The day I returned

I was walking to the store to pick up a few items, while in line to check out it started. A Portal later named a Gate immerged out in the middle of a road, cars that were driving and hit it crashed like it hit a brick wall, I was looking through the window when it happen a goblin the ones they talked about in books walked out with what seems to be a short sword. The goblin immediately went to attacking people, many more poured out of that portal for what seems to be an infinite amount. I ran dropped what I had and ran, I was a coward, I had never been into a fight more and hated violence. unfortunately my unathletic body couldn't handle all of the running and was soon exhausted. I ran into an ally way trying to find places to hide turns out it was a dead end, "shit, what's my luck" I then turned around to see a goblin running at me without warning, I tried to fight him off but with no weapon and a untrained body I stood no match. "this is how I die, to a fuckin goblin." Time stopped and it appeared [Would you like to return] "what the shit is this, why did the goblin stop" [30 seconds remaining] "what does it mean by return." Time seemed to come back as the timers went down and the goblins short sword edged closer and closer. "motherfucker" I thought looking at the [yes] [no] options Infront of me. as the timer went to three the sword was practically a few inches Infront of my face, I pressed yes, and a portal appeared under me.
