Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Eating hot pot and singing

In the dark clouds, two bolts of lightning suddenly struck, one landing on the mast and the other on the canvas.

There was heavy rain mixed with the strong wind, and raindrops as big as beans hit the deck. The water flowed down from both sides of the ship like a waterfall, and after being swept into the sea, it quickly rose up, forming huge waves like the claws of a wild beast, which knocked the ship to and fro.

But in this wind and rain, you can still faintly hear the sounds of liveliness.

The building on the deck has three floors and is used to carry passengers, so it occupies a large area. The first floor is a banquet hall similar to that of merchant ships and cruise ships, which was preserved by Sager.

The second floor is the captain's room, but compared to the looted warship, this place is much larger and can be used as a living room. Of course, it belongs to Sag.

The third floor is where the command room, control room and conference room are integrated. It can be used for meetings of cadres in the future. Lily and Renetia can command, observe and drive from above.

As for Sager's treasure, he placed it in the central room on the first floor of the cabin and asked Renetia to add power. The material of the ship itself would not be destroyed by artillery fire, and it would be even more impossible to destroy it in the center. With the power, the surrounding area of the treasury could maintain movement, so even if someone broke in, it could not be easily opened.

Of course, this thing can only prevent petty theft. If you really encounter a strong man, either the loser will be left to eat dust, or the winner will take all.

"Yo-ho-ho, yo-ho-ho~ho."

"Yo-ho-ho, yo-ho~ho-ho!"

The banquet hall on the first floor was brightly lit, emitting a golden color. A group of pirates were feasting and drinking with each other in the hall. There were only about thirty people, and they did not take up much space in the hall, but the noise they made was quite loud.

At the top of the hall, under the throne, there was a beautifully decorated round table where Sager, Lily, and Renetia sat around, cooking hot pot.

Sager wore a string of red jade beads around his neck, a thick gold bracelet on his left wrist, a green jade ring on his left thumb, two gold rings on his index finger and little finger, and gemstones and gold rings on his index, middle and little finger of his right hand. He was holding a pair of chopsticks, picking up the meat from the hot pot and stuffing it into his mouth.

Not affected at all by the storm outside.

Neither Lily, the navigator, nor Renetia, the boatman, panicked.

Instead, he used chopsticks to pick up food from the hot pot with relish.

"Make it more lively!"

Sager poured himself a glass of wine, drank it in one gulp, and shouted to the pirates in front of him: "Sing for me!"

There are, of course, many pirate songs, and the one being sung now is none other than 'Bink's Wine', an ancient but ever-popular song on the sea.

Eating hotpot and singing songs to welcome the storm also has some flavor.

As for Lily, she would look out the window at the wind and rain from time to time, with a hint of worry in her eyes.

Renetia didn't care. She used the chopsticks in her little hands to pick up food desperately, her eyes shining.

"This is delicious, this is delicious too! I just added some seasoning to the water, but why does it taste so good? It's so strange!"

"It's a rainy day, so it's nice to eat hotpot. It's raining outside, but it's so lively inside. How nice."

Sager raised his glass towards the lively pirates and smiled: "I can live a lifetime with days like this."

"Is it really okay?" Lily pursed her lips and said, "Maybe I should try harder."

"Don't worry! The ship I built can definitely withstand storms of this magnitude. It won't be damaged at all!" Renetia was full of confidence.

Since Sager came out of the Kingdom of Natia, he has even become accustomed to storms like this.

Originally, he was thinking that the treasures that the Kingdom of Natia had plundered with great effort were in his hands, and the built ships were also in his hands. Was it a sign of good fortune after bad times?

After all, he has been unlucky for so long, it's finally his turn.

But just as he had this thought, God told him that this bad luck was still very strong.

The storm never stopped.

At the beginning, Lily was very diligent and responsible. She directed people to raise or lower the sails at any time of day or night so as to sail out of the storm zone as soon as possible.

Then

the storm seemed to have consciousness. No matter which direction Lily sailed the boat, the storm would drift in that direction. She had clearly estimated the wind direction and was sure that the rain clouds in the sky would not move, but as soon as the boat left, even the wind direction changed.

I don't know whether it was because Sag's luck was too bad or the background of this ship was too dark.

In the end, Lily simply gave up.

Anyway, the ship won't be damaged, so let's just leave it at that. I'm tired.

This is why there is a scene where there is a raging storm with huge waves outside, but inside there is a lively and bustling scene with singing and dancing.

It is a bit moldy, as the banquet can only be held inside, but with the shelter of the ship, it doesn't matter.

Just like Sag himself, although he is very unlucky, his strength can ensure that he will not be greatly affected.

As for the problem of wind direction,

although the ship is affected by strong winds, it has its own power system. When necessary, it can just retract the sails and add fuel to use power. With Renetia here, even this does not need to be done.

She is the power person herself, applying power at any time to make the ship sail towards its destination.

As for the storm, no one cares about it anymore.

Sager even found some seasonings in the kitchen, made a hot pot, and ate the meat directly.

The ingredients for hot pot are not particular, as long as it is edible, it will become delicious after being dipped in hot pot.

It's not that I have to do it myself, but the main reason is that none of these pirates can cook. They are good at drinking, but cooking is simply roasting or cooking something. There was not much food before, so they can eat it.

Now that so many supplies have been confiscated, including precious ingredients from the kingdom, simply roasting them would be too appetizing.

Sager comes here to enjoy himself, not to suffer, so there is no need to be so stingy.

"So, being my subordinate, you can also enjoy the happiness together!"

Sager raised his glass to his men from a distance and laughed, "Young men, work hard. When you get me a big territory, I will take you to have banquets all day long!"

"Oh!!" the pirates shouted excitedly.

"Sager, don't you want to try my fried egg?" Lily looked at Sag expectantly.

Sager pulled the corner of his mouth slightly and said, "I've been eating too many eggs recently. Let's do it next time."

"Where's Letty?" Lily looked at Renidia.

"I'm allergic to eggs!" Renetia said with such finality.

Around the hot pot, there were several stacks of things that were most likely eggs.

Because Sager went into the kitchen, Lily also became interested and went into the kitchen to show off her cooking skills. Her favorite thing was eggs, so she made fried eggs.

As for why it is most likely an egg,

it is because the thing has turned as black as a ball of charcoal. If it were not for food, one would have thought it was some kind of burning wood.

Other people's omelette is made by cooking eggs into a delicious dish, but Lily's omelette is just frying the eggs.

Even the key to the problem is not here!

Sager clearly remembered that there were no eggs in the food supplies. Except for his lower body, there was not even an egg in the entire ship!

What on earth is this "egg fried" made of?
