Aiden, Sion, and Nova all sat together on the couch, popcorn bowl wedged between them as the drama series started. The living room should've felt cozy, relaxed. But with Sion seated firmly between Aiden and Nova like a possessive cat, the tension was undeniable.
Every time Aiden tried to talk to Nova about a plot point or joke, Sion cut them off.
"Wasn't that scene—"
"She's clearly going to betray him."
"But I was—"
"Just wait. I've seen this before."
It didn't take long before Sion subtly reached for Aiden's hand. Aiden didn't protest.
But then—Sion's hand moved to Aiden's thigh.
Aiden froze for a second and turned his head, glaring. "You're getting too free," he warned.
In response, Sion leaned in and kissed Aiden right on the lips.
Nova almost choked on his popcorn.
"If you want me to leave," Sion said without breaking eye contact, "just say so. But don't torture my single soul watching you flirt like that."
Aiden blinked. "Who's flirting?"
Sion smirked and returned to watching the screen like he hadn't just caused an emotional hurricane.
An hour passed, and without warning, Sion grabbed Aiden and pulled him onto his lap.
Aiden narrowed his eyes. "You okay?"
Sion didn't answer. He turned his head to Nova. "If you want, you can leave."
Aiden reached out and held Nova's hand. "He's not leaving."
Sion's brows shot up in disbelief. "You're choosing him over me?"
Before Aiden could explain, "He's my friend—", Sion stood up and stormed into the bedroom, slamming the door shut.
Nova stared after him and sighed. "I think I should go. You better go deal with your oversized baby."
Aiden nodded with a groan. "Sorry for… whatever that was."
Once Nova left, Aiden made his way into the bedroom. The lights were dimmed, the air heavy with silence.
"Hey, kid," Aiden said gently.
Sion didn't respond. He lay face down on the bed like he was rehearsing for a tragic romance role.
Aiden climbed onto the bed and sat on his back, leaning down to kiss the back of his neck. "Okay, I'm sorry. You win."
Sion finally turned over, and Aiden found himself straddling him, looking down into those intense eyes.
"I'll forgive you…" Sion said slowly, voice low and husky, "if you let me give you this."
Without waiting for permission, he opened Aiden's shirt, pulled him down, and pressed his lips to the center of Aiden's neck—hard.
Aiden gasped as Sion sucked at the sensitive skin, marking him with a hickey directly above his collarbone.
"Sion…" he whispered, half-scolding, half-losing his balance.
"There," Sion said with satisfaction, eyes gleaming. "Now everyone knows you're mine."
Aiden, flustered, swatted his chest. "You're still a baby."
"But I'm your baby," Sion grinned, wrapping his arms around him, not letting Aiden go.
