“They aren’t crumbs,” I corrected, plopping another cookie into my mouth defiantly. “They’re limited-edition handmade butter cookies from the renowned Queen of Cookies bakery in town.”
“You should be having proper meals, not indulging in this ‘Queen of Cookies.’ You’re not planning to skip dinner again after eating all of these, are you?”
