Chapter 65 - Chapter 65 - It Was Indeed the Hammer of the Heavens

A day later, an uninvited guest arrived at the Blue Tyrant Academy.

Li Yusong, the gatekeeper, caught sight of the bright red robe the guest was wearing and widened his eyes in shock.

The robe was adorned with golden and silver patterns, and a gold gemstone the size of a baby's fist hung on the chest.

Li Yusong, a knowledgeable man, recognized it immediately.

A Titled Douluo!

This was a ceremonial robe that only a Titled Douluo certified by the Spirit Hall could wear.

The Titled Douluo, who appeared elegant and whose age or gender could not be determined, spoke indifferently:

"Is this the Blue Tyrant Academy?"

The panicked Li Yusong quickly replied,

"Your Excellency, yes, this is indeed the Blue Tyrant Academy."

"Do you have a student named Tang San here?"

"Your Excellency, yes, there is such a student."

"Take me to him. I have something to ask him."

"Uh… well…"

Li Yusong was dumbfounded. Before Yue Guan arrived, both Dugu Bo and Yu Xiaowei had warned him.

If someone came looking for Tang San, they were not to allow it.

But they hadn't said what to do if a Titled Douluo came looking for Tang San.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

Seeing Li Yusong's hesitation, Yue Guan narrowed his eyes and asked, displeased.

"Teacher Li, allow me to receive this senior."

Hearing that familiar voice, Yue Guan immediately recalled the boy who had taken the Qirong Tongtian Chrysanthemum from the Great Star Dou Forest.

Once he clearly saw the figure behind Li Yusong, his expression brightened. He flashed in front of Yu Xiaowei, staring at the tall boy before him with satisfaction, as if admiring a piece of art.

"Not bad, not bad. Qi flows through the limbs, blood through the eight meridians, and the medicinal power of the Qirong Tongtian Chrysanthemum has been fully absorbed."

"What a pity. Turns out he's the stubborn nephew of Yu Yuanzhen. Damn it, if he were my disciple, he'd at least be in the Spirit Hall by now."

Yue Guan felt more and more regretful. Such a fine seedling was held by that old man Yu Yuanzhen, and he couldn't help but curse.

Yu Xiaowei said nothing but chuckled quietly.

This damned demon couldn't even see through Gu Rong's disguise and mistook him for just another soul master.

"Senior, please follow me. I'll take you to see Tang San."

"Alright."

Yue Guan nodded. The more he looked at Yu Xiaowei, the more he liked him. But when he thought of Yu Yuanzhen's irritating face, he couldn't help but sigh to the sky.

Why wasn't this talent born into our Spirit Hall?!

Along the way, Yu Xiaowei led Yue Guan through the Blue Tyrant Academy, pointing out various features along the way.

When Yue Guan saw the students running around the training ground, he snorted in disdain.

"This kind of training is for barbarians."

"Oh? Senior, do you have a better method?"

"Of course. In our Spirit Hall Academy, we all…"

At that point, Yue Guan suddenly fell silent.

Seeing that he didn't continue, Yu Xiaowei didn't press the matter and led him further, proudly pointing to a newly built simulation training environment.

"Senior, please look. This is a simulation training environment sponsored by our Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon family. It's the most advanced one currently. With this, our students' training speed has improved by several levels compared to before."

This time, Yue Guan didn't belittle the Blue Tyrant Academy and nodded.

"This is indeed quite good. Your Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon family has really put effort into your academy."

Then, he asked — either intentionally or unintentionally:

"What's the highest spirit power level among the students at your academy?"

"Heh, don't even bring it up. It's just level 39. Embarrassing. Oh, by the way, senior, that person is my nephew. His talent is a bit poor. I hope you can help guide him when you meet him."

"Hey, why not let me guide you?"

Yue Guan was a bit surprised. Who wouldn't want guidance from a Super Douluo? Why did this kid push him toward his nephew instead?

But Yu Xiaowei's next words almost made him choke.

