Chapter 1 - Unnamed

The smell of rot and decay is ingrained in every corner of the world. The sun, breaking through the smoke of the fires, illuminated the ruins of cities turned into cemeteries. Jungkook, clutching a homemade knife, crept along the collapsed wall of the supermarket. His gaze, sharp and alert, scanned every dark corner, every rustle. He was alone. It's been like this for too long.

He remembered how it all started. Screams, panic, blood. Family… He squeezed his eyes shut, pushing away the memories. Pain was his constant companion, and loneliness was his only refuge.

Suddenly, a figure jumped out from around the corner. Jeongguk immediately crouched down, preparing to attack, but froze. It was a man. He was young, with disheveled blond hair and frightened eyes.

"Don't shoot! Please!" A trembling voice sounded.

Jeongguk slowly stood up without lowering the knife. "Who are you?"

"Jimin... my name is Jimin. I'm... I'm just looking for food."

Jeongguk was silent, assessing him. Jimin looked weak and exhausted. He was the complete opposite of Jeongguk, who seemed to be carved out of stone, tempered in the crucible of the apocalypse.

"Why would I spare you?" Jeongguk growled. "You're a burden."

Jimin lowered his head. "I know. But... I can be useful. I can cook... and... I can keep an eye on the camp while you hunt."

Jeongguk chuckled. "The camp? I don't have a camp. I'm wandering."

"Then… I can roam with you. You are welcome. I don't want to die alone."

Something in Jimin's voice, in his desperate look, made Jeongguk flinch. He saw it as a reflection of his own pain, his own desire not to be alone.

"Okay," Jeongguk muttered. "But if you let me down..."

That's how their life together began. Jeongguk, silent and stern, taught Jimin how to survive. How to handle weapons correctly, how to recognize zombie tracks, how to find water and food. Jimin, in turn, was trying to melt the ice in Jungkook's heart. He told stories, sang songs, tried to make jokes. At first, Jungkook ignored him, but gradually, unbeknownst to himself, he began to listen to his voice, notice his smile.

One day, during a supply run, they were ambushed. The zombies surrounded them, cutting off their escape routes. Jeongguk fought fiercely, fighting off the encroaching dead. At some point, one of the zombies charged at Jimin. Jeongguk, without hesitation, rushed to intercept, pushing Jimin aside. The zombie clung to his arm.

Pain shot through his entire body. Jeongguk pushed the zombie away and finished him off, but it was too late. He knew he was infected.

Jimin screamed in horror when he saw the wound. "No way! Jeongguk! No way!"

Jungkook, ignoring the pain, grabbed Jimin's hand and cupped his face in his hands.

"I know what fear is. But this is different. I love you for your strength, for your kindness, which you hide so carefully. I love you for teaching me how to survive, but most of all I love you for showing me that even in this hell you can find hope."

Jungkook looked into his eyes and saw sincerity, love and... forgiveness in them. He was a murderer, a loner, did he deserve this?

He closed his eyes, letting the tears roll down his cheeks. "I... I also..."

He didn't finish his sentence. Pain shot through his body, and his consciousness began to blur. He felt Jimin hug him, holding him close.

"It's going to be okay," Jimin whispered. "I'm right here."

Jungkook opened his eyes and saw Jimin's face in front of him, bathed in tears but full of love. He smiled, a faint, sincere smile.

"Thank you," he whispered.

And the world plunged into darkness.

Jimin remained sitting next to Jungkook's body, hugging him.

The sun has risen. When the first rays touched his face, he stood up. He was ready.

He left the building and headed east, towards the rising sun. He didn't know what lay ahead. But he knew one thing: he would not give up. He's going to fight. He will live. He will remember Jeongguk.

He walked for a long time, encountering zombies, looters, and other survivors along the way. He fought, defended, helped. He became as strong as Jungkook. He became wise, like Jungkook. He became loving, like Jungkook.

He never forgot Jeongguk. He always remembered his words, his smile, his love. He always carried his knife as a talisman, as a reminder that even in this cursed world, one can find hope.

One day, he met a group of survivors who were building a new settlement. They worked together to restore peace, to create a new society based on love, compassion and mutual assistance.

Jimin joined them. He helped build houses, grow food, and protect the settlement. He shared his knowledge, his experience, his love.

He became a leader like Jungkook.

Jimin stayed with Jungkook until the end, their love overcame the fear of death.

And Jimin, remembering Chonguk, survived and helped build a new settlement, becoming a symbol of hope.

