Isabel was pacing the length of Harrison's study, her usual military composure crumbling. I'd never seen the tough captain so visibly distressed.
"We should have received communication by now," she muttered, checking her phone for the hundredth time. "Something's very wrong."
Ronan placed a steady hand on her shoulder. "Jasper's one of our best pilots. If anyone can handle an emergency, it's him."
