Liu Mengmeng picked up another card and viewed it's information, according to it after this card is used, depending on luck, a random Super God level or above Martial Soul will awaken during the awakening ceremony.
No other information can be seen, so she used the card and it turned into light spots and merged into her body but she doesn't feel anything. It seems she has to wait for Awakening ceremony before knowing her Martial soul.
Liu Mengmeng soon saw a girl with light pink hair coming towards her so she closed the panel and looked towards her. The girl sat by her side and kept talking about random things.
Liu Mengmeng listened carefully and tried to extract some information but how much can a child in orphanage know. After listening for a while, she came to conclusion that there is nothing useful but seeing the girl talking with great enthusiasm, she didn't interrupt her.
From her scattered memories, others seems to call this girl Dongdong. And the girl seems to be only one who has good relationship with her in past two years and who took good care of her otherwise a mentally ill girl can't live a proper life without others help.
"Thank you for taking care of me, Dongdong." Liu Mengmeng said suddenly.
The girl paused suddenly and looked towards Liu Mengmeng and when she saw her clear eyes and lively look, she said in surprise, "Mengmeng, you called my name. Are you alright? Wait for me here." She said and ran towards the orphanage building.
Soon the girl came back with a old woman, who was Dean of the orphanage. The old woman took a careful look at Liu Mengmeng and inspected some things with her soul power. Soon she seem to confirm something and hugged Liu Mengmeng tightly in her arms.
"It's good. It's good. You are better now." The Dean said with tears in her eyes. As Dean of one of the orphanage in Martial Soul city, she can become Dean here because of her deep love for children.
She was quite distressed seeing Liu Mengmeng earlier but mental injuries can only be healed with passage of time so she could do nothing apart from taking extra care.
"Mengmeng, you are getting better at right time. Tomorrow, awakening ceremony will be held at our orphanage. Originally I was hesitating about letting you participate but now there is no problem." Dean knelt down and said softly.
"Awakening ceremony?" Liu Mengmeng asked in a confused tone. Even if she knew everything, she has to act ignorantly as she shouldn't know about these things normally.
"Mengmeng, everyone in our Douluo continent has a Martial soul of his/her own and normally they are awakened at the age of 6." Dean tries to explain in simple terms and continued, "After you have awakened your Martial soul, there will be further studies accordingly."
Dean didn't explain too much about innate soul power. She knew that majority of children in the orphanage will not have innate soul power as they were originally living in village and there parent don't have any powerful martial soul or innate soul power. Most of the children without soul power will be included in logistics department of Spirit Hall.
After talking about few things Dean went back and the girl Dongdong stayed with Liu Mengmeng. They played together for a while, had dinner and then Dean and other orphanage staff sent everyone to sleep early so that they can be ready for tomorrow's ceremony.
Next day, after everyone has washed up and had breakfast, they gathered in the hall. There are about 30 people who were 6 year old and lined up to awaken their martial souls.
It was Dean herself who was standing at the front and will awaken martial soul for everyone. She placed six stones on the ground in a formation and asked the the standing in front to come, "Boy, come and stand in the middle of the six stones."
After the boy came to the specified position, Dean continued, "Everyone, don't be afraid of anything happening next."
"Green Wood Tiger, Possessed"
After Dean finished speaking, a phantom of tiger with green colour and black stripes appeared behind her. The green tiger possessed her and Dean's image changes from kind looking to fierce.
Liu Mengmeng at the back of everyone was surprised to know that the martial soul of Dean turned to be a tiger. She thought Dean's martial soul would be some soft looking beast or plant type. The six soul rings, two yellow, two purple and two black indicates that the Dean is Soul Emperor.
After the boy calmed down a bit, Dean sent the soul power to the six stones and light spots entered the boys body. The boy raised his right hand and a energy body gathered on his hand.
