Violet's Story flew off of the shelves and within just a few months after I published the book one could see what Violet was envisioning. A world that is changing for the better. Police forces investigated Count Treece, Duke Demetrius, Doctor Stirling, the headmaster and the rest of the faculty in league with them at the academy and found them guilty of crimes related to dark magic and were sent to a special prison. The police normally wouldn't have put so much effort in for a woman, but since dark magic was involved they took the case very seriously.
They found during the investigation that they used hair as a medium for the dark magic to link the spell and that was why Violet reacted that way around Rose. The count's plan was to make Violet ostracized by her peers and prey on her negative feelings from having no support from bullying Rose and have the boys torture her repeatedly with no one to help her to feed his vitality. The orphanage that took advantage of Rose's powers sold her hair to them. They performed the spell at the academy in the locked basement where there were many active dark magic spells shining an ominous purple light with some hair on some and dust and blood everywhere. The dust in the spell circles seemed weird though as if it may have been a human at some point and their bodies disintegrated/burned or something. This is why Violet's curse was strongest at the academy. Apparently they have been doing this kind of dark magic for several years now and that is why the rate of graduation among women was so low in recent years. This apparently was the first year they used more than one spell at the academy. The main one they used influenced the boys' negative emotions and amplified what they felt in their hearts to make them lash out at the women attending the academy to force them out.
Ren, since his father was arrested, was then raised to the position of Duke. He is now living his best life with all of the ladies fawning over him. He learned quickly that women love a feminist man. Mia and Heather dropped out of the academy and took all of the lyrics Violet wrote down for them and they became famous bards. They are really successful in the capital and women everywhere are feeling more empowered. Women are learning that just because men treat them as less than doesn't mean that they have to accept it. Mia and Heather are actually going on a tour soon. The rest of the girls in the academy are staying enrolled and finishing their education in a now safe environment. Nurse Joy and Doc got married during this time and they are already expecting. What it means to be a woman to all of the women in this world have changed after reading our story. They feel empowered as they should be. Women everywhere chanting the words Violet made the girls in the academy say at the end of every self defense class. I am a person! I am fierce! I am beautiful! I am many things!I am a woman!
