Far away in another galaxy, the vast gleaming chambers of the Accord headquarters were bathed in the light of distant stars. Banners representing the five head civilizations brought under the Accord's rule draped across the walls. At the center of the chamber was a long polished obsidian table.

Seated around the table were four holographic figures cloaked in darkness hiding their features—each heads of powerful empires and worlds of their own and a head member of the Accord. Their holographic projections flickered slightly as they began to talk.

"Why have we been summoned so urgently?" One of the holographic projections, a bulky alien man with purple eyes and a deep voice calmly asked.

"I was told it was an emergency, but no one seems to know the details." Another projection, an alien with numerous insect-like appendages and a raspy high-pitched voice said.

"If this is another fucking routine check-in, I swear..." A projection of a short young alien woman with a tail that seemed to be alive, slithering slowly around her body said.

"Hush. Seraphine wouldn't call us here unless it was important." The final projection, a hooded alien woman with orange eyes and amethyst star shaped pupils said.

Before any of them could continue, a ripple of energy passed through the chamber as the two large gold and black doors opened.

Walking in was the leader of the Accord, Seraphine.

She was an elf, with ears slightly longer than Elara's. She had black horns that protruded out of her temples and curved behind her head. She was tall and beautiful with long pitch black hair that stopped to her upper legs. It seemed to sparkle as if there were tiny stars trapped in there. Her face was peach colored, but the majority of her body was draped in a sleek golden fabric, which glistened faintly as if woven from the very stardust of the universe.

Despite all that beauty… her amber eyes held an unsettling coldness beneath them.

She walked over to her large chair at the end of the table and sat down gracefully before speaking.

"Thank you for gathering on such short notice. Let's not waste time. We have... a matter to discuss."

Her voice was… motherly. The type that makes you feel comfortable… that makes you feel loved.

Beside her stood Aleron, her trusted bodyguard and the head of her military. He also was an elf with shorter ears. Tall, dark chocolate skin, and dark golden eyes. He had a face so handsome, it could probably turn most desert worlds into water worlds. His golden armor gleamed in the little light from the stars in the night sky that peered in. He was silent, stoic, his hand always resting close to the hilt of his sword.

His eyes, however… were fixed on the far side of the room, where a hooded-masked figure stood.

The masked individual said nothing. Their presence was like a sleep paralysis ghost in the corner of the room, one that you could see, but do nothing about. A person of power, maybe… but one whose identity and intentions remained unknown yet… so close to Seraphine.

Aleron hated this.

"My lady, we've been hearing rumors. Is it true? Have they really found... another human?" The insect-like leader asked.

At the word human, a ripple of unease passed through the room.

Each of the holographic figures exchanged glances. The next moment, a projection of Kaito after his battle with Dargan came to life at the center of the table. All of the leaders stared at him, each processing the sight of the creature they thought was extinct.

The very creature… they feared.

Seraphine smiled slightly as she leaned forward, resting her chin lightly on her hand. Her long black fingernails with tiny sparkles like her hair, rested right below her eye as she stared at Kaito's projection.

"Yes. His name is Kaito." She said calmly.

"How could this be my lady? We were assured they were... extinct." The same leader replied.

Seraphine's gaze shifted lazily to the insect-like leader. There was a hint of amusement in her eyes.

"It seems you've underestimated the tenacity of the human race." She said to him in a way a parent would lightly scold their child.

"B–But my lady. You promised us that humanity was no longer a threat to our plans!"

Seraphine's smile widened.

"Humanity is not a threat... unless we allow it to become one."

Her attention shifted from the group as a new holo-figure joined the meeting next to Kaito's projection. It was an alien man dressed in black clothing from head to toe. The only thing that was visible was his pitch black eyes. His name is Adder and he's Seraphine's top recon agent. He bowed low before addressing her.

"Lady Seraphine, we've confirmed it. Farro… was the man who took in Kaito, and was the one responsible for hiding him all these years in an orphanage on the lawless planet of Thaloria in the Sirius star system, just outside of our territory in the Viridion galaxy. The same galaxy as the humans' homeworld called Earth."

Elsewhere

In a funky dark wet room in an uknown location in Thalos was the oily fight organizer from the fight club. He sat chained to a metal chair, breathing heavily as blood trickled from his split lip. Various alien rodents and bugs scurried all around the room.

Behind him, a group of Accord recon members stood silently.

Adder leaned forward to the purple bastard's ear and whispered.

"Let's start again. Kaito… what do you know?"

He shook his head wildly, tears, snot, blood and his bodily oil flying everywhere as he spat out his words.

