[20ps]

The sun had barely risen when the first ship appeared on the horizon.

Kaya, wrapped in a thick shawl, stood on the balcony of her estate with Usopp at her side. Her hands trembled slightly, but not from fear—this time, it was anger.

"They're back…" she whispered.

Rael stood silently near the front gate, gazing toward the coastline.

The ship was unmistakable—black sails with a faded insignia of a prowling cat. Kuro's flag.

Beside it, a second vessel approached. Sleeker. Clean white sails. A Marine emblem painted on its side.

Usopp's jaw dropped. "Wait—Marines?! They're with him?!"

Rael's eyes narrowed. "Corrupted ones."

Moments later, the ships anchored, and two dozen men disembarked—pirates with savage eyes and blood-crusted blades, flanked by Marines wearing smug grins.

Kuro walked ahead of them all, arms crossed, a bandage across his chest. His eyes burned with hatred.

"Let's keep this simple," he called out toward the estate. "Hand over Kaya. Or this whole village burns."

A Marine captain stepped forward beside him, puffing out his chest. "By order of Marine Captain Darius, this land and the assets of the late Klahadore are to be seized for investigation. Resistance will be treated as rebellion against the World Government!"

Rael didn't move.

The Marine sneered. "Did you not hear me, boy? Or are you too stupid to—?"

He didn't get to finish.

Rael appeared in front of him in an instant—and punched him through a tree.

Gasps exploded from both the pirates and Marines.

Kuro's eyes widened. "That power again…"

"You made a mistake coming back," Rael said coldly. "And bringing cowards in uniforms won't help you."

The pirates roared and charged, enraged. Marines followed, drawing rifles and swords.

But then—

"Gomu Gomu no… PISTOL!"

A rubbery fist smashed through a pirate's face, sending him flying back into his allies.

"Luffy!" Usopp shouted.

The Straw Hats were here—Luffy leading the charge, Zoro cracking his knuckles, Nami already swinging her staff, and Sanji lighting a cigarette with a deadly smirk.

"We heard trouble was brewing," Zoro said as he unsheathed his swords. "Didn't want to miss it."

Rael glanced at Luffy, who gave him a grin. "Let's wreck 'em."

Rael nodded—and the battle began.

Chaos erupted.

Zoro danced through blades, his twin swords slicing effortlessly through pirate after pirate.

Luffy flung pirates left and right like rag dolls, grinning all the while.

Rael moved differently—like death itself.

He didn't waste energy. He moved only when needed, but when he did—bodies flew, blades shattered, and men screamed.

Every time one of Kuro's pirates lunged at him, they ended up on the ground. Crushed. Broken.

Kuro watched in disbelief as his carefully laid plans collapsed.

And then Rael was in front of him again.

"No more running," Rael said flatly.

Kuro roared and unleashed everything—his claws, his speed, his rage. He moved like a blur, slicing through the air with wild ferocity.

But Rael had seen faster.

He dodged everything.

And then he struck.

A single punch.

Kuro's ribs cracked.

Another blow—his jaw snapped sideways.

Rael grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the earth hard enough to shake the ground.

Blood spilled from Kuro's mouth.

He looked up, dazed. Terrified.

"P-Please… Don't kill me…" he rasped.

Rael raised his fist one more time.

But then he stopped.

Kaya stood behind him, hands trembling.

"Rael…" she said gently. "Stop. He's finished."

Rael didn't speak—but lowered his hand.

Kuro coughed, barely conscious. "You… monster…"

Rael turned and walked away.

"I've seen real monsters," he said. "You're just a rat who wore a butler's coat."

The battle ended with the remaining Marines and pirates either unconscious or fleeing to their ship. The villagers came out of hiding, cheering. Kaya was safe. The estate was hers again.

Later that night, the Straw Hats gathered near the edge of the village.

"So," Luffy said, mouth full of meat. "You joining us?"

Rael looked at the sea.

"I still have things to do. Places to go."

"You'd be a great crewmate," Usopp added. "Super strong. Cooler than Zoro, even!"

"Hey," Zoro muttered.

Rael smirked faintly. "Maybe another time."

Nami stepped forward. "Will we see you again?"

He looked at her.

"Yes."

Then, without another word, he turned and walked into the night.

His path was still long.

And across the sea, new worlds were waiting.
