Ayan wasn't actively looking for a new relationship after his breakup with Kriii. He needed some time to himself, some space to figure things out. But things have a way of happening when you least expect them.

During his relationship with Khwaish, Ayan had made a female best friend named Khushi. They didn't talk much then, but after the breakup, Ayan started talking to her more. They became close, chatting daily, just two friends sharing their lives online. It was nice to have someone to talk to regularly, someone who understood what he was going through. But then something changed.

Ayan pretended he was coming to her city, just as a joke. Her response was unexpected: "Don't come here, I'll be in danger." That reply stung. It felt like she was pushing him away, so he decided to stop talking to her altogether.

Not long after that, another girl entered Ayan's life—Abhiti Jain. She joined a group chat he was in, right around the time things ended with Kriii.

The breakup with Kriii had been messy. After it ended, she rejoined their group chat and started throwing insults at Ayan. He fought back, of course, but it was exhausting. Amid all this chaos, Abhiti appeared—a breath of fresh air. Ayan started talking to her, asking the usual questions, getting to know her. Before he knew it, she was into him, and things moved quickly from there.

There's a saying: "Don't love those who don't love you back; love those who do." Ayan decided to take that advice to heart. Why not give it a try with Abhiti? She seemed interested, and he was curious.

Abhiti had three things that stood out about her:

She had strict parents. She described herself as a horny girl. She constantly wanted attention.

Ayan figured there was no harm in seeing where things could go. They started a relationship, and it escalated quickly. She was good at conversation, making him feel like she was serious about them. She even had a male best friend at school but said she would unfriend him because she had Ayan now. That got to him. It felt genuine.

They talked for hours every day—four, sometimes five hours straight. She'd share stories about her life, like how her female best friend was terrible, how she got into watching hentai, even claiming she got drunk at school. Some of it sounded fake, like the school part, but Ayan went along with it. It was entertaining, if nothing else.

Then things got more intense. Their conversations turned explicit. They planned out scenarios for when they would meet, fantasized about dates, about kissing, sex, and more. It was all talk, but it felt real in the moment.

One day, Ayan's phone software got corrupted, and they didn't talk for three days. When he finally got his phone back, things were different. She was distant, distracted, and started cutting his calls. She'd call back hours later, saying her dad had caught her talking to him. The story didn't make sense—she wasn't even supposed to be at home. It felt like an excuse.

She kept getting busier and busier, and Ayan could feel the distance growing. Finally, he had enough.

"Let's break up," he said.

"Why?" she asked.

"You don't have time for me," he replied.

"I do, baby. I'm always free for you," she insisted.

"Then why are you ignoring me?" he pressed.

"I'm not ignoring you, babyyyyyyyy," she drawled.

But Ayan had made up his mind. "I still want to break up," he said firmly.

And just like that, it was over. She didn't fight it, didn't seem to care much at all. It was almost too easy, like she was waiting for it.

This relationship, Ayan realized, was never really about love or deep feelings. It was more about exploring something new, testing the waters. And now that it was over, he felt oddly at peace. He wasn't in a rush to find someone else. He'd learned that sometimes, it's better to be alone and figure things out than to jump into something that doesn't feel right.

For now, Ayan decided to give up on online relationships. They were too unpredictable, too chaotic. Khushi was still there, a friend on the periphery of his life, but he didn't talk to her much anymore.

He was moving on—slowly, surely. And that was all that mattered for now.
