Chapter 12 - Luna Other Soul (1)

After the Queen left, my father stared at me for a long time in silence. His gaze wasn't filled with suspicion, but concern—mixed with confusion.

"How did you change so much in just a week?" he finally asked.

I offered him a small, sheepish smile and lied without blinking. "I used some potions," I said casually, waving my hand like it was no big deal

As expected, Father didn't probe any further. He simply nodded, muttering something about alchemy and brushing it off like it wasn't worth his attention.

I breathed a silent sigh of relief. Even though he's an 8-Star Knight and not someone to take lightly, his concern for me has always outweighed his curiosity.

Despite his strength, the reputation of the Queen far surpassed his, and maybe he thought it was better not to question too much—especially after her visit.

Still, I was grateful. My father was still kind to me, still warm, even when he didn't fully understand what I had become.

I yawned as I stretched out on my bed, gazing at the ceiling. "Next week's the Academy, huh…"

I muttered to myself. I needed to reach mid-layer or even late-layer of the Foundation Realm before then. If I managed that, I was confident that no one in my year would be a match for me. Heck, I might even be able to overpower students a year above me.

Feeling a surge of motivation, I stood and started pacing around my room. As I passed the training hall, I caught sight of something that nearly made me choke.

It was Seo.

He was training.

But not in the way a normal spiritual beast would.

There he was, a squirrel, seriously trying to punch a wooden block with his tiny paws. Worse, he was doing push-ups. Push-ups. With his furry little arms.

I clutched my stomach, trying to suppress the laughter bubbling up inside me. It was just too absurd.

Seo didn't even flinch. With a smug, self-assured expression, he kept going—like a warrior in a squirrel's body.

According to him, this training was taught by one of his beast ancestors. Apparently, it "connected every fiber of the body to the spirit," or whatever nonsense he spouted. Ridiculous as it looked, it somehow worked. His Breakthrough speed was impressive, far faster than most talented humans I'd seen. But still…

Watching him now, doing what looked suspiciously like squirrel-sized twerking during "Spirit circulation movement," I couldn't take it anymore.

I burst out laughing.

"Pfft—Pwahaha! What the hell are you doing?!"

I fell onto the floor, tears forming at the corners of my eyes. My stomach hurt from laughing too much. Seo paused mid-twerk, looked at me with a deadpan expression, and turned his back to me—as if I were nothing but an annoying breeze.

"Don't interrupt my flow," he said, puffing up his chest with pride. "This is ancestral knowledge."

"Ancestral nonsense," I coughed, wiping a tear from my eye.

Once I finally regained my composure, I took a deep breath and sat up. "Alright, alright… I'll let the squirrel twerk in peace."

But I had more serious things to do now.

I wanted to try something with Luna. Something important. She and Seo were the only ones I could fully trust for now. Maybe it was time I passed on some cultivation knowledge to them—techniques that wouldn't benefit me directly but could help them grow stronger

I rang the bell on the wall, a soft chime echoing through the halls.

In less than five seconds, Luna came running in, breathless and in a flurry.

She pushed the door open and immediately bowed—too quickly.

Thud!

Her forehead smacked the edge of the table.

"Ow!"

Her eyes welled up with tears as she rubbed her reddened forehead.

I stifled my laughter, again. "Really, what's up with you two?" I muttered, sighing as I looked at her adorable, teary emerald eyes. Her face was flushed red from embarrassment.

She looked like a scolded kitten.

I shook my head. "Alright, both of you. Sit down. Properly."

Seo jumped onto the cushion and sat with his paws crossed like some squirrel sage. Luna adjusted her dress and knelt beside him with perfect posture, both of them looking at me attentively.

Now they looked like disciples awaiting a grand master's sermon.

"I found a secret book," I began, my voice low and mysterious. "One that defies logic… A cultivation manual that goes beyond common understanding."

Obviously it was a Lie that i had made up For them too not ask many questions.

Their eyes sparkled with curiosity. Seo's ears twitched.

I continued, "Seo, since you're a beast, you'll need to form a Demonic Core. That's your foundation. Your body is already exceptional, but a core will push you beyond your limits."

He nodded solemnly like I had just given him the secrets of the universe.

"Now," I added, "let me inspect your dantian and soul before we proceed."

I reached out and placed my hand gently over Seo's tiny chest, focusing my spiritual sense.

To my surprise, he wasn't just compatible—he was highly talented for a spiritual beast. I could sense his potential like a surging river waiting to be released.

"Alright, start focusing on your Demonic Core. Don't rush," I instructed Teaching him how it formed and watch him fail again and again..

Seo closed his eyes and began his inner circulation.

Now, it was Luna's turn.

"Let me see your belly," I said calmly.

Her eyes widened, face turning crimson.

"W-what…?"

"Relax. It's to inspect your dantian."

After a moment of hesitation, she nodded shyly and lifted the hem of her shirt just enough to reveal a bit of her waist. Her skin was fair and smooth, her waist small and fluffy-looking.

I coughed, forcing myself to focus. "Professional. Be professional."

I reached out and placed my hand gently on her belly. It was soft, and I felt her tense under my touch. She bit her lip, trying hard not to make any sound.

"Stay still," I murmured, pushing my spiritual sense into her.

What I saw made me freeze.

Her dantian… It wasn't just good.

It was heaven-defying.

Layers of pure, untainted spiritual energy were hidden beneath the surface—something that shouldn't exist in this world, especially in someone who had never cultivated before.

And then…

There it was.

A soul—no, two souls.

One was dormant and bright gold. The other… ancient and locked.

I pressed harder, trying to reach it—and that's when everything changed.

Suddenly, a burst of light radiated from Luna's body.

I jerked my hand back instinctively. Seo, still busy focusing on his core, didn't notice a thing.

Luna's posture straightened unnaturally. Her eyes opened—but they weren't the same. They were sharp, calculating, ice-cold. Her soft golden hair now gleamed brighter, flowing like silk in the light. Her expression had transformed from cute and timid to dangerously seductive and aloof.

Gone was the clumsy girl who bowed into tables.

In her place stood a queen.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice like frost. "Where am I?"

I stared, heart thudding.

Countless theories flooded my mind. Was she like me? A soul from another world? Did she have sealed memories?

One thing was clear—Luna had been suppressing this ancient soul within her for a long time. And now, my inspection had triggered it.

it maybe because of it her heavenly Talent she was unconsciously able too suppress it and Now...

I Sighed thinking Fate really Loves too Play with me....
