Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Perfect Wood Release Kekkei Genkai

[Mission complete. Commencing mission summary.]

The indifferent voice of the Lord God rang out. Both Orochimaru and Tsunade stopped mid-conversation, their expressions turning serious.

[Mission: Victory of the Land of Fire — complete. Objectives achieved: Defeated Hanzo the Salamander, defeated one Kage-level opponent, killed three Jonin and twenty-seven Chunin.

Mission Rating: A

Bonus Reward: One Bronze Treasure Chest (value: 500 points)

Total Points Earned: 9,150]

Bronze Treasure Chest!

Tsunade's eyes lit up. A gacha draw? That was her favorite thing! Compared to that, she practically forgot about the 9,000 points.

In truth, if not for defeating Hanzo, she would have earned only 4,150 points. Hanzo alone was a major bounty.

[S-Rank Solo Mission: Assassination — Complete]

[Objective: Eliminate enemy shinobi during the upcoming battle. Earn points per confirmed kill. Minimum requirement: kill at least ten Jonin.]

[Mission Rating: B

Bonus Reward: 100 points

Total Points Earned: 8,300]

Orochimaru's expression didn't change. He already had a clear idea of how many enemies he had eliminated and thus expected the point total.

The B rating likely came from not defeating—or killing—a Kage-level opponent.

Wait… doesn't Hanzo count as Kage-level?

The Lord God's voice continued:

[This mission is now concluded. The next will be a co-op mission, scheduled to begin in 27 days.

Mission details can be unlocked one day prior using points. Please prepare accordingly.]

This message echoed in both Tsunade and Orochimaru's minds.

They both paused, glancing at each other. Co-op mission? Meaning the next one would require cooperation?

"Tsunade! Orochimaru! Stop standing around and help already!" Jiraiya struggled to his feet, shouting at the two.

"Ah—on it." They snapped out of their thoughts.

There was no point overthinking now. No one knew how the Lord God intended to structure the missions.

If they were paired together, that was fine—they'd worked together for years and understood each other well. But the concern was being teamed up with other unfamiliar Reincarnators…

Pushing the thought aside, Tsunade used the last of her chakra to summon a slug about the length of an arm. It immediately began healing the more seriously wounded ninjas.

She then pulled out pre-prepared antidotes to detoxify the poisoned Konoha shinobi.

Many of them had been paralyzed by Hanzo's poison mist before they could even take Tsunade's antidote. That alone showed the terrifying potency of Hanzo's poison.

Now that the incident was over, Nawaki's attention shifted back from Tsunade, and he eagerly opened his system interface.

With the leftover 8,000+ points plus the new gains…

His total now stood at 23,250 points!

That was more than enough to unlock prerequisites for a powerful bloodline!

Of course, Nawaki's Lord God framework wasn't fully built yet, so he wouldn't waste his points carelessly.

"Per the plan, first unlock a teleportation function. It will let Reincarnators freely travel between the Naruto World and their personal space, expanding the range of possible missions…"

Nawaki selected the teleport function—cost: 3,000 points.

The next upgrade would allow interdimensional travel, letting Reincarnators teleport freely between previously visited worlds. But that upgrade cost 30,000 points—too expensive for now.

"Next, a healing function. Reincarnators should get a full-body restoration after completing each mission. Consider it a welfare perk—thank me later! From now on, who dares say I'm a miser or a penny-pincher?"

Nawaki laughed as he unlocked the healing function—cost: 3,000 points.

It was a necessary feature. He didn't want his Reincarnators returning from a few missions missing limbs or eyes like a bunch of war veterans.

With the healing function, not only would they be sustainable, but he could also justify increasing the mission difficulty. As long as they didn't die, broken bones or dismemberment were minor issues, right?

…Wait, does a broken hymen count as an injury? Would the healing fix that too?

(TL/N - Universal Question-_-)

Ahem. Moving on.

"With teleportation and healing functions set, and mission parameters now defined, I should also start constructing the Reincarnator Plaza. That means I need to redeem a private space."

Nawaki scanned the exchange list, frowning.

A cylindrical space with a 100-meter diameter cost 100,000 points.

A 10-meter one only needed 10,000 points… but that was tiny!

Calling that a Reincarnator Plaza? Might as well call it a Reincarnator Outhouse.

He temporarily shelved the idea of building the plaza.

Instead, he redeemed nine Reincarnator slots—cost: 4,500 points.

Combined with the original four, he now had a cap of thirteen Reincarnators, with eleven available slots.

After all these redemptions, his remaining points dropped to 12,700.

"Since I'm out of ideas for now, let's focus on improving my own strength. That way I won't end up as cannon fodder in some political struggle."

Even if 12,000 points couldn't buy a god-tier bloodline, it was still enough to significantly boost his own power.

After all, Nawaki was a direct descendant of the Senju clan—the grandson of Hashirama Senju himself—and already possessed the Sage Body.

Naturally, the most fitting exchange was:

[Wood Release Kekkei Genkai(Bloodline Limit)]

That way, if anyone questioned him, he could just say he inherited it from Hashirama, and it had only awakened recently.

Who would dare doubt that?

He was only twelve. Awakening a bloodline at that age was perfectly normal.

[Host possesses the Sage Body and Hashirama's direct bloodline. Redeeming Perfect Wood Release Kekkei Genkai will cost only 20% of the standard price. Required points: 10,000. Proceed?]

"Yes."

(Note: Because the number of Reincarnators doubled, Tsunade mistakenly thinks he's spent 100,000 points.)

Once the exchange was complete, Nawaki felt a strange sensation—as if every cell in his body was cheering and overflowing with vitality. Something deep in his genetic code had awakened.

Perfect Wood Release Kekkei Genkai!

This was a Lord God-exclusive redemption, solving all compatibility issues and even surpassing Hashirama's original version.

Lord God exclusives weren't anything like the generic bloodlines available to regular Reincarnators.

Just look at the healing factor alone—

The Wood Release chakra had formed a life source within his body, constantly nourishing his cells.

His body began to itch—a sign of wounds rapidly healing.

If he could see his injuries, he'd find tiny flesh buds sprouting and knitting tissue back together.

This regenerative ability didn't drain cellular vitality—instead, it nourished it, potentially extending lifespan.

At this rate… my wounds should be completely healed by tomorrow.

Nawaki felt both thrilled and a little uneasy.