"I told you… I don't know! He disappeared after that fight! I–I haven't seen him since! He's just some stupid human kid, you think I care what happened to him?!"

The agent's expression didn't change, but a flicker of something dark was in his eyes.

It was a sadistic look of joy.

He reached behind him and pulled out a karambit-like knife. The blade was longer than the oily man's head.

In one swift motion, he swung the knife casually across his face, cutting the pupil of the poor purple bastard.

He screamed in agony… but he couldn't do anything. He was tied up. He couldn't even close the eye that got cut. That's because Adder was holding his eyelid open, forcing him to endure it.

All the bastard could do was endure… but for how long?

"It seems you misunderstand the position you're in. We know you let him fight in your pit. We know you paid him scraps, kept him as nothing more than a spectacle. Tell us who he spoke to. Every name, every place. And maybe…" He leaned closer to his face, a sick smile forming.

"Maybe you get to keep your other eye. What do you think… friend?"

"Pl–pl–please… he was just a kid! He didn't talk much… just some old man from the orphanage—Farro! On the outskirts of the city! H–he took the kid in! That's all I know, I swear!!" The bastard cried out, tears and oil streaming out one eye… and blood out of the other.

The agent straightened up, glancing at his companions. He gave them a nod and they vanished into the darkness of the room. He looked back to his purple play thing and began to speak.

"You've been… helpful. But I wonder… just how much more can you take?"

The bastard's good eye widened in terror, realizing that mercy was not an option.

Back to the Accord

Seraphine's expression didn't change. She remained composed.

"Farro, hmm?" She muttered to herself.

She began to play with her long black hair and chuckled as if she was thinking of an inside joke. She turned her head to the masked figure across the room.

"We'll send your team to the orphanage. Use that place to meet up with Adder and his team on Thaloria immediately. Eliminate Farro... and everyone else inside. Understood?"

The masked figure nodded without saying a word.

"The children, my lady?" Adder asked, his projection still bowing.

Seraphine's smile didn't waver a bit as she looked at his projection. It remained gentle, almost loving as she spoke again.

"All of them. No exceptions."

There was no hesitation in her voice, no remorse. Her decision was absolute, and not a soul dared question it further.

No one could see it, but beneath Adder's mask… he was smiling. His projection flickered away. Seraphine's eyes drifted to Aleron beside her.

"Gather Myzen and his team. I want him to bring Kaito to me… alive. Tell him that this is his final chance." She instructed him calmly.

Aleron gave her a slight bow.

"Yes my lady." As he was bowing, he briefly glanced over to the masked individual standing in the far corner.

He couldn't see, but he could sense it clearly. Whoever was beneath that mask… was staring right back at him.

A short moment passed before Aleron seemed to teleport away, leaving a gold dust in his place that eventually faded away.

She turned her attention back to the leaders as another projection came to life on the table next to Kaito's. It was Elara. All of the leaders directed their attention to her projection.

"This elf is an S-ranked star traveler known as Elara the Destroyer. She's an Eldariin elf…" Seraphine stated calmly.

All of the figures seemed to stiffen as soon as they processed her words.

"An Eldariin… elf? Y–You mean, one of the core elf races? On this side of the universe!? But how!?" The insect-like leader asked, his projection visibly trembling.

"I'm not sure, but what I do know is that she's a graduate of a particular star traveler academy. One that produces some of the most powerful warriors this universe has ever seen. My very own alumni. The same academy a certain someone you're looking for attended… King Taeron." Seraphine said as she looked over to the bulky alien man projection with purple eyes.

His eyes began to glow purple as he stared at the projections of Elara and Kaito.

"I see… so that's where you've been hiding… Talon." He muttered to himself.

"This emergency meeting is adjourned. With the presence of Elara and possible presence of Talon, striking swiftly to retrieve Kaito and the fragment will be futile without proper preparations. We will continue to monitor and discuss further details and plans once my teams have made contact. " Seraphine instructed.

The figures all stood and bowed before they began to log off, their holograms flickering out one by one until it was only her and the masked person. She looked over to them and smiled before speaking.

"You see... Kaito's existence wasn't supposed to be known, but now that it is, it makes things a lot more interesting… don't you think? How about we finally allow him to meet his true family?"

The masked figure remained silent, but there was a faint shift in their posture—a clear sign that they heard her words loud and clear. They turned around and began to walk out the large doors.

As the chamber emptied completely, Seraphine sat alone by the obsidian table. She had a faint smile on her lips as she gazed at Kaito's holographic picture.
