Ever since I was young I always wanted to be an awakener. I was jealous of those who already had access to such special powers at such a young age. But I guess I don't have to feel jealous anymore.

As Jay was put on the cross more and more people flooded inside the church to see. Jay felt a sharp pain fill his entire body but tried to ignore it. The other cripples were starting to arrive and more and more got on the crosses, the tension in the room was growing.
'It's embarrassing to die like this,' Jay thought. 'Why can't I just have a peaceful death.'
'The people watching are disgraceful. What's wrong with them?' Jay thought, 'Might as well die on my own terms.'
"Everyone watching us right now can go fuck themselves!" Jay's voice echoed throughout the room.
"You'd be in the same position if you were born powerless and yet you're here watching all 14 of us suffer until we eventually die! Just kill yourself for gods sake. Yet you have the audacity to say your training is hard. I'd die for your training. I'm dying right now."
A moment of silence fell upon the crowd.
"We're not the ones on the cross though."
"This is why cripples like you deserve to die."
"Who does he think he is?"
"Looks like someone's jealous."
"Why don't you go fuck yourself."
"Someone skin him alive, maybe then he'll stay silent."
"."
.
Jay isn't usually like this. Normally he just stays to himself and does his own thing. But today he was different. If he was gonna die he was gonna die spreading his truth. Spreading what it's like to be a cripple.
"Why don't you all just shut the fuck up for me?" An aura of chakra burst across the room.
A voice in Jay's mind whispered, "Welcome to the group, awakener."
