marine reached back with one hand.

Her Core glowed.

A thread of silver Aether reached into the timeless abyss.

And from it, Kazuya emerged.

No longer corrupted.

No longer cursed.

He stood in silence, looking at her with wide, astonished eyes.

Kazuya:

"Marine… I…"

Marine (smiling faintly):

"You came back. You always protected me.

Now let me protect what's left of you."

He dropped to one knee, overwhelmed.

But she lifted him to his feet.

Marine:

"There are no kings now. No demons. No hunters.

Only family."

---

Scene: A Final Conversation

As the skies began to settle and stars found their place, Marine turned one last time toward her father's resting body.

She approached, slow, sacred.

But as she knelt beside him again…

Kai's eyes opened.

Her breath caught in her throat.

He smiled weakly — and slowly pushed himself to sit up.

Kai (softly):

"I knew you'd shine.

But you didn't just shine, my star…

You became the sky."

Marine rushed forward, hugging him tightly, her tears finally falling.

Marine:

"I missed you. I needed you. You stayed. You stayed…"

Kai pulled her back just enough to look her in the eyes.

Kai:

"It's time."

Marine (shaken):

"No. Please— don't go. Not now…"

He placed his hand over her heart.

Kai:

"Your soul is whole now.

Mine… is ready to rest. With her."

---

Scene: The Light Arrives

The sky above opened once more — but this time, not with void.

With light.

A pillar of white-golden Aether descended, silent and soft.

At its center stood a figure, arms open, eyes gentle.

Sophie.

Her soul, radiant and waiting.

Marine stepped back, hands trembling.

Marine:

"She's here…"

Kai (with peace):

"She waited. All this time. And now that you're safe…

I can go."

He kissed Marine's forehead.

Kai (whispering):

"You are the future now.

Shine so bright that even death feels like sunrise."

And then, he stepped into the light.

---

Scene: The Goodbye

Marine watched as the light ascended, carrying her father — the warrior, the villain, the protector — into the arms of the woman he once lost.

As they rose, Sophie looked back at Marine, smiling, her lips forming one final word:

> "Thank you."

And then they were gone.

---

Scene: The Dawn of Soularis

Marine stood alone — not as a child anymore.

She was now the Core of the Cosmos.

The one who held light and dark in balance.

With Kazuya and Isaka beside her, and stars waiting to be born, she whispered to the universe:

Marine:

"This is not a beginning.

This is Soularis.

And we… are the ones who remember."

And above her… the first new sun rose.