One day, he met Taehyung, and seeing echoes of Jungkook in him, he continued to carry their love into a new world. Their story has become a legend about how love can win even in the darkest of times.

Jimin became a leader, just like Jungkook. He taught others to survive, to fight, to love. I told them about Chonguk, his strength, his kindness, his love. I also told them that even in this hell you can find hope.

And people listened to him. They believed him. They saw in him the light that illuminated their path. They saw Jeongguk in him.

One day, when Jimin was patrolling the neighborhood of the settlement, he saw him. Tall, strong, with a familiar look. He stood in the middle of the field, surrounded by zombies, and fought them with fury and grace.

Jimin froze. He couldn't believe his eyes. It was Taehyung.

And then, I rushed to his aid, making my way through the crowd of zombies. He fought alongside him, shoulder to shoulder, as if they had always been together.

When the last zombie fell, they looked at each other. In Taehyung's eyes, Jimin saw echoes of Jungkook. He saw the same strength, the same kindness, the same love.

"Who are you?" Jimin asked, panting with excitement.

"My name is Taehyung," he replied. "I survived."

Jimin smiled. "I know," he said. "Me too."

He told Taehyung about Jungkook, about their love, about their sacrifice. He told him about the settlement, about hope, about the new world they were building.

Taehyung listened to him without interrupting. He understood, felt, and knew.

He joined the settlement. He became part of their family. He became a part of their hope.

Together they continued to build a new world based on love, compassion and mutual help. They remembered Jeongguk together. Together they carried his love into the future.

Their story has become a legend. A legend about how love can win even in the darkest of times. The legend of Jeongguk, Jimin and Taehyung. The legend of hope.

Their legend grew like the roots of a sturdy tree, penetrating the hearts of more and more people. The settlement grew, attracting survivors from all corners of the devastated land. Jimin and Taehyung were like two pillars supporting him, guiding and inspiring him. Jimin, with his experience and wisdom gained at the cost of losing Jungkook, was the voice of reason and compassion. Taehyung, with his indomitable strength and echoes of Jeongguk's love, was a shield and a sword protecting the settlement from external threats.

They created a learning system where everyone could share their knowledge and skills. They taught us to survive, to fight, to build, to grow, to heal. But most importantly, they taught love, compassion, and hope. They told stories about the past, about how the world was destroyed, but they always emphasized that the future was in their hands.

Taehyung often trained with young fighters, passing on to them the skills that Jungkook might once have passed on. He taught them not only to kill, but also to protect, not only to survive, but also to live. He saw potential in each of them, a spark of hope that needed to be rekindled.

Jimin, in turn, worked with the children, telling them stories about the heroes of the past, about love and friendship, about how important it is to help each other. He taught them to read and write so that they could preserve their knowledge and pass it on to future generations. He wanted them to grow up not just as survivors, but as people capable of building a better world.

One day, during a long-range outing for supplies, Taehyung encountered a group of looters who terrorized the surrounding settlements. They were cruel and ruthless, and their only purpose was to rob and kill. Taehyung knew that if he didn't stop them, they would reach their settlement.

He returned to the settlement and told Jimin about his meeting. Together they developed a plan to stop the looters. They knew it would be a dangerous operation, but they couldn't let them threaten their people.

Jimin and Taehyung gathered a squad of the best fighters and went in search of looters. They tracked them down to an abandoned city, where they set up their base. At night, under cover of darkness, they attacked them.

The battle was fierce and bloody. The looters fought back fiercely, but Taehyung and his squad were better prepared and motivated. They fought with fury and determination, defending their loved ones and their home.

In the end, the marauders were defeated. Taehyung personally fought their leader and defeated him in a fair fight. He spared his life, but warned that if he appeared in their lands again, he would not be so merciful.

Back at the settlement, Taehyung and Jimin were greeted as heroes. Their feat has strengthened people's faith that they can build a better world, even in this cursed place.

The years passed. The settlement grew and prospered. Jimin and Taehyung had grown old, but their love and dedication to each other remained unchanged. They continued to lead the settlement, passing on their knowledge and experience to new generations.

One day, sitting by the campfire, Jimin looked at Taehyung and smiled. "We did it," Taehyung nodded, and smiling, told Jimin, "I'm going to go get some firewood, or the fire will go out soon," Jimin nodded to him, and when Tae went to get some firewood, Jim looked up at the sky, and remembering Jeong's smile, said.
