King Potter sat alone in the Palace courtyard deep in thought. He had just sent a messenger to Tarah's war camp to tell them about their willingness to put an end to the war. King Potter had everything planned out; he had been preparing for the war even long before he became the king of Dexon. He had the determination that he wouldn't be ruled as a king by another king, but things didn't go as he planned. Not because he didn't plan it well, he had even prepared against the most feared man in Tarah 'General Robert the Strong.'
General Robert the Strong is the General and the leader of Tarah's armies. It is known that he had never lost a battle; rumors had it that he sacrificed his wife's womb to Ares, the god of war, to become undefeated, for so he was feared even among his soldiers. But King Potter had even prepared against him, and he had the chance to win against the undefeated Robert the Strong, who he didn't prepare against was the Supreme King Orlando's second son, Prince Gregory, and his guard called Bloodeye because of his red eyeball.
Prince Gregory was a strange child since birth. His mother was said to be a goddess King Orlando had sex with when he was younger. The story was that King Orlando had met this strange woman whose nobody knows his name on the High Clif of Bida on his way back to Tarah when coming back from a visit to one of the kingdoms under his command, the strange woman invited him to her cabin the king ate, drank and passed the night at the cabin. A year and a half later, the woman showed up at the Palace with a child she claims belongs to the King. King Orlando accepted the child and named him Gregory.
The strange woman disappeared after that never to be seen again. No one knew who she was, but some claimed she was a goddess and the king should have known, but he was blinded by her beauty. Gregory grew up fast, he was anything but a normal child. He was smarter for his age, grew up to love fighting, and often picked up swords bigger than him, claiming he wanted to learn how to use them. The supreme king appointed Robert the Strong to become his personal sword teacher, and even Robert was surprised at how fast he learned. It frightened him, and he claimed the child Gregory was special, but more was yet to come.
It happened when Gregory was about 13 years old; he had gotten into a fight with his half-brother Peter, born to the king by his Queen, Queen Isabella, making him the legitimate Prince and next to the crown. Peter likes to mock and laugh at Gregory, calling him the bastard son and asking questions like where his mother was. Gregory had gotten so angry one day that he unknowingly manifested fire around him as his anger grew and nearly burnt his half-brother alive.
It was later known that he possessed the power to conjure fire out of thin air, so his father, Supreme King Orlando, sent him to the Benin Kingdom, a Kingdom known for its magic, so Gregory could learn to control his power and also learn the art of war.
Gregory returns ten years later, just before the war between Tarah and Dexon starts; he doesn't return alone; King Akenzua of Benin kingdom takes so much liking to Gregory that he gives him a personal guard called Bloodeye.
King Potter might have planned against Robert the Strong but not against Gregory and his guard Bloodeye; the soldiers of Dexon couldn't stand against these three bloodthirsty strange men, especially Prince Gregory, who burned at every chance he gets; the soldiers fear him at the battle more than Robert the Strong.
