In the far future the blue light of computers buzzed and dinged as two men were hard at work. They were putting together a large machine consisting of a icosahedron surrounded by a framework of metal bars meant to contain it. The man with snow white hair unbefitting his age put the final piece in place with a snap and stepped away.
"Thawne... i think we did it." The man said as if he couldnt believe his eyes.
"We built a machine that will give us insight into the speedforce!" Thawne exclaimed as he day dreamed of being just like the scarlet speedster, his idol.
"Yes... we did." The man said as he looked over at his partner who although didnt help much he did help a little so he is grateful.
"Turn it on!" Thawne quickly exclaimed.
"Yeah!" The man exclaimed as he rushed to his computer inputting a bunch of information before the machine begins to whirr to life.
The inlayed lines on the skeletal frame begin to glow with a blue light and the core begins to levitate. The inlayed lines on the core begin to glow blue and release many different colors of electricity as it spins and hums. However soon something goes wrong and the lights turn red before the core flares with red and black electricity before lashing out at thawne with its energy. Thawne is thrown back colliding with the wall behind him and slumping down unconscious.
"Oh my god, Thawne!" The man yells before rushing over to his aide.
Before he can help Thawne stands back up in a burst of red lightning and begins to thrash around the laboratory at blinding speeds before slowly halting in front of his partner.
"You're..." He tries to utter more words but he stands flabbergasted.
"Fast, im fast!" Thawne exclaims.
The men imagine the things they could do with this but they're on different pages.
"This is amazing!" The man yelled.
"Spectacular even!" Thawne exclaimed.
"This is the single greatest invention of the century!" He exclaimed as he thought of all the good he could do.
"Imagine all the things i could do with this!' Thawne exclaimed.
"Imagine all the people we could help with this!" He exclaimed in response.
"W... what do you mean, what are you trying to say?" Thawne asked.
"Isn't it obvious? This machine turned you into a living near fuel less generator, just the electricity coming off of you could power a city and this machine... despite energy being cut off from it, it refuses to turn off and its enerfy levels are not dropping... we just made a limitless energy source!" He exclaimed in explanation.
Thawne's face contorted into contemplation and stood in silence for an awkwardly long time before another word was spoken.
"No." Thawne uttered before he burst forth with a rush of lightning clasping his hands around the mans throat.
"No, i need this to stay quiet, privatized... so i can be the fastest man alive so i can be the successor to the flash!" Thawne exclaimed as he began tightening his grip on the mans throat.
"Tha- wne..." His partner gasped as he began to lose air.
Thawne just glared at him in silence as he crimson lightning coursed through his eyes. Soon after the man began to turn purple and he gasped and clawed frantically but to no avail. Eventually the light faded from his eyes as he attempted to gasp his last breath and his body collapsed to the ground having dripped some nasal blood onto Thawnes hands.
"Eugh, disgusting..." He said as he began to wipe it off.
"Paul~ guess who convinced your boss to let your baby boy and oh so loving wife visit you during work hours~" A woman sang as she walked through the automatic doors laying sight onto the fresh murder scene.
The scene quickly filled her vision as dread hatred sorrow and worry filled her heart and she started to run away but Thawne quickly rushed at her in a burst of ceimson lightning but missed and crashed through a window. He began to free fall as he watched the fround quickly get closer.
(Okay i started 13 floors up and i have currently fell 3 floors in the past 1.37 seconds so my needed speed should be about this)
Thawne quickly calculate the speed he needed to run and safely ran to the bottom. He looked back up at the window he fell through and began to climb the stairs. The mother quickly began running down the stairs going down a couple floors when she hears a rapid thump. She quickly taps her watch and when he makes it to the floor she's on he looks around but finds nothing. He rushes up to the higher floors in search of her.

She quickly rushes further and opens a door revealing a room with a large device and a big red button. She runs up to thedevice and begins to type into the computer next to it when the baby begins to wail.
"Shhhh don't stress your little heart, everythinf's gonna be okay my baby boy~" She whispers as she finishes inputting the data when she hears the crackle of lightning behind her.
She spins around and gets grabbed by the throat and lifted by Thawne.
"Did you really think you could escape the fastest man alive?" Thawne mocked.
"No- as a matter of fact i did!" She chimed.
Thawnes hand began to vibrate and he attempted to plunge it into her stomach when he boot slams into his jewels. He lets go of her as he hunches over causing her to fall back onto the button and both she and the baby disappear.
In the year 2006 she and her baby reappear in front of a large fancy home. She tries to walk towards the home but drops to her knees as a jolt of pain washes over her. She looks down at the source and finds a chunk of her stomach missing. She crawls through the rain towards the steps of the home with every ounce of will power she has and upon reaching it she punches the door with all her might. A middle aged couple opened the door only to find a baby in the arms of his dead mother as blood leaked out of her body and into tbe rain.
