Chapter 1 - Prologue

This might be the my only POV in this book, so lets make it count.

My name is Yakuso Halo and I have been called upon by PrintPanda to tell my own side of the story in a few words, and ˗after much pleading- I obliged and decided to do it.

So about a little history?

It all started with my parents, King Dezza and Queen Lurie:

My father was a good king who could give up his life for his kingdom(or so I was told). See, my father trusted everyone, maybe too much. His general, Prisma Yaoui, was one of the people my father had put great trust in. In fact, my father loved Prisma like he was the brother he never had.

Prisma was a great warrior. Ruthless and fearless in battle, a tactical and analytical mind, basically everything a warrior needed and more.

But he had one problem.

Prisma was proud, unforgiving and a huge megalomaniac.

The whole kingdom knew this and, though he had fought bravely for the kingdom countless of times, they hated him for it. That probably why he went ballistic and revolted against my father. He raised an army of sixty thousand men against my father's army of half a million men.

Believe it or not, Prisma won.

He killed my parents, claimed the throne and practically exiled me when I was still a baby.

That's why I must avenge my parents and reclaim the throne and restore peace to my father's kingdom.

I am The Promise.

PS. This book requires your imagination... so use it.
