Part 2: Intervention Orders (Avengers & X-Men POV)
Summary:
In the weeks following the Captain America leak, the Avengers and X-Men begin uncovering Hydra's hidden labs. One in Eastern Europe is still active — heat signatures, encrypted systems, and children on life support. They prepare a full-scale rescue. But what they don't know is that inside the lab, Riven Dax has already begun his escape — dragging one surviving child through blood-soaked corridors, while others still remain trapped below.

Location: Xavier Institute – Briefing Room, Sublevel 3
The monitor glowed dimly in the center of the table. No one spoke at first.
Cyclops stood with arms crossed.
> "Another Hydra black-site. Buried, but not abandoned. Still active systems. Thermal readings. Security movement."
Jean leaned forward, brows drawn tight.
> "There are children in there. I can feel it. One… two dozen, maybe more. Some mutants. Some… just human."
Beast nodded grimly.
> "Logs suggest genetic trials. Drug compatibility. Neurobiological overlays."
Xavier's voice was low, but clear.
> "Find it. Breach it. End it."

Location: Avengers Compound – Central Operations Hub
Tony Stark dragged a hand down his face.
> "Let me guess — another lab full of Hydra's worst ideas?"
Natasha replied while checking her gear.
> "This one's worse. Kids. Scans show signs of test chambers and locked sublevels."
Wanda, quiet near the back of the room, didn't raise her voice — but she didn't need to.
> "Something inside that facility is awake."
Tony raised an eyebrow. "Define 'something.'"
She didn't answer.

Onboard the Blackbird – Joint Mission Flight
The tension in the jet could be cut with a blade.
Scott Summers briefed the group, voice brisk.
> "Priority: extraction and security. We move in, locate all test subjects, and shut Hydra down—permanently."
Steve Rogers nodded.
> "No heroics. Just get the kids out. Take down anyone in the way."
Wanda, in her seat near the side hatch, stared at the ground, her voice barely a whisper.
> "Someone's already bleeding down there."
Logan looked up from sharpening his blade.
> "How the hell do you know?"
> "Because I can feel him."

They didn't know yet—
That buried deep below that Eastern European lab, beneath years of steel and silence—
Riven Dax was already moving through broken corridors, soaked in blood, dragging a barely-conscious girl in his arms.
That dozens of Hydra agents had already died.
That not all the children were rescued yet.
Some still cried behind locked doors.
Some were barely alive.
And that Riven, for the first time in four years, had just begun.
