The magical girls' mana was slowly transforming into Honkai energy.
Apparently, this was already irreversible. Fortunately, Takumi had mentioned this before, and Lilia had made sure to inform everyone as well. Because of that, there wasn't any panic. In fact, many became curious about Honkai energy—since they found it even more convenient than mana. Realizing how useful it was, everyone got excited.
On top of that, Takumi's robots had distributed identification cards to everyone, and had also handled the issue of the world's currency. The magical girls gradually accepted the changes in this world, and some even moved to the city where the cursed children lived.
Takumi listened to Lilia's report, and his eyes lit up.
"Really? That's great news."
Miori Shiba and the others had managed things very well. Everything was running smoothly now.
Lilia, meanwhile, was curious about Takumi's trip.
"Did you get anything out of your adventure this time?"
Takumi nodded.
"Yeah, a huge haul! I've gained knowledge from two worlds. Oh, and let me introduce you to some friends. Come with me!"
With that, Takumi put down his soda and led Lilia outside.
Lilia blinked in surprise. Did Takumi bring people from another world again?
Following Takumi outside, she watched as he opened his imaginary space and released Gabriel, the other angels, and Ophis.
As the imaginary space opened, the angels quickly followed Gabriel out. Stepping into this world, they all froze. There was no mana here, and as they appeared, Gabriel keenly sensed something changing within her own body.
"Lord Takumi!"
Noticing the change, Gabriel was startled and quickly turned to Takumi, reporting her situation:
"Lord Takumi, my mana seems to be changing. What's happening?"
Even though she didn't know if this change was good or bad, she felt she should let Takumi know right away.
Takumi was surprised as well.
"It changed so quickly? Don't worry, it's normal. That energy is a unique product of my world. Now that you're here, it's only natural that your power will shift—it means this world has accepted you."
Takumi stroked his chin, thinking aloud. This was probably because they'd been accepted by the world itself. Their powers were beginning to convert—soon, they'd become more like people of this world.
Gabriel was stunned.
Was such a thing even possible? Arriving in another world actually converted your energy?
All the angels were surprised by the news.
Ophis also spoke up.
"This energy is stronger than mana."
Ophis could feel the change in her body too. It would take some time, but once the conversion was complete, she might become even stronger than before. She was genuinely surprised—she hadn't expected such a benefit from coming here.
"It's called Honkai energy. It's the special energy of my world."
Takumi found himself wondering—did everyone he brought back get recognized by the world? Was that why their energy converted so easily? When Zhongli and the others came, they hadn't experienced such changes. But the people he personally brought seemed to adapt immediately.
Honkai energy could turn ordinary people into zombies if they weren't careful. The first time Honkai energy appeared, magical beasts turned into Honkai beasts. Maybe, since Takumi brought these people back himself, they had permission to use it?
Either way, it was a good thing. For most, Honkai energy was extremely dangerous.
"Honkai energy, huh? I understand."
Once Gabriel understood, she nodded in relief.
"Let me introduce everyone. This is Lilia, also from another world—a magical girl. Lilia, this is Gabriel, an angel. I'm sure you've heard of her. And this is Ophis—the Dragon God."
Takumi made introductions as Lilia, curious, listened. Gabriel and Ophis both turned to Lilia.
"Nice to meet you, Miss Lilia!"
Gabriel greeted her kindly. Lilia nodded back.
"Hello…"
An angel? And not just any angel, but the famous Gabriel. Did Takumi visit a world of myths?
So curious!
She wondered if she'd get the chance to travel with Takumi to other worlds someday.
Ophis looked at Lilia, sensing Takumi's presence all over her. Was there something between the two?
After introductions, Takumi turned to the angels.
"Next, I'll build you a new Heaven here in this world—a brand-new dimensional space. It'll be modeled after your original Heaven, and you'll be free to travel anywhere in this world."
Gabriel's eyes lit up with delight.
"Really? Is that possible?"
To recreate Heaven? That would be amazing.
"Of course! I already know how your Heaven works. It's no trouble at all."
With that, Takumi looked up at the sky and disappeared.
Time to get to work.
Takumi rose into the air, opening a massive new space node. He carved out a huge space, modeled on the original Heaven. Once the space was set up, Takumi began to construct the light element, flooding the area with it. Next, he started building Heaven's various structures—including…the system!
That's right, Takumi planned to recreate Heaven's system here, complete with the reincarnation pool and everything.