"My uncle wouldn't allow it. He says you're not a good person and might sell me off like Salas did."

"That damn Yu Yuanzhen, that old bastard!"

Yue Guan glared at Yu Xiaowei with a dark expression.

Is this brat really honest, or just pretending? Can't he tell what's appropriate to say out loud?!

Especially saying it right in front of me!

"Stop talking nonsense and keep leading the way."

"Alright—"

After traversing much of the campus, Yu Xiaowei led Yue Guan into a lush forest.

Though it seemed like a normal forest, there was a small poison formation within — impossible to cross without a school warrant.

"Hmm? This poison formation…"

Yue Guan recognized the formation and was slightly surprised.

Yu Xiaowei smiled as he took out the warrant and said:

"It was designed by Teacher Dugu Bo. He's now a visiting professor at our academy."

"Dugu Bo, that old poisoner, is your teacher?"

Yue Guan was even more surprised. That old poisoner had been his rival for decades — the two had fought countless times.

Dugu Bo's greatest skill was poison, but fortunately, Yue Guan's Qirong Tongtian Chrysanthemum suppressed all poisons.

So every time they fought, he would beat that poisonous old freak.

However, Dugu Bo possessed a Medusa spirit bone, which was incredibly troublesome and could petrify spirit power.

Yue Guan had tried to kill him a few times, but each time Dugu Bo escaped using the Medusa gaze.

"Yes, senior. Teacher Dugu owes me 3 million gold soul coins and couldn't repay it, so he came to work at the academy to pay off his debt."

"There, senior — Tang San is right over there."

Yue Guan snapped out of his thoughts at the phrase "working to pay off a debt." He never imagined that a dignified Titled Douluo would be so poor.

Putting aside the strange thoughts, he saw a skinny boy led out from a dark room by Yu Xiaowei.

The boy was pale and thin, staggering, with a black cloth covering his eyes. He collapsed after just two steps out the door.

Yu Xiaowei pointed at Tang San mercilessly and said:

"This kid made a mistake, so he's being punished. Senior, feel free to ask him anything. Once you're done, he has to go back to continue his punishment."

Yue Guan's mouth twitched. What kind of academy was this? The punishments were so cruel?

Even the Spirit Hall Academy had strict standards, but they didn't torture students like this.

Still, he had no sympathy for Tang San — rumored to be an enemy of the Spirit Hall.

Yue Guan's wide red robe fluttered silently as a tremendous, invisible pressure fell on Tang San.

"Aaaah——"

Tang San screamed in pain.

The overwhelming pressure made his body tremble, and his Blue Silver Grass Spirit automatically released to try and resist the force of the Titled Douluo's spirit power.

It had to be said that Yue Guan was far more precise than Dugu Bo when manipulating spirit power. The pressure he applied to Tang San was calculated perfectly.

Not enough to accidentally kill him, but just enough to test his spirit.

If Dugu Bo had tried this test, Tang San would've died the moment he released his power.

"Thirteen years old, Blue Silver Grass Spirit, level 31 spirit power — it all matches. The information is most likely accurate."

Yue Guan nodded silently and increased the pressure further.

Tang San, lying on the ground, was already drenched in cold sweat.

He tried to use Xuan Tian Gong to ease the pressure inside his body, but after five days of starvation, his limbs were weak and his spirit power circulated sluggishly. He couldn't resist it at all.

"If I can't stop it, I'll die. If I can't stop it, I'll die. If I can't stop it, I'll die."

The thought of death filled Tang San's mind, and once it appeared, it spread uncontrollably.

He had already died once.

He didn't want to die again!!!

"Haah!!!"

With a low cry, Tang San's left hand burst with a dark light, gradually condensing into a shape.

A small black hammer silently appeared in his hand.

Seeing the deep, faint pattern on the hammer, Yue Guan's eyes lit up with a grin.

"It's really a twin spirit! That's definitely the Clear Sky Hammer!"
