Chapter 13 - A new beginning

Early morning.

The girls woke up early and got ready for work. After breakfast, they headed out. At work, everyone was surprised to see Yoojin—because she had changed. She was no longer hiding in her shell. She had become more beautiful, more open, and always smiling. Everyone was happy to see this change.

However, some coworkers were still scared of Asilzoda and Bahora. The way Asilzoda had acted back then had frightened them—no one had been able to stop her. And no one had forgotten the anger in Bahora's eyes either.

Work was getting busier—more projects, more ideas—and the girls' lives were getting more exciting by the day. Finally, the promised day off arrived. It was the day they would go on their outing.

The girls gathered near Yoojin's house. Yoojin came downstairs, ready to go. The girls were waiting in a very fancy and expensive car.

Yoojin:

"Wow, girls! Do you really have a car like this?"

Bahora:

"No, this one belongs to my younger brother. We just borrowed it for the day."

Asilzoda:

"Borrowed? More like you snatched it from him."

Bahora:

"What?"

Asilzoda:

"Poor Yusuf begged you so much. You promised him you'd be careful and not damage the car. Remember what your dad said too."

Bahora:

"Aghhh, you sound just like my mom now. Alright, stop talking and get in already. Or we'll be late!"

Yoojin:

"Late for what?"

Asilzoda:

"Bahora planned this day out in detail. She's been looking forward to it for a long time."

They all got into the car.

Bahora:

"Girls, buckle your seat belts. I'm starting the car."

Asilzoda:

"Please say 'Bismillah' before driving."

But Bahora didn't hear her. Bahora loved driving—but she drove very fast, and it was dangerous. They arrived at the plaza in 30 minutes.

Yoojin jumped out of the car—Bahora's driving had scared her, and she felt nauseous. Asilzoda got out calmly and slowly. Yoojin approached her.

Yoojin:

"How can you drive that fast? It usually takes two hours to get here, and we came in 30 minutes! And how are you so calm?"

Asilzoda:

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it."

She smiled gently.

Bahora:

"Here we are—Gwanghwamun Plaza, the biggest plaza in South Korea!

If you only knew how long I've waited for this day. Alright girls, where should we go first? Pick something!"

Asilzoda:

"Yoojin, you choose. I'm not good at making decisions. And I doubt Bahora is either."

Yoojin:

"How about starting with the haunted house? Would that be okay with you?"

The girls were surprised, then laughed.

Bahora:

"Then let's go!"

Yoojin felt a bit shy after suggesting it. But she liked haunted houses and had always wanted to visit one with her friends.

They entered and explored. Yoojin was so happy she even forgot about the others. But suddenly she stopped.

Yoojin:

"I was so excited, I forgot about the girls. What if they were scared? What if they didn't like it? What if they think I'm weird or start disliking me?"

Bahora:

"Yoojin, why did you stop?"

Yoojin:

"Girls, I'm sorry. Because of me, you had to enter a scary house. You must've been frightened, right?"

Bahora:

"Yoojin, look up and look at us. Do we look scared? I actually really liked it. What about you, Asilzoda?"

Asilzoda:

"I didn't feel scared, but I won't say I didn't enjoy it either. It was fun. So, where are we going next? Tell me quickly!"

Yoojin felt relieved after hearing that and continued enjoying the outing.

They spent the day having fun. After lunch, they went to a shopping mall and bought clothes.

Bahora:

"Girls, look! There are arcade games over there! Come on, let's go play!"

Asilzoda:

"This girl never runs out of energy. I can barely walk. What about you, Yoojin?"

Yoojin:

"I'm exhausted too."

Asilzoda:

"Got it. Bahora, this will be our last stop. After this, we're heading home—we're out of energy."

Bahora:

"Okay."

They played some games and took photos as a memory. On the way back, Asilzoda drove—because earlier, Bahora's driving had been terrifying.

In short, Asilzoda didn't want to "die" again.

They dropped Yoojin off at her house and returned home.

It had been one of the most unforgettable days of their lives.

Do you think this little trip strengthened the bond between the three girls? Are you more like Bahora with her endless energy, or Asilzoda with her calm and composed nature? Or maybe this "unforgettable day" felt familiar to your own experiences? Let's talk about it! 💬
