Chapter 1 - Bounded! {1}

Everyone has someone important to them.

Someone they'd do anything to keep by their side—even if it means lying, pretending, or hurting themselves just to feel that person's warmth one more time.

In a dim, messy apartment that reeked of loneliness and dried-up dreams, I lay wrapped in a thin, tattered blanket like a cocoon for someone who no longer wanted to hatch. Cup noodle containers piled up in the trash—the only evidence of recent meals.

Once, I was a bright prodigy. Just a shell of a human being.

I let out a sigh, my dull green eyes scanning the cracked screen of my phone. Motivational quotes filled my feed, the kind people post to trick themselves into believing everything will be okay.

"If you work hard enough, you'll achieve your dreams."

Bullshit.

Dreams don't come true because you work hard. They come true if you're smart—if you're lucky—or if you have someone to fall back on. Working hard was useless without wise decision it's like trying to build a mountain one grain of dirt at a time. Useless.

I used to be someone.

Talented, handsome, athletic. Even without trying, I scored perfect marks, won medals, and caught eyes wherever I went. My lean frame, raven-black hair, and striking green eyes

But looks couldn't keep you warm at night.

Not when you're all alone.

After my parents died, the world grew cold—and so did I. Friends, teachers, classmates... none of them ever really asked if I was okay. Not once. They backed away like grief was contagious.

I stopped talking.

Stopped trying.

And eventually, stopped caring.

A blinding light tore through my ceiling—no, through reality itself. I thought it was just my phone at first, but no… it wasn't technology. It was something else. Something that grabbed me, shackled me, and yanked me from that tiny, suffocating world.

When I opened my eyes again, I was standing in the middle of a bustling city.

The sun was too bright, the air too clean, and the crowd too overwhelming. My stomach churned, and nausea hit like a wave. I stumbled back, bumping into strangers—humans, elves, even dwarves. None of them wore anything resembling modern clothes. Robes, armor, fur-lined cloaks—like I'd stepped into a medieval fantasy novel.

No... this isn't Earth anymore.

I hadn't talked to anyone in years. Not since I was 16. The memory of that last

conversation was enough to make my chest tighten. Now, surrounded by this alien crowd, my breath quickened. My body trembled. I couldn't do it.

I ran.

I didn't stop until I reached the edge of the city and collapsed near an old stone bridge, hidden in a quiet corner. My hands were shaking. My knees buckled. I vomited into the river, bile mixing with panic.

After what felt like hours, I calmed myself enough to think. Somehow, I understood the language people were speaking. That made things easier… sort of. Money, culture, power structures—they were all different.

I didn't have a goal. I didn't have hope. But I had to survive.

Weeks passed. I learned to suppress my anxiety just enough to function. I rarely spoke, and when I did, it was short and quiet. But I was observant. Focused. I learned fast. I memorized local herbs, identified high-value items, and chose the most profitable routes through markets and forests.

That's how I found out I was in the Auspicious Kingdom, one of the three dominant powers on this continent. The other two were the Starless Kingdom, cloaked in mystery and feared by most, and the Sword Kingdom, renowned for its warrior elite.

I didn't know much about them yet. Just names. Whispers. Hints.

Still, I managed to rent a small room on the outskirts a creaking wooden apartment with a single bed and a cracked desk. It was barely livable, but it was mine. I didn't sleep much. My body couldn't afford it.

This world had its own power system. Sixteen tiers of strength, known as Rank, spread across multiple disciplines—Swordsmen, Mages, Assassins, and more. Spells, skills, and mana were real. But I hadn't seen them myself. Not yet.

I was deep in a familiar forest, gathering herbs like I always did. I'd memorized every trail and knew this place was free of dangerous beasts.

That's when i saw someone

She stood between the trees, her short white hair glowing like moonlight through the canopy. Graceful, elegant—almost surreal.

Her eyes were a stormy gray, soft like clouds yet piercing. Her skin was fair, her figure curved in ways that didn't seem fair to the laws of nature. But what truly caught my attention were her ears—fluffy, snow-colored, twitching slightly.

And her tail. Long, silken, swaying behind her with restrained excitement. Like a predator who had finally found a delicious, long-lost prey.

She was panting—injured, yet powerful. Her flushed cheeks betrayed exhaustion, but her eyes… her eyes locked onto me with hunger.

I froze. Every instinct in my body screamed to run. But I couldn't move.

because of fear and uncertainty her aura was not ordinary i could feel it

A strange pressure surrounded me. My knees buckled. It felt like the air itself was bending to her will. Her presence was overwhelming, terrifying... divine.

She smiled it was very charming and seductive one that would make any Men Kneel before her

In that silent, tense moment, She suddenly Pounced at me

The forest, once quiet, was Now Filled of Unspoken Desire That Raven Nash would've even dream of happening
