Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: School Begins!!!

The day after his Martial Soul Awakening...

Today was the day the Martial Soul Hall Academy officially welcomed its new students. Every child selected during yesterday's Martial Soul Awakening ceremony, along with those from other cities whose spots had already been confirmed, would report to the academy—the number one soul master institution on the entire continent—to begin their studies.

The Martial Soul Hall Academy was the largest single structure in Martial Soul City, though it wasn't located at the city center. Instead, it stood in the southwestern sector of the Martial Soul Hall's territory.

Its architectural style followed that of nobility. Each teaching building, each structure, was intricately designed, and the amount of greenery was borderline excessive.

On top of that, the Academy's training conditions were exceptional. Nearly every kind of Martial Soul simulation and cultivation environment could be found here, and the instructors were all top-tier experts from the Martial Soul Hall. On occasion, even Titled Douluo-level masters would show up to give a lecture.

Today, Li Chang'an had come alone to register. Staring up at the towering, majestic main gate—nearly fifty meters tall—he couldn't help but feel a rush of heroic spirit.

'This is where it all begins... my journey of charming beautiful girls starts here!'

After handing over his student ID badge at the entrance, the receptionist's expression changed subtly. This badge wasn't just an ordinary student's pass—it signified something else: he was placed in the Elite Class.

The Elite Class was the most prestigious class in the entire academy, composed of only a dozen or so students. Apart from the Pope's personal disciple, the receptionist had never heard of anyone else being placed directly into the Elite Class at age six.

But then he recalled the rumors from yesterday's Martial Soul Awakening. Looking at this handsome, adorable boy, everything suddenly made sense. His tone softened.

"Follow me, little brother. I'll take you to your class."

Li Chang'an gave a sweet smile and replied, "Thank you, big sister!" before following her cheerfully.

As soon as he stepped onto campus grounds, Li Chang'an could feel the spiritual energy here was far richer than outside. The trees were neatly trimmed and arranged in a way that brought peace to the heart.

Looking ahead, he saw a massive plaza with a towering fifty-meter-tall angel statue at its center. In front of the statue stood a grand fountain, and buildings flanked both sides.

"To the left is the academic area—it includes classrooms for various year groups, training arenas, and cultivation zones."

"To the right is the living area—dormitories, the cafeteria, shops, and more."

As the receptionist introduced the campus, Li Chang'an began to get a clearer picture of the Martial Soul Hall Academy. From layout to facilities, everything was both impressive and awe-inspiring—a true dream destination for any aspiring soul master.

Soon, they arrived at a three-story classroom building. The receptionist knocked on the door of a large classroom on the ground floor. Moments later, a beautiful woman in her thirties stepped out. Though she had a pleasant appearance, she exuded a powerful presence.

The receptionist respectfully informed the woman of Li Chang'an's situation. The teacher looked at him in surprise.

Her gaze lingered—not just in shock, but in admiration. She had never seen such an exquisitely adorable boy before. Li Chang'an took the opportunity to flash a gentle smile, which made her smile back, slightly amused.

"You may go now. I'll take him from here," the teacher said.

The receptionist nodded respectfully, then smiled at Li Chang'an before departing. 'This boy… he's destined to reach a level far beyond anything I can imagine.'

The teacher crouched slightly to meet his eye level and smiled warmly. "Hello there, I'm Cui Yongqin, your homeroom teacher in the Elite Class. You can call me Teacher Cui."

"Nice to meet you, Teacher Cui. I'm Li Chang'an—'Chang'an' as in wishing you a lifetime of peace and joy," he introduced himself with his usual charm.

"Li Chang'an… that's a very interesting name," she chuckled. "Come, let's head inside."

She turned and led the way into the classroom, motioning for him to follow.

As soon as Li Chang'an stepped through the door, he took in the full view of the classroom. It wasn't that the room was too small—on the contrary, it was spacious. It just felt a bit empty because of the low number of students.

There were only about ten students present. Among them, only four were girls; the rest were boys who looked at least two to three years older than him—some even more.

But that wasn't what caught his attention.

What did was the presence of two very pretty girls in the room.

One sat near the center, with chestnut-colored hair that just reached her shoulders and curled slightly at the ends. At first glance, she wasn't drop-dead gorgeous, but a closer look revealed a subtle allure—and to be honest, she was surprisingly well-developed for her age.

The second girl sat in the corner, wearing a crisp white outfit. Her short, pale golden hair and delicate features resembled Bibi Dong to an uncanny degree—at least 60% similar. Yet, she carried an aura of cold detachment, as if removed from the world.

As for the rest of the class, their reaction to Li Chang'an was mostly shock.

It was obvious he was a new student, but only six years old and already placed in the Elite Class? That defied all logic.

Everyone—except the girl in the corner—watched him with mixed expressions: surprise, skepticism, jealousy... and some even a little hostile.

The exception, however, was Hu Liena. She wasn't surprised, having been informed yesterday that she'd be taking the new student, Li Chang'an, to class today.

But seeing him in person, she was genuinely pleased. Her future junior brother was adorable and handsome—she had a strong urge to pinch his cheeks.

Cui Yongqin clapped her hands to get everyone's attention.

"This is our new classmate and this year's incoming student. He'll be studying with you all from now on. I hope you'll treat him kindly and help him settle in."

As the Elite Class homeroom teacher, Cui Yongqin had a commanding presence. Her words alone were enough to ensure that no one would openly provoke Li Chang'an—at least not for now.

"Li Chang'an, let me introduce your classmates."

She pointed to the first girl who had caught his eye. "This is Hu Liena. That's Xie Yue. Over there is Yan. And finally..."

Her hand pointed toward the corner, "...that's Qian Renxue."

Everything lined up perfectly with the people Li Chang'an had already been observing.

"Hello, senior brothers and sisters. I'm Li Chang'an. Please take care of me," he greeted politely.

'So this is the Li Chang'an', they all thought, realization dawning on their faces.

Pope's Hall

Bibi Dong set down the official documents in her hands and stretched her exquisite body with a faint grimace on her flawless face.

The pressure from the Elder Hall was becoming overwhelming. If she truly wanted to gain full control of the Martial Soul Hall, she still had a long road ahead.

"Your Holiness, someone's delivered something from your student," her handmaid finally spoke after seeing that Bibi Dong had finished her work.

The item had actually been delivered earlier that morning, but the maid had refrained from interrupting her until now, knowing how busy she was.

"Oh? From Na Na?" Bibi Dong asked curiously. When it came to her student, Hu Liena naturally came to mind first.

"No, from the disciple you accepted yesterday."

"Really? Bring it here. Let me take a look."

Bibi Dong's beautiful eyes gleamed with curiosity. Her thoughts drifted back to that adorable little boy she had met in the temple just yesterday…
