"King, all the tribesmen are hiding in the sea ahead."
Hearing Alan's dissuasion, the Atlantean urged everyone to hurry. But Namor couldn't give up so easily. He had to at least find his own memories. He was unwilling to live in obscurity and had no regrets, even if the journey was bumpy.
In less than an hour, they stopped over the vast ocean. Looking around, there was no place to hide.
"Everyone wait a moment. I'll call someone out to greet you right away." After saying this, the man dove into the sea.
"Your Highness, I smell a hint of conspiracy." Alan stuck his head into the water, emerged after a while, and said in a deep voice, "Sure enough, we've fallen into a trap. I couldn't see a thing when I stuck my head in the water."
"Don't you know that human eyes are structured differently and you can't see clearly underwater?" Diana explained helplessly.
"Of course, I do," Alan said stubbornly. "I was just testing you."
At this time, Alan reached into his pants and pulled out a transparent plastic bag from his buttocks. As long as your butt is lifted high enough, nothing can stop you from getting stuck.
"What are you going to do?" Diana looked at Alan with a puzzled expression as he started to do something weird.
"I'm going to make a simple diving device."
The plastic bag was put directly over his head. Alan untied his shoelaces and tied them around his neck, then he grabbed the ropes at both ends and pulled hard.
Gag…
He used too much force, and the shoelaces dug deeply into his neck. Alan's eyes rolled back, and his tongue stuck out, looking like he was about to suffocate.
"Hah… I almost achieved the ultimate achievement in life: killing myself," Alan gasped, sucking the plastic bag into his mouth and exhaling it as he breathed. Considering that this trip involved the ocean, Alan had thoughtfully prepared plastic bags to pack things in to prevent them from being soaked in seawater. Now, he was using them as diving props. He said leisurely, "I am truly a genius. My smart cells have taken over the high ground again. Ding! Unlock a new identity: Walmart Plastic Bag. No one can assume my gender."
Diana watched the whole thing in silence. This guy will kill himself sooner or later.
Alan jumped into the sea with a splash, a plastic bag over his head. He dove and surfaced from time to time, his eyes rolling around.
"Reporting to the commander, no situation was found."
"Walmart Plastic Bag, search again."
"Roger that."
Alan surfaced, reported to himself, and gave orders to himself. After tossing back and forth a few times, he suddenly jumped out of the water, tore open the plastic bag with both hands, gasped for breath, and said in horror, "Guys, we have encountered the god Cthulhu! Did you feel suffocated and dizzy just now? That might be mental pollution."
"…" The corners of Diana's mouth twitched, and she regretted in her heart why she had agreed to let him come along. What Cthulhu? That's the reaction to inhaling too much carbon dioxide.
Splash…
Suddenly, many shark knights in white armor appeared on the water.
"I have returned, your king," Namor said, his expression solemn and majestic, as if he were displaying his kingly demeanor.
Bang!
A quantum ray responded. Namor was caught off guard by the explosion. If he hadn't been in the water, where his abilities were far superior to those on land, he might have been shot in the head on the spot.
"You half-blooded false king! What qualifications do you have to call yourself the king of Atlantis?"
"Trampling on the noble bloodline of Atlantis is a disgrace to the entire ocean kingdom!"
"Kill the false king in exchange for merit!"
These were not Namor's supporters at all, but a group of fanatics loyal to the new king. The Atlantean who had led the way had been deceiving them.
"Pirate King, I was right. You can't control yourself." Alan took out the Blade of Redemption and prepared to swim toward the enemy to fight.
With a loud bang, Diana leaped from Nanaue's back toward the Shark Knights. At the same time, Namor rushed toward the enemy in the water as if he were equipped with an engine. And Alan swam slowly in a doggy paddle style. The shrimp soldiers and crab generals were no match for them and were basically killed instantly with one strike.
"All of Atlantis has betrayed me?" Namor grabbed a soldier, his eyes filled with anger. The result he had been pursuing was full of betrayal and deception. How could he control his inner rage?
The soldier's eyes were full of contempt, and he sneered sarcastically, "If you want to know the answer, go to Atlantis and ask it yourself." As soon as he finished speaking, he crushed the crystal bottle in his hand, and a scarlet liquid spilled into the ocean. "Unfortunately, you won't have a chance to get an answer. The Trench Tribe will tear you to pieces."
Click.
An enraged Namor twisted his neck, no longer able to tell whether his words were true or false.
"Evacuate immediately! He might use something to attract the Trench Tribe!" When Diana heard about the Trench Tribe and saw the liquid diluted into the seawater, she immediately realized that the situation was not good. The Trench Tribe, a group of marine predators, was a gregarious species that often appeared in groups. Once they were surrounded, they were impossible to kill and might even be consumed to death. Demigods are not perpetual motion machines, and Diana also gets tired sometimes.
"Who pooped in the sea? The water turned black." Alan stood on Nanaue's back and looked at the shadow approaching from underwater.
Splash!
A ferocious monster leaped out of the water and rushed over to kill them. It looked human but not human, like a fish but not a fish, with a humanoid form, a fish face, and fins like spines at the joints.
"Fight your way out in this direction! That's where Paradise Island is!" Diana pointed in a direction, took the Sword of Vulcan in her hand, then untied the Lasso of Truth, put it around the mouth of the shark under her feet, and controlled it to provide her with surface combat capabilities.
Namor led the way in the water, fighting against the swarming Trench Tribe. Nanaue followed closely behind with Alan. Alan raised his sword and slashed, killing each of the Trench Tribe members who jumped out of the water to attack.
[TRENCH TRIBE KILLED. EXPERIENCE +150]
As expected, he had come to the right place. If Alan had the ability to fight in water, he would have rushed into the sea and killed everything in his way. He would never go ashore until his level was maxed out.
The number of Trench Tribe members was increasing, and underwater shadows were invading the sea surface, turning it black. Namor was fighting bravely in the front, with no time to care about his teammates behind him. Diana was not proficient in water battles. Once she fell into the water, her ability to move was restricted, and she could only be trapped in endless fighting. Relatively speaking, Nanaue was more useful in the water than Diana. After all, it was unreasonable for the descendant of an old water god to not be good at water battles.
It was a hard fight. Having already reached the edge of the area, Nanaue charged and took Alan out of the range of the Trench Tribe.
"My princess is gone!" Alan looked out at the water and found that Diana had not escaped. It was normal, really. She was riding an ordinary shark, not the demigod Nanaue, and it wasn't enough to fill the teeth of the Trench Tribe.
"Nanaue, go save Her Royal Highness the Princess. I'll go to Paradise Island and wait for you." Alan jumped into the sea and swam hard in the direction Diana had pointed.
Nanaue and Namor turned back to the battlefield to rescue Diana.
