She turned to him and laughed dryly.
"W-what? What we told you is what is shown on the surveillance camera. Do you really believe this little girl over five full grown adults?"
Wade shifted his gaze to her with the most strange look.
"I'm a military man, why would I believe a child's words about a matter like this so easily?"
"I can't take the boy away without proof that he did what he's being accused of. If the public finds out I punished an innocent young child without checking the facts, the military will be in trouble."
"You do know North City has enemies surrounding it. If they hear citizens are having problem with the military, they will seize the opportunity to attack."
"We wouldn't want some strangers coming into our country to kill us, would we?"
