Chapter 16 - 16. Five Minutes

After nightfall, Rudolph lay comfortably in the bath.

The warm spring water was steaming, making Rudolph feel comfortable all over.

He heard footsteps, but did not open his eyes, thinking that there were other customers in the bathhouse.

The footsteps stopped beside him, and Rudolph opened his eyes and saw someone handing him the wine that he had placed on the shore.

Rudolph took the wine and turned his head in confusion.

"Captain, when are we going to catch the werewolf?"

Rudolph looked around in shock, his face full of astonishment:

"This is the men's bathhouse! You! You...how did you get in?"

The wolf girl Yvonne had cut her long hair, but her face was very delicate, full of collagen, and she still looked like a woman.

"It's past midnight, and you're the only one in the men's bathhouse." Yvonne had no psychological burden about this: "And, don't many men come in with the bathhouse maids?"

Rudolph felt that Yvonne had gone crazy, and she kept talking about killing werewolves.

He raised his head, wanting to scold this farm girl who knew nothing.

But the moment he saw Yvonne's eyes, Rudolph was stunned. He saw red bloodshot in Yvonne's eyes.

There was a patch of bright red bloodshot around the blue pupils. Perhaps, this is hatred.

Rudolph took a sip of wine, then put the glass on the shore, no longer looking at Yvonne, nor blaming her. If the farm family was still there, then Yvonne should still be the little girl who learned to help her parents.

"Tomorrow we will go to the Elk Tribe... They said they would give the sheriff an investigation report, but it has been almost a week and they still haven't handed it in."

"Okay! I'll go prepare the horse!" Yvonne was very happy.

  "Just prepare it tomorrow!"

Obviously, Yvonne didn't want to listen to Rudolph on this matter.

Not long after, Bass, the owner of the bathhouse, entered the bathhouse.

"Hey? Where's the policewoman just now? Rudolph, are you so fast? Is it five minutes?"

"Fast?" Rudolph didn't react at first. When he reacted, he stared at Bass and said, "Even if it's only five minutes, I won't be here for five minutes! Keep a record of tonight's consumption!"

Rudolph is a particular person. He always pays for his consumption, unlike the cousin of the mayor's nephew, who only keeps a record.

Bass was so scared that he hurriedly added wine for Rudolph: "No, no, no! I just hung up the sign of closing the business to provide you with convenience. How can you keep a record of this?"

The next day, Rudolph should thank Yvonne for not knocking on his door early in the morning, which made him sleep well.

After breakfast, Rudolph took his guns to the backyard of the police station and found that Yvonne had prepared horses. In addition to guns, Rudolph also brought 3 wolf poison potions, which he made with the hidden level 1 wolf saliva. The wolf poison potion was packed in an aluminum wine bottle.

She was already sitting on the horse, and Rudolph's horse was ready. I don't know when she finished all this, it shouldn't be too late.

  Rudolph rode on the horse.

  "Let's go! Goddess of Vengeance!"

Yvonne was very satisfied with this title, and the two of them left the police station.

This time Rudolph brought enough weapons.

Yvonne also had a shotgun, but it was obvious that Yvonne didn't take these bullets very seriously.

After leaving the town, Rudolph said: "Yvonne, you have to learn to use firearms. This is a disguise for you. You are now a trainee patrolman. In Leman Town, you are not a werewolf."

After hearing what Rudolph said, Yvonne studied her shotgun seriously.

Rudolph prepared 2 shotguns, 6 alchemical shotgun shells, 12 ordinary shotgun shells; 2 revolvers, 18 alchemical bullets and 30 ordinary bullets.

Although this time I just went to the Elk Tribe to ask about the situation, it's always better to be careful.     Not long after leaving the town, Rudolph suddenly heard the roar of a tiger, which scared him.

He looked in the direction of the sound and found that it was the circus coming from another fork in the road, also preparing to leave the town.

The tiger was locked in a cage, roaring because the space was too small. There were also a few children following the cage, reluctant to leave the circus.

Rudolph stopped his horse: "Captain Seco, are you leaving Leman Town now?"

"There is no way, the circus needs to perform everywhere. Staying in one place all the time, the audience will soon get tired of it."

Rudolph was looking for the clown Cooper in the circus.

Cooper also saw Rudolph, the hateful patrolman who killed his beloved dog. He turned his head and immediately hid at the end of the team.

Rudolph didn't like dogs and had never raised small animals, so he couldn't understand Cooper's current mood.

"Good luck to you! I also want to wander around like this, it sounds very romantic!"

Rudolph really envied the life of the circus. At least he could see around. He really wanted to know what the world was like.

After traveling through time, Rudolph has not really understood this world, and has not even been to the city of Fabro.

Looking at Rudolph and the other person going away, the clown Cooper walked out from the back of the carriage. For some reason, he always wanted to avoid the patrolman. On the one hand, he hated it, and on the other hand, it seemed to be fear.

The Druid Elk Tribe was in a forest. Rudolph and Yvonne did not go to the forest immediately.

Yvonne said that she wanted to see her home first.

As they got closer to the farm, Yvonne talked more and more.

"Do you think the new farmer will treat our former home well?"

Rudolph did not have the heart to attack Yvonne, even though the house was almost demolished by the werewolves and only pillars and beams were left. A house like that could only be used to make a fire after it was demolished.

"Do you think there are sheep on the farm again?"

The previous cattle and sheep became food for the werewolves, but I don't know if the werewolves are still hungry.

"I know there is a very interesting whirlpool at the waterwheel. I often throw leaves into the whirlpool by the river."

If I remember correctly, Rudolph has seen a waterwheel that has been pushed over.

Near dusk, Rudolph and Yvonne finally arrived at the farm.

Yvonne did not dare to go forward, but only looked at the farm from afar.

The house was still just pillars and beams. There were no cattle or sheep on the farm, but there were occasionally hares. As for the waterwheel, half of it was still lying by the river, and the other half was washed away by the river.

Obviously, the druids had not found a new owner for the farm.

Now the wilderness was in chaos, and all kinds of news and rumors were flying around. No one wanted to take over a dilapidated farm this winter, at least they would wait until spring, when the farm could be sold for a good price.

Yvonne sat under a tree, looking at her home from afar.

Rudolph had nothing to do, and was bored taking care of the horse.

Five minutes, ten minutes, half an hour, one hour, two hours...

Rudolph and the horse no longer wanted to see each other. The horse thought the rider was simply boring. Why did he always adjust his saddle? The more he adjusted, the more uncomfortable he became.

The sun was already red, and Rudolph had to remind her softly: "It's almost night, Yvonne..."

In the wilderness, night means danger.

"Three minutes, no, five minutes, please, Captain...

This is the last time I will come back to see my home..."

Please read, collect, recommend, support, and protect the young seedlings~
