In the study Mr. Rowel and Alexander were discussing issues" you will be attending the Huston's banquet representing me , you know I'm getting to old for this" Mr. Rowel said to Alex who was nonchalantly sitting on the chair opposite him,the family has seen Alexander and welcomed him so he came to discuss with his father on issues with his company he was to take over .
Alexander looked at the beautiful pearl on his father's table then played with it. "Is it necessary for me going there? I can't see the reason why one must attend the banquet just to get information " Alexander shrugged his shoulder for he has other works to do than attending banquets ,He never liked these social gatherings.
Mr. Rowel looked at the document in his hands then lifted up his eyes " There are very vital informations that get to ones ear , that's what I've always done in this business world ..yes ... sending my assistant is doddle but when you're there it's more ok, that's where I get some informations about you to know how you're doing and seeing the companies you have are doing extremely well... I didn't mind to add mine for you to carry along , James refused to get involve in business that's why he joined his mother on researching stuffs " He picked a pen to sign on it .
Alex remained silent ." Ah that remains me when are you getting married Alex " Mr Rowel said to him raising an eyebrow.
Alexander paused them said" Father I'm only 23 years old not some adult , besides Mary's not married why should I bother" he sighed rolling his head .
"What nonsense are you saying? Mary has a fiance she's 25 years old,so why can't you get a girlfriend? When you nurture your relationship, you'll them get love that's what happened me..."he then pause then continue " I find love when I met your mother so young and beautiful, I think I was 20 and she was 19 ,she was so pure ,but her mother refused our relationship ,she was so bent to hell about my poor life ,you know how poor my family was ,we could barely see small quantity of food even though I was the only child. Alexander just looked at him indifferently ,he was not ready for romantic relationship besides one of his best friend in the last two years has been complaining about his girlfriend he moved with to Paris while the other changes them everyday, why get into these stuff when you can not keep to yourself?. " Yes that's a good idea ,catch them while young...what a smart man you are"she walked to his side and gave him a peck making Mr. Rowel smile he finds leave in his wife's presence.
