The pirate ship creaked gently in the bay, anchored and still, as the setting sun painted it gold and crimson.
Rael stood on the gangplank, one foot resting on a pile of unconscious pirates now neatly tied up with ropes scavenged from their own vessel. Behind him, several townspeople watched in awe and confusion as he finished hauling the last of the Black Tooth pirates aboard their own ship.
"There," Rael muttered, dusting his hands. "One complete delivery. Pirates nicely packaged for pickup."
He turned to the villagers. "You said Marines visit here every few weeks?"
"Yes," the village elder replied, stroking his long beard. "A patrol ship should be here within the next couple of days…"
"Good." Rael threw a small, rusted anchor over the unconscious captain's chest. "Leave these gifts for them. Let the World Government have their justice."
He'd already scrawled a crude note on a nearby crate:"Delivered by a concerned citizen. You're welcome. – R"Rael cracked his neck, then turned toward the rest of the pirate ship.
It was a medium-sized schooner, nothing fancy, but seaworthy and well-stocked. He strode across the deck with confident steps, inspecting the sails, the cannon placements, and the helm. The name "Black Claw" was carved into the hull in jagged letters.
"That won't do."
With a single punch, he shattered the carved nameplate, letting the splinters fall into the sea.[System Notification]

Inside was a stash of gold coins, jewels, looted goods, several kegs of rum, and—surprisingly—a detailed map of the East Blue.
He helped himself to all of it.
"This will do nicely."
He found a black cloak, finely stitched with red embroidery, in the captain's wardrobe and threw it over his bare shoulders. It flowed perfectly with his tall, muscular frame.
Standing before the dusty mirror, Rael looked at himself:
Golden eyes like molten fire, intense and wild.
Black hair tousled and wind-blown.
Shredded torso sculpted like a god of war.
A jagged scar ran diagonally across his left pectoral—earned during the final battle with the Demon King.
The cloak fluttered behind him as if recognizing its new master.
"Still got it," he said with a smirk.
As he exited the cabin, he turned back once more.
The pirates groaned and twitched slightly in their bindings—waking slowly from their coma.
Rael leapt from the ship to the dock below with impossible grace.
"You know," he muttered to no one in particular, "for pirates, they sure were generous donors."[Side Task Complete: 'Claim the Enemy's Spoils']

Rael paused for a second. "Yeah," he said. "Your village is safe now. The Marines will deal with the trash. I've got other seas to conquer."
He stopped by a supply shop, grabbing dried meats, ropes, maps, and fresh water—none of which he paid for.
The shopkeeper just waved him off, eyes full of gratitude. "After what you've done… take whatever you need, hero!"
Rael nodded. "Not a hero," he said under his breath. "Not anymore."
Minutes later, the Black Claw—now stripped of its cursed name—drifted away from Corsa's dock.
Rael stood at the helm, arms crossed, the wind brushing past him. The sun was gone now, replaced by a moonlit sky and endless dark waters.
He had no crew.
No flag.
No destination.
But he had a ship, a mountain of stolen treasure, a burning desire to escape his fate—and a system whispering to him of infinite worlds beyond this one.[System Update: Dimensional Sync – 7%]

He raised a hand to the sky, and with it, a small spark of his original power surged through his veins—just a flicker. The sea trembled slightly beneath the hull.
The seal may still hold, but cracks were forming.
And somewhere beyond the foggy seas, destiny was stirring.
