Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Celestial Meet – Sparks Against Heaven

The world whispered beneath the moons,

As drums of fate beat ancient tunes.

From peak to peak and sect to sect,

The winds bore word—an event unchecked.

The Celestial Meet.

A war not fought by blades alone,

But will and pride and blooded bone.

A stage where Heaven's chosen rise,

To stake their names in starlit skies.

And Lin Xun, fire-forged and crowned,

Now bore the right to tread that ground.

Inside the Skyrect Sect's grand hall,

Elders sat like mountains tall.

Flame-orbs hung from crimson jade,

And spirits watched through veils they made.

Master Xuan, with beard of white,

Summoned Lin Xun to the light.

> "You've passed the trials none have dared,

And shown the fire that fate declared.

Now comes the Meet, in Heaven's land,

Where sects shall clash and empires stand."

Beside him stood Qingxue calm,

Her gaze a pool of silent balm.

But in her eyes, a storm did flare,

For what they faced was grave and rare.

> "The Meet is more than fight and fame,"

She said, "It marks one's sect and name."

"You'll face the heirs of ancient thrones,

Whose power shakes celestial zones."

A scroll unfurled with sacred flame—

List of names with boundless claim.

From Dragon Tides to Moonstone Shore,

From Night Lotus to Ghost Fang War.

Each name a legend, fierce and cold,

Each one raised on sacred gold.

But three stood out from all the rest,

Known as the titans of the test.

1. Ji Fengyan, heir to Violet Sky,

Whose swordplay cleaves the very cry

Of angels weeping through the storms—

A peerless youth with warlike forms.

2. Mu Lian, of the Starless Court,

A woman cloaked in soul's consort.

Her voice could calm or kill with song,

Her talismans both right and wrong.

3. Yun Haoran, Phoenix-born,

Whose flames had burned through heaven's scorn.

Said to wield a sunlit blade,

With steps that gods themselves obeyed.

Lin Xun took in every name,

Not with fear, but kindled flame.

> "They are strong," he calmly said,

"But no more than the ghosts I've bled."

His fingers curled around his hilt,

His aura rose with furnace guilt.

For deep within his veins still stirred,

The wrath of every whispered word.

> "Trash."

"Failure."

"Clanless worm."

Those echoes now began to burn.

But he would carve his tale anew,

With every breath and path he drew.

The Skyrect Sect set sail that night,

On Skycloud Ships that kissed the height.

Each ship a fortress born of rune,

Gliding swift beneath twin moon.

Lin Xun stood upon the prow,

The wind was chill, his heart made vow.

> "I'll rise not just to prove my flame,

But to ignite my father's name."

The stars above blinked crystal tears,

As though they knew the road of years.

Far north, within the Iceveil Court,

The Nine-Petal Maiden held report.

Xu Qingxue's kin, young Lady Lan,

Watched as scrolls fell from her fan.

> "Lin Xun, you reckless crimson star…

How bright you burn, how far you are."

And though she smiled with knowing grace,

A storm would soon cross every place.

For whispers now from secret lands

Spoke of Lin Xun in hunted strands.

A bounty placed by ghostly sects,

From clans whose pride had tasted wrecks.

They saw the name that now arose—

And plotted darkly, friend and foes.

When Skyrect's ships reached Heaven's Ark,

The world below was deep and stark.

Mountains soared like titans still,

And palaces broke dawn at will.

A hundred sects had gathered close,

Each draped in silks or clad in ghosts.

Flags of jade and banners black,

Spirits rode the thunder's track.

The Celestial Meet began with fire,

A tempest dance of deep desire.

And Lin Xun stepped through golden veil,

To write his name on Heaven's scale.

The first trial—a test of mind—

Where dream and thought were intertwined.

Illusions weaved like lovers' lies,

To cage the weak and blind their eyes.

But Lin Xun stood amidst the false,

His saber hummed, his will a pulse.

He broke each dream with crimson slash,

And walked through pain like thunder's crash.

> "Who is he?" they gasped in awe.

"What sect gave rise to such raw law?"

The elders whispered, lips gone dry,

As Lin Xun's light outshone the sky.

Then came the duels, by ancient rite,

Where fire met wind and day met night.

He faced ten youths in spiral round,

Each stronger, crueler, battle-bound.

But none could hold him, none could stand—

His saber danced like god's own hand.

With one last clash, the earth did cry,

As Lin Xun struck and kissed the sky.

> "I've come," he said, "to stake my flame,

And carve a new immortal name."

From distant hills, a figure stirred—

Yun Haoran heard every word.

> "Then let your light burn high and loud…

I'll snuff it out before the crowd."

The Phoenix heir, with smirk so grim,

Had set his final gaze on him.

But above the clash, the stars would weave,

A fate no mortal mind could grieve.

For deep beneath the heavenly dome,

A shadow moved inside a tome.

A relic lost from ancie

nt reign,

Awoke with Lin Xun's blood and pain.

And as he climbed through trial and test,

The heavens whispered to the rest:

> "This buried star is not alone—

His flame was born of broken throne."
