The teachers had already reached Level 1 or 2. They had power, and they were in the warehouse — how could they become zombies?
The students couldn't be more shocked; it was simply too much for them to process.
After turning into zombies, their levels even increased by one.
"Get back!" Liam shouted, quickly charging toward the zombie teachers.
He was at Level 4 and could easily take them all down — of course, he had to act fast.
The problem was, in this warehouse with limited space, if he was even slightly late, these zombies could kill the students, turning them into new zombies who would then slaughter the others.
Liam transformed his right hand into a stone dragon hand and smashed each zombie fiercely.
BANG! BANG!
Their movements were slower than his; they didn't even have time to react to his approach.
He struck each of them hard, slamming them against the wall, right near Lisa and Melly.
Even the Headmaster Zombie couldn't get up after his punches.
Of course, Liam still approached them as they lay helpless.
"Lisa, Melly, kill them," Liam said to the two girls.
He wouldn't gain anything by killing them himself, so he gave them the opportunity. At the very least, it would help Melly reach Level 1 and Lisa reach Level 2.
Lisa hesitated. Even though she had asked Liam for a sword yesterday, she was still unsure — she had never killed a zombie before.
At the same time, Liam saw Melly step forward immediately.
However, she had no weapon, and her skills weren't the type that could easily kill.
"Use this!" Liam finally threw his sword to her.
But she failed to catch it, and it fell to the flooded floor.
She picked it up first. Then, without any hesitation, she swung it at the headmaster's neck.
Under everyone's gaze, the headmaster's head was severed from his body.
Seeing Melly's action, all the students could only stare with open mouths.
They felt uneasy watching the headmaster's neck being chopped off, even though he had already become a zombie.
Watching Melly, Lisa clearly felt ashamed of her fear and forced herself to step forward.
Meanwhile, Melly didn't seem to care at all about what she was doing. She went on to behead the other teacher zombies.
There were nine surviving teachers; Melly calmly cut off each of their heads, and Lisa finally copied her.
In a short time, all nine teachers were decapitated. One of them even dropped a sword, which Melly then picked up.
Melly panted heavily after the slaughter, clearly exhausted.
Her body staggered as she sat down on a chair.
"Hahaha..." She suddenly burst into laughter, sounding almost like a scream, her eyes turning red, and her expression filled with strange satisfaction.
The students looked at her oddly, unsure why she was laughing after killing like that. Even Lisa, who had helped her, was confused.
Fortunately, she only laughed for a brief moment before calming down.
She took several deep breaths as if to steady herself.
Then she looked at her own hand, and directed it at the floodwater.
Splash!
Suddenly, some of the water rose, forming several floating water spheres, which then turned into water blades, and finally into water arrows.
The students, initially puzzled by her laughter, now stared at her in awe as she did something they couldn't do.
"Do you have a Tier A Skill?" Liam asked her while taking his sword back, since Melly now had her own.
From what he knew, Tier C Skills were very simple, and even Tier B Skills weren't too complex, just slightly stronger. But Melly's skill was too unique for Tier B, let alone Tier C.
That's why Liam suspected it was a Tier A Skill.
"Yes, Tier A. I can release water or control existing water and shape it into anything I want, including creating water shields," Melly answered softly.
Liam nodded, no longer surprised.
However, compared to a Tier S Skill, even a Tier A Skill seemed rather ordinary. The power gap was significant.
Lisa didn't seem surprised to hear that Melly had a Tier A Skill — perhaps she had told her before.
Liam's gaze then turned toward the teachers' corpses.
He naturally took this matter seriously. In his view, something must have caused them to turn into zombies — something that could potentially turn him into one too.
Only one possibility came to mind: zombie blood or body parts had likely entered their bodies.
How did that happen?
It was obvious — someone must have tampered.
As he thought about this, Liam subconsciously glanced at Joel and Anthony.
They appeared just as surprised as everyone else, but among them all, Liam was most suspicious of these two. They always seemed too comfortable amidst the chaos.
With the teachers gone, they would now have more freedom to stir trouble.
Besides being stronger than most of the students, they held a third of the power in this fortress.
In other words, they could easily oppress the others. They could even overpower Luis if it weren't for Alex holding the third chair.
"Let's go!"
Liam didn't want to waste time thinking about the teachers. They were dead — there was no point dwelling on them.
Hearing his words, Melly quickly stood up from the chair. She, Alex, and Lisa followed Liam.
Outside, the rain was still pouring heavily, but Melly remained completely dry. A blue glow surrounded her entire body, repelling the rainwater.
As they reached the top of the fortress, Melly and Lisa couldn't help but be shocked at how much worse the outside world had become.
They even looked frightened and disgusted when they saw the giant frogs.
"Remember, your fear could endanger you. Stay calm so you don't make mistakes," Liam said to them before continuing his advance.
Actually, it wasn't just the three of them following him. Several other students had also decided to follow behind, ready to fight wherever he would lead them.
They just weren't as proactive as Melly, who took the initiative to follow him and speak with him.
