Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Determining the Future

Leon was a little surprised by the hunter's words. He turned his head and looked at Ademir, only to find that he was nodding to confirm what the hunter said.

He could even add: "In fact, when we boarded the space hulk, I was also very shocked by the specimens of those insects. Although we confirmed at the time that the specimens of those insects were different from the Zerg on Zerus, now looking back, I always feel that those insects show a possibility of the future. If our primarch is still alive, I think he must be conducting experiments in this regard in some unknown corner."

"That's it."

Hunter nodded in agreement: "As a hunter of the enemy of mankind, I will never allow him to study threats against mankind. So we must return to the Empire, and we must return to the Empire, concealing our identities. We need to conduct secret investigations in the Empire to find evidence that our Gene Father still exists or that he has left any backup plans. Even if he has been crushed to ashes by the Emperor, I must see his ashes to rest assured! This is my mission now!"

The hunter's words aroused the warriors' enthusiasm. The warriors who were originally confused became excited:

"I have been displeased with our father for a long time. I just left him at the beginning. Now I must find an opportunity to kill him!"

"How can a thing that blasphemes humanity be worthy of being our father? If I could catch him, I would take off his skull and use it as a urinal!"

Unlike the hot-blooded warriors, Hunter had thought for a long time before saying this. He did not join the warriors in launching a magnificent rebellion against my father, but continued to ask Leon for confirmation:

"First of all, we must have the means to conceal our identities and legally integrate into the empire. We need weapons and ammunition supplied by the empire, and many investigations also require official identities from the empire in order to get the other party to cooperate. Leon, I can see that you are not ordinary. Do you have any ideas in this regard?"

"It's difficult."

Leon was a little hesitant. "To avoid repeating the mistakes of several legions rebelling at the same time during the Heresy, Robert Guilliman, the Primarch of the XIII Legion Ultramarines, promulgated the Codex Astartes, which split large legions into chapters of a thousand men. But soon after he promulgated the Codex, he was seriously injured in battle by a rebellious Primarch, and like his father, he was placed in stasis forever."

Ademir held his forehead and finally understood why he was discovered when he lied about the Thirteenth Legion 2

He originally wanted to disguise himself by taking advantage of the enemy's large numbers, but who would have thought that it was the Primarch of the Thirteenth Legion who dismantled the legion?

No one cared about Ademir's chagrin for the time being. Everyone held their breath and listened attentively to Leon's further narration: "In this way, the power to form new chapters and review old chapters fell into the hands of the High Lords - the Supreme Human Lords Council, without the participation of the Astartes during your Great Crusade."

"You know, they are always very wary of the Astartes. They keep a record of every chapter and conduct strict purity checks from time to time..."

"So it's not impossible?" Hunter asked.

"It depends on how much you are willing to pay."

Leon did not deny it: "Perhaps you can go to a marginal star region and impersonate some chapters that are already on the sidelines. Or find some that have suffered heavy losses. They generally will not refuse the joining of their manpower, but in this way, their status in the war group will not be too high..."

"We need a better way, Leon."

Hunter said, his determination was firm: "We need a complete chapter status, for this we can even let you be the leader, and owe you a debt of honor that will never be repaid. As long as it does not conflict with our goals, the new chapter formed by us will always follow you."9

Leon's eyes lit up.

Leon doesn't care much about other things. All he cares about is digging out more scientific and technological knowledge so that he can restore the technology from other universes, to completely change this universe - this is his consistent goal, but the pursuit of knowledge will always be full of challenges from inside and outside the empire.

For Leon, who is digging graves all over the universe, the dangers of the galaxy are far from being dealt with by the Crusaders he has assembled alone. And now there are Space Marines who cannot return to the Empire normally, right in front of Leon. Who wouldn't be tempted when seeing this?

It would be a lie to say that Leon had no idea from the beginning, but he originally just wanted to hide these one hundred or so space marines secretly - as long as he had a big ship, hiding more than one hundred people would not be a problem at all.

The other party took the initiative to propose forming a chapter.

This is certainly not easy, but a chapter with legal status can be expanded to more than a thousand people, and a hundred Space Marines can become a thousand Space Marines. Such a good thing.

His mind quickly recalled the major events that were about to take place: from the Pope of the Imperial State Religion officially obtaining permanent status from the Council of High Lords, to the Beast War that was about to defeat humanity's false prosperity, to Abaddon's Second Black Crusade... Before long, a rough plan had taken shape in Leon's mind.

There are many things to consider when establishing a chapter. At least the common problem of flesh and blood deformation in the Second Legion's bloodline that I just heard from the Hunter is very worrying.

If there are only a hundred or so people, then this is not a problem, but if you want to establish a continuous chapter, you must at least ensure the stability of the gene seed and inheritance.

What Leon needed was warriors, not unstable time bombs, so he did not reveal his rough plan but changed the subject.

"Perhaps we can reach a deeper cooperation, but not now. Although we all know each other's stories, whether we can go on together in the future, I think we both need to make a more comprehensive assessment of each other."

Leon raised his fist towards Fearless.

"But at least now, I will show you my ability to take you away from this planet, and you must at least trust me without reservation before leaving this planet. How about it, Captain, what do you think?"

Hunter looked at Leon. he nodded slowly, stretched out his power fist, and collided with Leon's.

"We will also prove our sincerity," he said.
