Chapter 1 - HOW I FOUND MY LOST SELF.

Well, for the first week in Pretoria, Mike was staying or should I say was visiting me in my new apartment. He actually bought the calmest and most beautiful apartment just for me to feel like I'm at home. On the 2nd week, that's when I started going to my job, and everyone was so friendly towards me. I even made friends, and they were part of the LGBTQ+ community, and I didn't even mind being around them. As for Mike that week, he was too busy to answer his phone calls, but I understood. For properly welcoming me, my colleagues decided that we hit the club and celebrate their new colleague.

That day I dressed like I was going to a fashion show. It was simple and formal, but trust me when I say if dress to kill was an actual thing I could have been arrested that day. I was wearing a white shirt, my black ladies suit with my formal black leather Jonathan D shoe. I had them knotless breads. I put in my rings, and I smelled so nice and sweet

When we arrived at the club everyone was looking so handsome and sexy, especially the single ladies. We enjoyed ourselves there till I felt too drunk and went to the bar table and ordered water. While I was waiting for my water, I heard a sweet and calm voice, "Well, you look wasted tonight." I looked around to see who said those words till I spotted the cutest and the most gorgeous woman behind me. She was the one who said those words. She pulled the chair and sat next to me. I ended up gazing in her eyes, saying nothing till the waiter spilled water on me. I wanted to shout at the waiter, but I couldn't because judging by the way the lady next to me was so breath-taking, shouting could be a red flag holded by the whole country.

"Is there something on my face?" She asked while wiping her medium-sized lips.

"Yes, there is" I leaned in close to her as if I was going to wipe something off her but I went to her ear and whispered " You have too much cuteness on your face, please wipe it off before I question my sexuality." She blushed so much that she couldn't hide it.

"Oh, please stop." She pleaded, but her voice actually wanted me to do or go farther.

The bar attended came with my water. "So you ordered water?" I asked the lady.

"I don't know if you're too wasted on alcohol right now or you're wasted due to my cuteness, but I didn't order water. You did." She said.

Well, she was right about one thing there, I was now drunk due to her cuteness. I couldn't resist but blush. I gulped my water till she stopped me. "Wooh, you actually look worse than I imagined. Can I help you drink that water?" Those words of hers shocked me till I chocked on water. She asked for a straw, and she helped me drink my water.

While I was sucking water through that straw, I couldn't resist looking into her eyes, I was actually lost in her eyes. I couldn't even notice that I was no longer drinking or sucking water. "Are you married?" That question made me come back to reality.

"Hmm… yes, I am married." I said.

"To a man?" I didn't quite get her question.

"To a man, is that your question?" I looked at her with confusion.

"Yes, that's my question." She said.

I cleared my throat first before I could even answer her. It was an easy question, but it felt so hard to answer it. It was like being asked what love is. "Yes, I'm married to a m…" I cleared my throat again before I could pronounce out the 'man' word.

"Ohhhh, I thought you were a lesbian. Sorry." I was shocked by her words even more. I ended up asking her the reason behind that. "Well first things first you're wearing a suit and your friends there are wearing dresses and men are the ones wearing suits, secondly you are wearing rings and you have a ring in your thumb and lastly you are so perfect in making a lady like me blush." I slowly took off the ring in my thumb and put it on the table.

"Well I'm not a lesbian and I didn't even know that the way I'm wearing my rings they actually represent who I am or what my sexuality is and it's easy to compliment and make women blush because I am one too." She didn't say anything she just stood up and left. My heart kept saying I should follow her just when I was about to do that. My friends Amara and Tamara blocked the way I didn't even see where the beautiful lady went.

"You look like you've just seen a ghost," Tamara said, but I couldn't answer her because I was searching for the lady with my eyes.

"It's time to go home. The transport is here and we have work the day after tomorrow." She kept talking, and I kept hearing what she was saying, but my heart wanted that lady. "Dude, what's wrong. I'm here talking alone while you're busy gazing over the door. What's wrong?" Amara asked.

Looked at her and said, " Let's go home." I went straight to the door, and I was the first one to get into the mini bus, and I sat there thinking about that lady while everyone was busy making noise about how fun the event was.

Tamara came where I was seated and said," There are two things that can make a person like that. The first one is being dumped or divorced, but for your situation, my guy, I could say, a man or a woman."

I didn't hear all the statements the part where she said, "a man or a woman." I turned so fast to look at her, and I said," How did you know?"

"I don't know anything right now, but I can tell by your face and the way you gazed at that door that you let go the wrong person." I looked at her and sighed and said nothing till I got off. She shouted," Call me if you need help or advice!" At that moment, I did not need advice. I needed that girl back.
