Chapter 1 - One Soul, One Choice

He had died.

He remembered that much.

The pain had long faded—crushed metal, screaming tires, the scent of blood and asphalt. But even that felt distant now. Like a story someone else had lived.

Now there was only light.

Endless. Warm. Eternal.

He floated—no body, no form—just a presence in the void.

Then came the voice.

"Your karma… is vast."

It wasn't a voice that spoke with sound, but one that echoed directly into the soul—clear, gentle, absolute.

Before him stood an angel. Not wings-and-halo like the books described, but something far more—wings of starlight, a robe made from galaxies, and eyes like twin comets.

She smiled softly.

"You lived well. Without greed. Without cruelty. You made choices that shaped lives. And when you died… the scale of karma judged you worthy."

"You may now choose where to go next."

With a wave of her hand, a cosmic gate opened behind her—millions of stars, spiraling galaxies, each leading to a different world.

Marvel. DC. Cultivation Realms. Game Worlds. Horror Universes. Billions upon billions of timelines and realities.

"You may choose any world, any existence. You can even be a god, if that is your wish."

But the boy shook his head.

"I want the world of Pokémon."

The angel blinked.

Then smiled wider.

"A rare request… and a kind one. You could have had thrones, armies, immortality. But you chose a world of bonds."

He nodded. "Not just that. I want a real challenge. No cheat shop. No instant powers. Just me, my choices… and the people and Pokémon I meet."

The angel extended her hand, and a single golden window shimmered into being. It displayed one message:

💠 Karma Reward Access Unlocked 💠

Your karma is strong enough to grant you one unique, soul-bound ability.

Choose wisely. This will define your fate.

Dozens of glowing options appeared, rotating slowly like ancient relics.

• [Infinite Growth] – Your Pokémon can break Talent caps.

• [Immortal Trainer] – You never age or die.

• [Time Reset] – Once per life, reverse 10 years of time.

• [Skill Synthesis] – Combine move effects into new ones.

• [System Store] – Buy items with karma points.

…But none of them felt right.

He stared until one final option, hidden behind the rest, began to glow faintly—almost like it was waiting just for him.

[Talent Copy & Fusion System – Prototype Karma Core]

Defeat a human or Pokémon in battle to copy their Talent.

Assign any copied Talent to any of your Pokémon.

Fuse compatible Talents to create stronger or unique versions.

No system store. No inventory. No spatial storage.

Manual growth only. High risk, unlimited potential.

Your results depend on your wisdom, not your luck.

His heart—if he still had one—beat faster.

"This is it," he whispered. "This one."

The angel's smile turned into something almost proud.

"That path is harder than any other. But if anyone has the karma to make it work… it's you."

She raised her hand.

The world trembled.

"Very well. The Pokémon World will now be sealed for 100,000 years. No other reincarnated soul may follow. You are its only exception."

"You will be born to a humble family in Pallet Town. You will have no store. No cheat space. No shortcut but your will."

"But you will have Talent. And the freedom to rise as far as your courage allows."

The angel's wings folded around him.

"Now go. Change the world."

Darkness again.

And then—

A baby's cry.

A woman's voice, weeping in joy. A man shouting, "He's beautiful!"

He was alive.

Reborn.

His second life had begun.

And the world… had no idea what was coming.
