Backstory:

On Earth, Kael Ardent lived a humble, quiet life. He was the kind of person who preferred bookstores to parties, libraries over clubs, and late-night anime binges instead of sleep. His room was filled with notebooks, novels, and Post-it notes of plot ideas. He always dreamed of being a teacher or a writer, someone who could shape lives with words rather than weapons.

Kael never considered himself exceptional. He wasn't rich, powerful, or particularly popular. But he had a rare gift: he listened. To his peers, to the world around him, and most importantly, to stories. He believed stories were the soul of a culture, the spark that ignites progress and healing. As a freelance tutor, he was beloved by his students for making even boring subjects feel alive.

Though he faced his own share of self-doubt, loneliness, and impostor syndrome, Kael held onto one unshakable belief: every person has a story worth telling; they just need someone to help them find the words.

That belief, it turns out, was powerful enough to echo across worlds.

Background:

Kael Ardent was a quiet soul from Earth, a man who found comfort in fiction, fueled by an endless curiosity and love for learning. He wasn't a soldier or a scholar. Just a passionate reader, part-time tutor, and self-proclaimed nerd who believed that stories could shape the world. One day, after finishing his favorite novel, he was sucked into the book and found himself in a dark void. Later, he woke up in the shattered world of Remnant, in a new body at Beacon Academy.

Summoned not by fate, but by a dying wish of a forgotten god of knowledge, Kael is gifted a mysterious Mentor System. A powerful interface that doesn't grant him power to fight, but tools to teach. Lesson plans, historical data, aura diagrams, character development templates even curriculum trees are at his disposal. But more importantly, he can bring the stories of his world to life in Remnant.

He decides to travel the world as a wandering teacher, passing through kingdoms and settlements, offering lessons in combat, history, philosophy, and storytelling. He tells tales of heroes like King Arthur, Chrysos Heirs, Cartethiya, The 13 Flame Chasers, and a duo named Takt Asahina and Destiny who used a power called Music Art, and many more. But he didn't tell these stories not just to entertain, but to inspire. His unique approach to teaching challenges even the most battle-hardened Huntsmen, and his passion for education earns him both allies and enemies.

While Kael claims he has no interest in becoming a hero, his very presence starts changing the world. The young begin to dream bigger, the jaded start to hope again, and old legends awaken, listening to a new voice telling new stories.

He doesn't wield power like a warrior…

He teaches. And in doing so, he writes a new future for Remnant, even taking in students of both Faunus and Humans. But with time, many forgot what he truly looked like, while stories try to assume his appearance to this day.
